Gail Renard's story is set in both modern and Victorian times and remains a rarity indeed, this atmospheric six part ghost / supernatural / mystery serial was made for children, and to those with a keen memory might remember that it was originally shown as part of a short-lived ATV (Associated Television) anthology series of children's dramas subtitled 'Spooky'. When Central TV took over from ATV, it was rumored that this show along with episodes from the once extremely popular Tiswas, were wiped and lost forever. This episode was originally broadcast on the 1st April, 1981
