I think we all know that the only reason that waluigi pinball is as beloved as it is is because it's a waluigi themed track. Theme it around literally any other character while keeping everything else the same and it loses like half its appeal.

Mario Kart DS was my first ever Mario Kart game and is my favorite Mario Kart Game. I'm very happy to see this video because it brings back so many memories
DS has always been my favorite game in the series, cause it´s the one I play the most as a kid, especially cause of the Mission Mode and the Battle Mode Pretty fun ranking, can´t believe Baby Park was in S Tier
I'm honestly curious how many hours I have clocked on my copy of Mario Kart DS. It was basically my go-to as a kid whenever I needed something to do on family trips, so I'm glad to see it getting love!
The 3DS is able to display how many hours you have on each game and I think the DSi/DSi XL can too, but in either case it can probably only log total playtime on that specific unit.

I think Palm Shore is meant to be a reference to one of the new rooms in Mario 4 DS (which makes sense as a lot of, if not all of the bosses are shared between the 2). and the background of the red sky and dark trees in Bowser's Castle was used later for world 8 in New Super Mario Bros which is nice to see

Mkds is my first Mario Kart game ever and I used to play this game all day and night. The Nitro course track are definitely the highlights of the game and WALUIGI Pinball, Delfino Sqaure and Tiktock Clock are masterpieces.
I’ve got one for 7 written up already, I’ve actually never played 64 though. I don’t have an N64 so idk if that one is on the table for me in the future
The donut Plain presentation was pretty funny to me im sorry, i just like dumb play in games. I kinda vibe with some of the C-Tier courses bcuz they are easy to race, and if you do time trial they take way less than some longer. So far i like this video. Its cool to see u talk bout more things!
My first ever and favorite Mario kart game will always be Double Dash but man did the DS game spoil me with so much! Waluigi Pinball, Wario Stadium (the DS version obviously hopefully one day nintendo decides to remake the n64 version), Tick Tock Clock, DK Pass, Airship Fortress, Peach Gardens, Bowser’s Castle, Rainbow Road, giving us 16 retro tracks and MISSION MODE! So many good memories and so many hand cramps but it was worth it!!!

I absolutely loved Waluigi Pinball as a kid and still think it’s great, but it’s not my favorite DS course anymore. I’d put it at the highest spot of A because for as creative as the theming is, I think it doesn’t take full advantage of it. You’re on the pinball table for a little bit, and that’s all. All that’s there until then is the rolling pinball on the road, which is ok. Courses like Tick Tock Clock and Airship Fortress utilize their theming more often. The clock hands, pendulums, gears, bullet bills, rocky wrenches, the cannon, etc. They do more for me and would be in S tier in my own list
Heya, huge Luigi’s Mansion enjoyer as well as DS Mario Kart fan, Fun fact some of the paintings that aren’t boos were the bosses you fight in Luigi’s Mansion, and i absolutely love it
24:41 Airship Fortress music always reminds me of that song, "Tu Es Foutu" by In-Grid. 😄 ..and the Waluigi Pinball course really had me convinced something special would happen if you had to drive through the tunnel at the exact moment the slot machine characters are aligned. 😄

Ds feels super top heavy for me. the circuit tracks all feel so boring and bland and I don't like any retro besides the N64 ones and sky garden. However, this game has like 12 A and S tier tracks(Wario Stadium, Waluigi Pinball, Peach gardens, Delfino square, Tick tock clock, Bowser's castle, Sky Garden, Banshee Boardwalk, Luigi's mansion, Airship Fortress, Rainbow Road, Shrooms Ridge)
They’re good but I didn’t have enough to say about them to give them a segment of the video. Eyerock is probably my favourite and Goomboss is the only thing of quality associated with Baby Park in the entire game.
I know it is *a* fan favorite but I’ve yet to see a list where it’s actually just the top spot in solely DS track lists. Maybe I’m not looking hard enough.
I recently saw someone make a video where the rankings were decided by RUclips community poll vote and they tied for first place, so I’m sure there are some out there where Airship Fortress is on top.
Can’t really think of a video I’d wanna make on them, but the first one is one of my favourite games and the Garden Warfare Duology is pretty great too

waluigi pinball is one of the worst tracks on ds imo. half the time ur on a random road above the pinball machine and all u do for the 5 seconds on the pinball machine is drive forward and pray to god u don’t get hit
Choco Island 2 is horrible. The ugly visuals frustrating mechanics have lead to it being probably my least played course in the game. It's the only track in the entire game where I haven't even unlocked the staff ghost, and the mission in which you collect coins on this track is the only one in the entire game where I don't have a triple star rank

@@Harrison_big_lad I dunno if I’m good enough at those games to know anything about the meta and such. I prefer to make my content more about my own personal preferences with things rather than taking an objective analytical approach like I’d have to do with that one.

waluigi pinball is one of the worst tracks on ds imo. half the time ur on a random road above the pinball machine and all u do for the 5 seconds on the pinball machine is drive forward and pray to god u don’t get hit

Choco Island 2 is horrible. The ugly visuals frustrating mechanics have lead to it being probably my least played course in the game. It's the only track in the entire game where I haven't even unlocked the staff ghost, and the mission in which you collect coins on this track is the only one in the entire game where I don't have a triple star rank
