Rooms: The Accused (1977)

Originally I planned on only uploading my favourite episodes from series 1 and 2, of which I had already done, but anyways, here a treat with another.
When Mrs Beale's purse goes missing, suspicion falls on James Pasmore. Even his wife believes that he may be the guilty party. This episode of Rooms is from series two and it was originally broadcast on Wednesday the 4th May, 1977.

The Passmore character reminds me of Henry McGee's upper crust con man character Seymour ( similar name too ) in the Rising Damp episode 'The Perfect Gentleman'. Donald Burton later married Carroll Baker, the American actress who appeared in 'Giant', 'Andy Warhol's Bad' & several cult Italian films.
Coincidentally Anne Dyson played a character called Mrs Pasmore in David Storey's Play For Today 'Pasmore' ( on youtube ).
