I can’t imagine what she’d be like when Alison was older. She’d probably be the type of grandmother who would make so many exceptions for their granddaughter and when Carol would say no to Allison and Carol’s mum would probably say “oh never mind your mum” “or don’t listen to your mum.
Her mum acts as if they’re just going to have a friendly conversation and then she just goes on and on at Carol and acting as if she’s Allison’s mum in a way too when she’s only her grandmother.
Gosh I do feel like Carol’s mum is such a nightmare in a way kind of just the way she is and it’s as if carol’s still a young child living in her mum’s environment and house and saying that her baby Alison was an accident who on earth does she think she is and it’s her daughter who she’s talking to like Carol said. And when she says “I don’t want any of your snide remarks” snide remarks ooooh I’ll give you snide remarks mum it would be good if carol said that I’d like to see her mum’s face. To be honest I’m surprised Carol put up with her for so long if her mum was always like that. And does she ever take that fur hat off I bet it’s not winter either outside it could be but she’s wearing it all the time inside too.
The way she thinks that the flat looks bad and it’s not the best I’d be saying “well it’s not the ritz or Buckingham Palace far from it and it ain’t no stately home either and we can’t all live in posh mansions and high class manors.”
What a horrible male. Shouting at the woman after having a baby and stuck within four walls whilst he goes out drinking the money away and she goes no where. He works in a drab place and she lives in a drab place with no money and he blames her. Depressing episode.
I can remember watching this every week, thoroughly enjoyed it
Brilliant! 1977 what a tremendous year anyway. I wish I could have the entire series on dvd though! Many thanks.
You are very welcome Darren, thanks for the comment.
Premium bonds were sort of the equivalent of today's National Lottery.
Thank you for uploading this series
Totally welcome
Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes!!
Wow, my house looks just like this !
Relationships are difficult animals to tame; sometimes just allowing the other person to be can work wonders....
🎉❤ woohoo! What a treat, thank you for these
You are very welcome

Carol’s mum sure can talk about snide remarks. Does she even know the words coming out of her own mouth?
People like Carol have no ability control their voices
Thank you

Carol’s mom is where eating disorders, and self-medicating/bad choices come from .
Did Carol and Ian feature again in the series? I think it was probably filmed in 1976 judging by the excellent Ronnie Lane's Slim Chance poster.

Fkn hate how men go in the huff over making love. It makes them so unappealing .
Nkay. Who’s dosing baby Allison??? Seriously, that baby could sleep through anything! 😆
What is this ?? - I have never heard of or seen this before !
See my Rooms playlist for details.
That young girl looks familiar - Was she in "CORONATION STREET" back in the day ?
I remember her from her role playing Zammo's mum, Mrs. McGuire, from Grange Hill.
@@majordolbyscat Wow, yeah....That was a bit later on !
