- We're talking about Dragon Ball Daima and why people should care about this anime. There's a lot of big things happening in the Dragon Ball universe that are very exciting, but we wish that legendary creator Akira Toriyama was around to see them. #dragonballdaima #dragonballz #anime

Thanks for the video as a Dragonball fan I really enjoyed watching it
Its awesome to see Stephanie back as Goku for this shorter series. It's very nostalgic. I think Z Kai is my favorite series overall but I loved pretty much all of them.
Thanks for making this video 👍
Thank you for always being around. We really appreciate you and your support.
@magicaljill thanks 😊 👍
Thank you for this video, I’m sick of seeing dragon ball “fans” calling it childish garbage or gt 2.0
Classic anime fans, judging something before giving it a chance. 😮💨
@ yeah, and completely misunderstanding the entire point of the show
It's a real shame Akira Toriyama is not here to see how passionately invested many people are in his work, but I'm sure he knows.
It’s strange all these big name manga artists keep dying at what seems to be the height of their careers too almost like they’re being killed off so their works get to be messed with without their permission
@outerworld100 nah its just the life style of a mangaka is hard and after doing it for most of their lives it leaves them with a lot of health problems
Lets just be graceful that he left us with something
Hes was Japanese those mfs work too hard and they’re literally dying from never sleeping i saw a documentary how the wife would film the dad coming home with no energy for anyone and its sad the daughter comes to greet him each night for a few minutes and he sleeps for 1-2 hours and has to get right back up for work.
@ yeah that’s like slavery and losing your life to servitude animation and drawing it’s real work and it’s not as bad as the coal mines but the comparison is clear
OG Dragonball is my favorite & why I'm loving Daima.
I almost feel like this is salt in the wound for us Dragon ball GT fans. People b**ched and moaned about GT because they didn't like Goku turning Kid again essentially. I and a minority few other DB fans however still loved and adored this anime, but it still got de-cannonized.
So now I feel like GT's erasure from cannon history was a big nothing burger set off by a few whiners.
That said it doesn't mean I can't enjoy THIS anime. I hope it's good. The Super Heroes anime movie a couple years back was still great, so hopefully they carry the quality forward, children-sized or not.
Tbh we here still consider it as GT is "canon" to the Toei anime timeline (like all the filler, movies etc, despite continuity issues, a lot of those reference each other or even have GT referencing films) and then the whole "Toriyama anime canon" as the more streamlined one with DB (minus filler), DBZ Kai, Super, Broly, Superhero and Daima, and then the manga canon which is slightly different, but canon has always been a big debate with DB fans that nobody will ever agree on. We think GT does and still should matter.
People who give GT shit but worship Daima shouldn't be allowed to breathe.
I honestly still don’t like GT… like at all, but Goku being turned back into a kid was never the issue for me. People are weird.
1:44 complicated I personally count Pilaf to Buu as just “Dragon Ball” because that’s what the manga does but if I have to play by the animes rules I’ll go with Z but OG Dragon Ball has my favorite arc the 23rd Budokai.
Get well Jill!!! You're the best!!! 🎊
I'm a DB fan and I love Daima.
I am still hopeful that Super will leave that hiatus eventually.
hi Jay
20 episodes for a dragon ball series is too short. Hopefully Diama gets a continuation.
It’s a web series for a reason
@@yao.aboagye not anymore
Its a pretty usual amount of episodes for a seasonal anime
For one arc in the demon world, 20 or so episodes its fine.
Hey Jay since you and Jill seem to be into Anime a lot, maybe I could get some advice from you guys. I've recently been branching out on my Anime genres that I watch, and I was wondering if there were any Murder/Mystery/Thriller animes either of you would recommend?
I know Death Note is a standard staple of that genre and I do adore that show, but I wouldn't mind some other good Detective animes.
So we haven't watched this much, but we saw a lot of advertisements for Detective Conan. I know that's supposed to be a really good mystery series. I think there are either multiple versions of it or multiple movies of it. So that's one that comes to mind. This isn't a murder mystery per say but FMA Brotherhood Is also a pretty long winding anime over the course of 60ish episodes that has a very big mystery tied into the story of what's going on. It's one of the bigger mysteries I've ever seen in an anime.
@@magicaljill Ooo thanks for the advice guys. I'll check into Detective Conan especially.
hi Jill
Recent Moro and super this is just to kiddie
Db has always been for kids, sure the freeza and cell saga took on a more serious tone but og Db, buu saga, and gt were very goofy aswell
