Does that capture card you use have any latency for the passthrough display on the TV, or only on OBS?

After much thought, I think my best to worst Nitro Cup rankings ultimately goes like this: Mushroom: 64 > Wii > Double Dash > DS > 8 > 7 > Super > Super Circuit Flower: 7 > Wii > DS > Double Dash > 64 > Super Circuit > 8 > Super Star: 7 > Wii > 8 > DS > 64 > Super Circuit (Lightning Cup) > Double Dash > Super Circuit (Star Cup) > Super Special: Wii > 7 > Double Dash > DS > Super Circuit > 64 > 8 > Super In terms of enjoyment: I don't think there's a single bad Mushroom Cup; the worst of them is still a decent relatively fun romp. Super Circuit and up is where the overall good Flower Cups are. 8 is mediocre, carried by Shy Guy Falls and having two alright tracks in Toad Harbor and Twisted Mansion. There is only one bad Star Cup, that being Super. The overall quality on Star Cups from Super Circuit Star Cup and onward are also much higher than the overall Flower Cup quality, with the great Star Cups starting from Super Circuit (Lightning Cup) onwards, AND Super Circuit's actual Star Cup marking the beginning of the good ones. Special Cup's enjoyment fluctuates wildly on the lower end, some cups being literal rollercoasters in terms of their highs and lows. Ghost Valley 3 and Rainbow Road are good in Super, 8 has a fantastic beginning in Cloudtop Cruise, then fluctuates between average for Dry Bones Desert, great for Bowser's Castle, and to it's lowest point with my least favorite Rainbow Road, 64 has similiar highs and lows, DK's Jungle Parkway is pretty great, Yoshi Valley is kinda mid, Banshee Boardwalk is probably my favorite track in the game, and then Rainbow Road looks fantastic but is the worst to race on (but trying to take the extremely high-risk, high-reward shortcut in casual play and T.T. is always great), and then finally you get to Super Circuit which bucks the trend because all the courses are pretty good with Broken Pier and Bowser's Castle 4 being among some of my favorite courses and the gimmick for GBA Rainbow Road is really great (music-wise though, I think it's weaker than pretty much all other Rainbow Roads except for MK8's Rainbow Road), DS has three really good courses in Wario Stadium, Bowser's Castle, and Rainbow Road, and one good course in Peach Gardens, Double Dash Special Cup is just very good all around, 7 has what are honestly my favorite Bowser's Castle and Rainbow Road which rank among my overall favorite Top 4 MK7 tracks and are among what I personally consider to be the all-time best ones for those themes, and Wii Special Cup outranks 7's by just really having no very good tracks; each track sits around the really great to amazing, with Wii Rainbow Road possibly tying with Mario Kart 7 Rainbow Road for the best Nitro Rainbow Road in the series.

What i love about Mario Kart Wii is that it has the best nitro track selection, i mean, the least popular track in the game is Luigi Circuit which is just considered mid while all other tracks (aside from maybe Mario Circuit) are fan favorites. All other Mario Kart games have a fair share of unpopular tracks and even some tracks that are widely hated (e.g. MK8 has Bone Dry Dunes and Twisted Mansion, 7 has Neo Bowser City and so on) while MKWii has no hated tracks

I agree with you on MK8’s Flower Cup, and I’m willing to take it even further: MK8’s Flower Cup is one of the worst flower cups in Mario Kart history. Sure, Toad Harbor is pretty good, but, at least in my opinion, Mario Circuit and even Shy Guy Falls are both just alright, and Twisted Mansion is pretty awful. I think I’d rather play Super Circuit’s Flower Cup over MK8’s. but overall these are the games that I think have the best of each cup. Mushroom Cup: Wii Flower Cup: Wii Star Cup: Wii (I think you see a pattern here) Special Cup: DS (Wii RR is amazing but DS’s RR and DS having my favorite BC in the series is what makes it #1.) Also this list is coming from someone who played all the Mario Karts and didn’t just grow up with Wii, and Wii wasn’t my first Mario Kart.

I love your videos! Also, while I can agree being able to drive up to Peach's Castle is the best part of Royal Raceway, I don't agree that it's the only great part. The track as a whole is very pretty and enjoyable to race on, and another big standout is the big jump which is especially impressive for the time.

It's a shame you couldn't talk about Super Circuit's Lightning Cup. It's probably the best cup in the game IMO

Honestly my top 4, Maple Treeway, Airship Fortress, Dino Dino Jungle, and Daisy Cruiser are all in my top 5 favorite courses from the entire series

Perfectly cut, didn't know DS has so much blues....

It's a great game with an unique playstyle compared to the rest of the games. Just wish the cutscenes and transitions were shorter to tighten up the pace, and entering a boss arena provided additional 50 seconds instead of 100.

Mario kart Wii was my childhood

1) N64 sucks. Literally the most important track is a long, boring slog 2) GBA RR is almost the best, but I agree that it is limited by its game and time. 3) Cloudtop cruise is mid, tbh, but bowser's castle makes up for it. And then the entire cup is tanked by that disgrace of a Rainbow Road (still better than n64 though) 4) DS RR is really good imo, i really like 3DS, then DS, then Wii, then GBA, then SNES 5) Dry Dry Ruins is boring.
