Simon Quinlank - that was the name of the "hobby man" that was played by Kevin Eldon, and appeared in Lee and Herring's "Fist of Fun" and "This Morning With Richard Not Judy". I finally remembered his name.
@@alphabetaxenonzzzcat that's the fella! Hysterical, blooming love Eldon, always remember the sketch in Big Train where he plays the Evil Hypnotist 😀
As a young boy I spent many days in Margate on holiday. We used to go down from Birmingham as Margate was the home of my Nan and Grandad. I absolutely loved the place. It’s changed a bit now though.
The truth will always out! You sweet (borderline) genius.
This guy was also Thoros of Mir in GoT
THOSE BOOTS! Never forgotten them!
I really love this work (from one of my regular live stream supporters) and I just wanted to put that out there for all and sundry ruclips.net/video/_9kQX-obdg8/видео.html I am truly blessed to be in the company of such a talented bunch whom choose to join me each and every week for these live streams. Thank you!
Thanks MDC, very good of you, I do enjoy your livestreams, great bunch of people and we do have a laugh!
Guy Burgess, Kim Philby, Donal Maclean, Anthony Blunt.
I really hate the character 'Dennis Pennis', but he does prompt some responses from celebs that reveal a little more about themselves than they would like. Some have class. Some do not.
Good ol'days of British holiday at the good ol'British seaside 👍👍
I was 6 when this was filmed. Growing up in the north, I always remember my parents telling me what southererns thought of us (they had travelled to the south on holiday) They thought we were utter shit. Don't fall for all this once great UK bullshit.
These are great, more the merrier!
Man alive series was on bbc2 back then too.
Loved him as Mr.Salt from Willy Wonka.
Everyone's so slim back then!! Where's McDonald's😝
I love this.. Dennis brought some of these insane egos crashing down.. Heir Piece.. 😂 we need more!!! Bring back the Pennis!! 😂😂😂
Not my Simon Templar! The Templar of the books often carried out extrajudicial executions of the villains. That has never been palatable to any director or producer, but it was what made the Charteris stories so unique.
Fascinating glimpse of England in the 70s, but the commentator's tone is very patronising ("battery hens become free-range" etc.)...
These are good. Its a shame the nanny state edit words out This was broadcast in the afternoons originally. 2024 woke beyond belief !
عمر الشريف فنان مصرى نفتخر به كمصريين وكعرب وهو ظاهرة غير قابلة للتكرار ، رحمه الله ، عمر ..احبك .
Even the star had no faith in the film! I remember watching it as a kid at a birthday party. Excitement turned to disappointment pretty quickly. Then the party descended into chaos.
some of the celebs are just arrogant tossers who desperately need adulation. awful people. some did take it in good fun though. its tells you a lot about who are the real ones.
My granny went to Margate from Glasgow on her own in 1974 to convalesce at the British Rail convalescent home after my Grandad died, I was only 7 and so worried about her, it seemed a million miles away! I remember she brought me back a jar or humbugs and a Dusty Bin from the TV programme lol
WOW! What a cracker. Best bit of entertainment I have had since when. Thank you so much, such happy days👏👏👏
HOW we can ALL sympathise with that little chap @25:43 who's hurt his finger!. we have ALL been him!. Note that despite being so young he already KNOWS that the nurses suggested treatment of a few stitches is going to hurt even MORE then his injury, hence his plea of "NO" in the background when that remedy is mentioned.Poor lad.
Emily Shove made me feel better and I wasn’t ever down t’Margate🤣🤣🤣
There are many parts of Margate I remember so fondly. The Punch and Judy had never seemed so real when I was an ickle boyI I always wondered what the P.A address system lined along the promenade was for. I remember the pub pianist. There was no Seafood shown but plenty going on. It's up tp us to get it all back. It's a great film; crackin' effort!
Omar sharif reminds me of Freddie mercury
Now you come to mention it…

Droll. Thankfully this sort of crappy and inane celebrity worship has dwindled and is dying today with only the hardcore sychophants maintaining the illusion for the Luciferian Judeo-Masonic Establishment that owns the Entertainment Industries✡️😈💯🙄
30 years ago, only seems like yesterday
This is one of the best Interviews I have seen on You Tube ❤ David Jason Is a Legend of Uk TV 📺👍🇬🇧👍 Only Fools And Horses Darling Buds Of May, Frost, Danger Mouse
We will NEVER get these times back, thank the Tories AND Labour for ruining OUR country with uncontrolled immigration.
Genius 😅
I lament the loss of this once great nation, the young of today have no clue whatsoever what has been lost, i feel sorry for them in a way, it has been given away by all governments over the past 3 decades, the mid 90's is where it all began, we will never see the like again.
brought a tear to my eyes watching that. my kind of girls from my kind of childhood and now Well you know what Margate has become
Brian Harvey, day off from East-17 (34.50)
what?
How do you it Major D? More vintage Jan Francis for us to enjoy. Brilliant!
I hadn't seen this before and I have to say that I am thoroughly loving watching this series and watching it for the first time with my subscribers when it airs on Sundays.
No way to live, but typically england
Thank you so much.🥰🥰🥰
Lovejoy!!!🌋 Charlie Gimbert
So funny.
