a french insect glaive user that loves bugs autistically, i wasn’t expecting that but it’s strangely accurate…

I do have a half hour course on how to kill a Rathian! How did you know!? Also knowing every monster's every moveset and being patient enough to wait 3 days for attacks to go through translated really well to the lance when I tried it yesterday when I only got hit a single time in an entire Astalos hunt.

The only thing i like about Rise is the personalities of each individuals and they got names.

Rise LBG can be fun - it just takes more creative setup than most other weapons. I made a build that uses both Pierce and Spread at once, relying on Fanning Maneuver for absurd mobility and hot-swapping ammo based on distance. Called it the Doomslayer, and also made a Hellsing version that sacrifices some DPS for better handling of Bloodblight. Good on its own, even better with my HBG friend dropping silkbind rings for me to position around and abuse.

Correction about the Switch Axe: I wanted an Axe, but the game won't have a weapon category that are just axes.

Honestly my long term fav was the light bowgun but omfg the lance is pure bliss i goddamn love it. When i am not solo I am always both tank and healer as nobody seems to be able to bunker down when elder dragons chuck a tantrum and it seems i am always one of like 2 people max who realize fainting is bad or that a low health bar is courting failure.

It's good to see other people who enjoy the Gunlance.
