Under the Hammer (1994)

1. The Fatal Attribution.
"Secrets and Seduction at a London Auction House" was the tagline for this 90's drama / comedy series, while the premise might not sound riveting stuff to many, this short lived series was helmed by two enigmatic, well loved national treasures Richard Wilson and Jan Francis, along with being created by John 'Rumpole' Mortimer, it certainly wasn't for the lack of producers trying something a bit different.
This is episode one and it was originally broadcast on Monday 10th January, 1994 and on ITV and guest stars Sir John Gielgud. Under the Hammer only managed to survive one series and there were seven episodes in all.
