I have one that has about 700 rounds and I am starting to see the slide stop fail to stop the slide after the final round. Does anyone have any ideas or has anyone seen this with the PPS M2?

Hi there, love the videos and info. Have quick question re, my new Volquartsen .22 Black Mamba. I noticed recently that the barrel feels a little lose, like a small bit of free play in it, but for some reason after firing approx 200 rounds of mini mag and mini mag standard when I have the pistol in my hand and give it a little shake I can feel the barrel after becoming a bit more loser so to speak. I have tried the adjustment tool that’s issued with the pistol on all the screws both on the pistol and also on the red dot scope. Everything was 100% tight, in fact I wasn’t able to get any turns at all. So……. Is this normal to have some movements with barrel. You can genuinely feel it moving if you give it the slightest shake/twist in your hand…. Just to verify my concern, I did ask a few members to see if they noticed how loose it was and each confirmed the same….in that the all taut it was very unusual. Can you help please. I only have it a few weeks and it’s a fab piece of engineering. Maybe it’s a simple fix.

'Accurate, reliable...' ...and a RUST MAGNET. NONE of the small parts (slide stop and spring, magazine release and spring, pins, etc) are coated for corrosion resistance.

If i have the xl could i buy the slide and barrel of the comp version instead of the entire gun?

Genuinely, didn't start small. Have never owned a gun (want to), but have had friends that do and have graciously allowed me to fire theirs. First gun I ever fired was chambered in 7.62 x 54R (Mosin). Started off HOT and then sort of jumped around from there. Various .22LR's and 9mm's, .500 S&W Special, 7.62 x 38R, 7.62 x 25, and various 12 gauge shotguns (birdshot).

The 1911 is like the wife that will be there till the end, faithful and true. Anyone can get the girl on the corner but she'll never be wife material.

I'm looking at getting one of these, but I never used a hammer fired gun before. Can you decock the hammer while the safety is on so that there's no chance of it accidentally firing?

I think grip texture is great

Is this ideal for a shtf type of pistol with minimal cleaning, Kind of like a Glock or HK that could go thousands of rounds without cleaning❓

With the new release event this weekend I am very excited to see what they have to show us. As far as the PPS M2. It is my carry gun and it has been with me for the last 5 years cant say enough about it. If in the market you should try it.

I have the exact gun and it is amazing. very fast for a da/sa accurate as hell. and the tigger pull weights we're on the test target.

I'm all about Israel. And I love Israeli weapons. IWI is tops in my book. It's IWI, then everybody else. Walther is my second favorite. If Walther was only Israeli lol....truthfully Walther makes the best handguns. They're PDT is off the charts. But the Masada is a fantastic handgun. The trigger is a really good trigger. It's highly highly accurate. The most accurate pistol I've fired. I recommend everyone I've talked to, to go get themselves a Masada. The price makes it a must have.

I need your help please: I bought a new one of these, and after several rounds, it started to fail. (It fires 2 to 3 rounds and the bullet gets stuck in the chamber) It's frustrating to have such an EXPENSIVE gun, and it doesn't work like the others. At first a little dirt fell on it, but I cleaned and lubricated it and it still has the same failure. (S&W9 2.0 Metal Version) What could it be?

Don’t be apologetic at all sir, I must admit I was one of the biggest skeptic of Shadow Systems the first heard about them. The whole “Glock Clone” thing just didn’t sit right with me. I figured if you want a “Gucci Glock“ just build one. That’s when I caught myself that Glock simply doesn’t offer that option for its wide fan-customer base. It really changed for me until a buddy of mine pulled up to the range and had one shooting day and had a MR920 threaded barrel with a RMR TRIJICON sight and a Sure Fire light on it. The second I felt that gun in my hands. I know something was totally different from the Glock 19 once I gripped it in my hands with the mag well that I’ve come to find out was stock on it. The first couple of shots was simply magical. It was as if it was my personal gun the way from the first shots I took were all A zone from about 15ft. If your are a Glock fan, swallow your pride and shoot one. You will not be disappointed, it’s simply the gun you’d wish Glock would make from the factory without you having to do so on your own.

I shot Glocks since '99. Two years ago, probably close to when this video was put out, switched over to the Shadow Systems MR920 Combat. I own a total of five, all from the discontinued, (as of 2024), Combat Line. All have at least 1600 rounds through each of them, (not a particularly high round count), and all through PMags. Save for a few FTF's on a couple of them during the advertised break in period, and a warranty trigger replacement on one of the MR920's during said break in period, the guns have run as reliably as any of my previously owned Glocks. As far as I'm concerned these are the "Gen6" upgrade.😎✌

I just ordered a Taurus TX22 competition and gave a few more days before I can get it. My first Taurus was a TX22 and than a TX22 COMPACT with a Riton red dot and I love them and I also like Walthers handguns my first was a PPS, PDP F 3-1/2 " , PDP 5", WMP, PPQ M2 22LR and I like them all.

Thanks for a great video. I like the shootability of the PPS M2. The recoil impulse is smooth and allows for extended high round count range sessions. Mine went full auto and had to go back to Walther for servicing. I’ve had no problems since getting it back last year. I changed the sights and added a Galloway magazine extension for seven round capacity with reduced height to use in IDPA BUG.

Seeing how I respect You, your chanel & your opinion. How do You think the Platypus 5”/9mm would do against this Sig 226 x5? Even if You haven’t shot the Platypus, would like to hear your thoughts……👊🏻

I carry the PPS 40 cal. It is a great firearm that has been reliable. It is my hiking and camping gun, you can't go wrong with a 40, for wildlife defense. Out of all my firearms, the PPS is my favorite to carry. It feels good in the hands and it is accurate. I have thought about buying a PPS, M2 but waiting to see what happens with the PPS M3. It would be cool, if Walther came out with a double stack PPS 45 acp. That I would buy as soon as it hit the market.

A fine piece of equipment like a Rolex watch. I have been shooting 22 Rimfire since i was 10 years old I'm 80 years young now it's so much more fun now shooting my volquartsen black mamba i added a C mor red dot sight i live in the Tennessee mountains have my own range shooting mostly steel this pistol is so accurate i sometimes get bored because i hardly never miss now thats worth every penny especially for a 80 year old. Thank you volquartsen....😊

Question about the grip texture for the standard 365xl So this may sound nasty but I get really bad dry skin and over time due to the nature of the grip texture being a little sharp and aggressive almost sandpaper like its caught a bunch of my dead skin onto the texture and I cant clean it off. If I try wiping it down with a microfiber towel nothing happens, I use a regular paper towel then small chunks of the paper towel fall out into the texture as well, I tried using just scrubbing and light water and that was no use, I even got some sticky putty to try and get those pieces out but theres no result. At the end it sounds nasty but I just have dead skin built up on the grip to the point where the grip almost looks light gray instead of black on one side. Does anybody have any advice or ideas I can use to try and clean it for getting it to look black and normal again?
