I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks the Wushu island tracks are kinda overrated, they aren't bad, but I've never understood the love some people have for them.
I don’t know why but the colours feel very washed out and dull in Mariokart 7 compared to DS, Wii and 8. And the movement of the karts is sluggish. The mechanics and visuals really take me out of the illusion and make it less chaotic and not as fun as other games. But an amazing track selection, especially the retros.
Here's the real thing. Number 32 is Wario Shipyard. This one shouldn't exist. We don't need this many about the worst characters in existence. Number 31 is Waluigi Pinball. This one is awful. Number 30 is Neo Bowser City. This one is awful but not as awful. 29 is Toad Circuit. I don't know why this one is coming back. If they are adding something about Toad they should've chose Toads Factory. 28 is Mario Circuit 2. Another horrible one. Number 27 is Luigi Raceway. I don't hate the track but it's just so boring. Number 26 is GBA Bowser Castle 1. It's ok. 25 is Kalimari Desert. I was never a fan of this track. Even with the change to drive on the train tracks in Tour and 8 deluxe it's still a boring track. Number 24 is DK Pass. This track is so forgettable. It's just a combination of DK Mountain and DK Summit. Number 23 is S.N.E.S Rainbow Road. Number 22 is Piranha Plant Slide it's pretty good. Number 21 is ROCK ROCK MOUNTAIN not Alpine Pass. 20 is Mario Circuit. This is my favorite Mario Circuit. Number 19 is Daisy Hills. Number 18 is Cheep Cheep Lagoon. 17 is Koopa Cape. Downgrade ruins it. 16 is Airship Fortress. Overrated in my opinion. I like some parts but not the best. 15 is Luigi's Mansion. I like it more. 14 is Koopa Troopa Beach. 13 is Daisy Cruiser. 12 is DK Jungle. I wish those things still made that sound in 8 deluxe. 11 is Bowser Castle. 10 is Wuhu Loop. 9 is Maple Treeway. 8 is Shy Guy Bazaar. 7 is Dino Dino Jungle. 6 is Mushroom Gorge. Top 5! 5 is Music Park. Number 4 is Coconut Mall. Number 3 is Maka Wuhu. 2 is Rosalina's Ice World. And finally number 1 is Rainbow Road. This is my favorite track ever just barely beating Yoshi's Island.
Can we talk about the lava underwater? I know this is mariokart, but this has always bothered me
Shy Guy Bazar is a top 10 track for me, same goes for the two Wuhu Island tracks. Other than that i agree with most of your picks. Great ranking

For some reason, I liked Neo Bowser City more than Bowser’s Castle (idk, the lava/underwater mixture still bugs me to this day)…
