Maybe I'm slow but I still don't understand why they had to kill everyone including kids . Why not just fake an inspection at the canal and take the servers
You little children 😂 see donnie darko
I find it outrageous that no one speaks of Sixto Rodriguez in the context of the Chicano movement in the US in exactly the city in which he lives in and the times when the movement began and also how it blends in simultaneously with the American Indian Movement [AIM] inexactly the SAME years at the intersection of the end of the '60's and the very early years of the 1970's.
YES………. YES IT IS WORTH THE WATCH!! It’s worth MULTIPLE WATCHES! I have seen it AT LEAST 15 times! It’s a fucking awesome movie! Legit it’s in my Top 10 favorite movies! Right along side “Man on Fire” with ol’ Denzel Washington! Actually “Man on Fire” is in my Top 3 favorite movies! 🤘🏻😝🤘🏻
Dropping some knowledge 🔥 🤢
When 10 was like "no" and then just ruined an amazing send off for Max I was actually insanely pissed and will not be watching the finale. Absolutely disrespectful the kind of shit they pulled in last season
Another good video. Someone stop this man!!
A really interesting video and good watch I agree with your sentiments as a whole 100 percent and fictional deaths are not a topic often discussed. Brave choice on your part with what could be a hot topic. Stranger Things: this is one of my favorite series (thanks to @jamesdewayne for the recommendation to watch it). I loved season 4, and never pictured it without the Hopper/Russia story. You’re right. It WOULD have worked AND left Hopper’s death to resonate hmmm. Also, when season 5 drops there might be a lot of us who need a “previously on” RUclips video from a great content creator to help us remember the important story beats
please help me i am trying to find soundtrack name of countdown when it appears in ep1 the mysterious timer appears
at the bar towards the beginning ? its either "take on me" by a-ha or "piano man" by Billy Joel, other than that it would be an original score from the show
@@jamesdewayne no that's not what i am finding, the countdown timer soundtrack
A death countdown soundtrack its okay there's no way its available
Im 58 first song i found was halfway up the stairs at 14 every song Sixto has produced i relate too his music is superior i find bob dylan not authentic. Sixto was & always will be the ultimate musician for me R.I.P your gift to us is forever never to bw forgotten ♥️
Great video, once again! I've been really loving this channel since a few months ago when you did three body analysis... Curious if you've ever watched Ozark? This video reminded me of a particular death towards the very end that stirred up a lot within me, and I'm sure most of the serious fans. Based on what I've seen so far, I think you would really like Ozark, there's a whole lot of symbolism and other interesting ideas to unpack which seems to fit perfectly in your wheelhouse, imo.
i tried to get into it a while ago but never could. then that ending you’re referring to was spoiled for me so i know what you mean. i think it’s something i may like/may get into in the future. but it seems like people like the more sci fi/mystery/fantasy stuff on here. but thanks so much !! that means a lot fr. i’ve enjoyed getting to talk with you over the comments 🙌 but based on your description it looks like i may have had the wrong idea about what the show is really about. you’ve definitely intrigued me
@@jamesdewayne for sure. I know you're doing a ton of different stuff. But as mentioned, you seem to pick up on symbolism a lot, and there is a ton of it in Ozark. Give it another chance when you feel ready to. I mean it's your channel so do whatever you want lol. Take care
hey i love how u analyze serieses {idk waht the plural word for series is} i would love to see if you would make videos over some more series like la brea and under the dome totally understandable if u dont wanna anyways nice content hope ur good yay
lol i had the same problem with that word in this video. i think it’s just series ? and yes that is the plan, i have one in the works right now (dark matter on apple tv don’t tell anyone 👀) it’s just such a heavy show so it’s taking me longer. that’s really the only reason i don’t do series explanations as frequent because i like to fully dive into it and it takes a lot of time. just tryna build out the channel still. but thank you so much ! hope you’re good too :)
@@jamesdewayne the google machine says series is the same whether plural or singular...
I always thought that Russia has it's own bit of the upside down that was at least semi open... mainly because of the demogorgon.
true that makes sense. i just think they should’ve never got into the russia plot anyway. especially since they are ending after next season and it’s all about vecna and hawkins. maybe if it was a longer series id like it more
Saul telling will about the santi killing him and reconstructing his body for 10,000 years sounds like a reference to WH40k dark eldar lol
The Chinese version is good too!
His music is really just not that appealing & listenable to me, sorry.
fair enough fair enough. if there were any of his songs id say are recommendable to everyone, it's "I Think Of You" and "Street Boy" if you haven't heard those already!
Awesome change of pace! I was hoping for more 3 body stuff, as we've discussed, but this was great! No I've got a long list of movies that I need to see, thanks dude
always here to recommend 🤞
A really cool teaser trailer here for your video. It’s honestly next level and the best promo you’ve done imo. The clips, music, coordination. Dope bro 👊
🙌 preciate that. definitely one of my favorites I've made
It was not only in SA this story reverberated in NZ as well I grew up with Rod riguez . part of the fabric
NZ. The man was so popular, just got sick of the state of the industry I guess.
The movies that are referenced here are among my favorites and outside of the ones that are obviously similar to one another, I had never noticed the common linking threads that you mention putting them into a similar category. I’ve just known that they resonate with me. Now I better understand why. It was also pretty cool how your tone, pace, visuals, etc mirrored the genre. Completely dope move there 👊
🙌 I know you're a dazed and confused and everybody wants some fan. I suggest you watch licorice pizza and american graffiti if you haven't already
@@jamesdewayne great memory man 🔥 those are two of my favorite movies ever. So, I will definitely check out your recommendations this summer and get back to you. Have a good one and keep killing it
Thank you James
Clue is in my top ten favorite movies. I have no idea how many times I've seen it. "Murder by Death" is great too and it's similar to Clue. Starring: Eileen Brennan, Peter Faulk, Alec Guinness, Truman Capote, Peter Sellers, etc...
