Got A BD for Christmas. My first 45 ACP pistol and I love it! Picked up a 75 B that already had the Cajun trigger job and soon after found a 75 D compact PCR and that became my EDC. Love the CZs!!!

Bought one 3 years ago. At the time it took almost a year and half to find one. I've been shooting it for some time now and can say its extremely accurate and im amaze how soft shooting it is. Its like shooting a 380.

I just bought one. Only had a chance to put 3 mags through it so far. I am not sure about it being as soft as 380. But it definitely feels as soft as a heavy frame 9mm.

Great video, maybe now that CZ owns COLT and 51% of Dan Wesson, they have all the 45 acp"s they need lol. the CZ 97 was made for the American market in 1997 when we had the 10 round limit. With all CZs the model number is the first year they were made..

Guess was fortunate in just Getting one on a whim about 6 months back.. Had never really checked into CZ but had just sold my Dan Wesson Pointman which I never really liked .Was actually looking for another Sig 220. Checked reviews on the CZ and saw it to be a very comparable to the 220 but somewhat more affordable. I have actually yet to shoot the CZ, Hopefully will soon but the gun is very comfortable and extremely well made.

Well I did join the minority of folks that picked up the 97BD Yes the cost of the mags are steep . Sad to see CZ's decision on this one. The mags are Mecgar. There is a Tanfoglio clone of this firearm. The mags are plentiful for it, again Mecgar. I don't follow why CZ couldn't sell this one. It is a range/competitive use which didn't catch on. I really wonder how many they made. A Louisiana based company Cajun Gunworks founded their company on the 97. They are a great bunch of folks that know their CZ's. Mine is an accurate soft shooter. BTW check how much they are going for now on GB.

Last September I picked up a 97B along with a 40 cal baby Eagle. Love them both. The Cz 97B is my favorite handgun right now. I paid 675.00 for it. The shop took 50.00 off :)
My shooting buddy wanted one since I picked up mine but until since, we never seen another until 3 weeks ago. He snatched it up for 700.00 even. A gun I'm sure neither of us will ever sell!
I also picked up a third mag back in December for around 50.00 at Optics Planet. Now, they are 61.00 and are on extended back order.

I carried my 75B in .40 S&W concealed until I got one in 9mm. At some point, I'd like to add one in .45 ACP. This model handgun is the most comfortable for me to grip, and it's not especially difficult to carry in a good holster and belt.

The decocker (BD) does mess with the trigger pull though. The extra action is messing with the DA. Aftermarket parts can help but it'll still be a bit worse than the 97B.
