Following the death of her mother, Mabel 'Magnet' Dunham sets off to join her father in Canada. The British have just suffered a heavy defeat, by the French, at Concordia and Fort Oswego is the new front line with soldiers deserting daily.
This Sunday afternoon serial was originally broadcast on 18th November, 1973. Written in five parts by Allan Prior and Alistair Bell and based on the famous book "The Pathfinder" by J. Fenimore Cooper