I expected some sort of interesting theory and symbolic understanding. You just retold the movie.
Do an updated ranking of every episode including season 4!
lol how'd you know 👀 im already on it
@@jamesdewayne WOOOOOOOOO
I'm being reminded of the story of Raj's father in relation with Will, when he played dead to approach the enemy camp and was able to neutralise them so his troops survived
I get it that the sophons are extremely intelligent supercomputers with entangled twins, but I'm still perplexed on their capacity to be effective, due to their limited atomic size. They could be anywhere but not everywhere, the information they get is on the quantum level (since it's impossible to see or hear subatomically), and it take immense amounts of energy to fully expand and get back to their proton size.
Unless you've been living under a rock you've definitely heard about this guy. There was a major movie made about him that played in festivals all over the world. He was touted (erroneously) as being Bob Dylan before Bob Dylan. Thing is anyone afforded that much exposure that then fades back into obscurity in less than a decade is clearly not that important to most serious music fans. Never be sorry to tell the truth
The ship scene was carnage! I really didn't expect it 😱
I didn't get the story of Raj's father either, nor Will's talk with his cancercells, which on this review make much more sense now! Also it's worth mentioning that despite the fact that the SAN-TI behave collectively, the first message seemed to be from an individual stating he/she "is a pacifier and we're lucky he received the message first"...
I miss the songs too... They were amazing.
How did they deploy the nanofibers to do that? Was it like 2 ships on the opposite end of the harbor or what? I’m so confused
All you need is one super volcano to rain hell on earth. I'm surprised the writers didn't go with that. Look up Krakatoa in Wikipedia which exploded in 530 AD and the earth's darkness for 535-536 AD for 18 months.
It’s Satanism. All religions worship lucifer. Yes all of them. Jews didn’t exist until recent and this is mostly where you will find the demon possessed who serve the Lord in exchange for wishes. They hide as Catholics too. I should say they started hiding as Catholics and tried to get the new Jews to convert but it worked in their favor to have a race of money hungry pathetic victims because they’re so easy to possess. They aren’t very pretty and we know demons are obsessed with smell and appearance - it’s actually the Tell to spot them. Plan to Fancy. Satanism is focused on stones and transdimensional portals. Gravity Falls is similar. Star Trek enterprise. The demons can’t come here directly, they use our bodies like a space ship. The heart is where they get in. The body cannot operate correctly and we experience disease and early death due to the demons. Forgiveness in the form of deliverance can free you from them. Win Worley ran these summons in the 80s that are on bitchute… I was surprised that my ghost hunting app spewed out tons of stuff until I repented through his pray and also expelled demons from my home and family - it took 5 minutes for the app to say STRIKE and I shut it off and repented for using it again but it was very supernatural. Supernatural. Just like the show…Demons are real and Angels are dicks
Lucifer is female. Lucifer is their God. They have been searching for the stones of Lucifer of crown since she fell. The titanic sapphire is exactly the same so either they know exactly what it looks like OR they have it.
great video, I was hooked the entire way through. imo I think adding some more haunting music would definitely elevate this video essay even higher, I'd nominate something similar to the sicario soundtrack, because i watched a video essay on sicario a couple days ago and the music made it really stick in my head in a way that wouldn't have happened if it didn't use the music, it added a more ethereal feeling to the whole video and made me think about it even days later. (this is the video btw: ruclips.net/video/Omkf9s80gIQ/видео.html ) I think if you can do what this guy did and match the music and the tone of the video it creates an atmosphere the whole project. I also think that adding fitting music really fills out the empty space left by what is otherwise a voiceover and movie clips (though i could hear a faint drum beat) and makes it much easier to consume. and will entertain our ears more and probably make this video stick in out heads more, though these are just my opinions.
thank you! and yes I realized after posting I should've added some background music during the true crime part. I just wasn't sure because I was talking about such heavy subject matter for the first time on here and didnt want to be disrespectful by trying to make it more entertaining/spooky - idk if that makes sense lol but now I realize it's kind of just the way to do true crime
I just wish they didnt choose to look like a Kardashian.
I remember seen the album back in 1978 I was at high school. At that stage I had never heard any of the songs on cold fact or who Rodriguez was but in South Africa that album became hugely influential.
I saw Rodriguez Live in a small Bingo Hall Fortitude Valley Brisbane Australia in the mid 70's. He was not a well known / popular musician at the time and didn't get the recognition he deserved.
One of my favorite movies
Yes it's worth the hype
Most enjoyable docu video. Missed his show in JHB. Missed all his shows. But i do have both albums. Fact and After. Puts you into a different mood every time you hear it. I too cried when i saw the documentary of his first performance. What an awesome moment for EVERYONE just to be there. He didn't have to sing one word. And that was enough.. A true legend of a man.
🙏🙏🙏
Thank you for the translation of the message:)
How are they going to get the nukes in place to propel the sail?
I really like his role in anger management cause in my mind he represents someone want's to help people resolve there underlining problems in life and is not afraid to bend the rules to do so. For example, the scene where he causes the traffic jam on the bridge with Adam Sander's character while on his way to work to sing "I feel pretty" is comedy gold. XD
CAPTIONS because you are QUIET
"since.....YOU KNOW" got me laughing at the very scene that made me sob before 😂😂😂
