Eric you are the best explaining tuner on the globe😊
No dynos! Click bait trash channel.
No bikes were harmed in the making of this video....... 😂jk
its always interesting to hear people speak what a dyno graph is showing
Sexy bike. I will take the seat off your hands
That sound
NO bikes were dyno'd in this video.
Exactly, because the title of the video is the announcement of the dyno day that will happen on DECEMBER 14.
Be patient my man, it’s a coming 😄.
Something that can get near to 200 in that amount of seconds is amazing
We agree and that's why we love doing what we do! 🙌
How does this compare to the yoshimura AT2 in fit and finish?
Very similar. It's different but overall I'd say very similar quality and fit/finish 🤙
And that is why I sent mine to 2 wheel dyno works..😂😂
@xdrive8860 usually we make high 150s. The exhaust is highly restrictive... I'll make a video showing this because clearly people aren't understanding this lol
Why are the US spec bikes so heavily restricted? In NZ any current stock 1000cc superbike dyno’s at approximately 180 wheel horsepower with no modifications, GSXR, R1 etc.
@ST-kq9py because the US sucks ass! 😅 ours are usually in the 160s/low 170s before taking restrictions off. They started implementing the restrictions back in 2007 with the r1 and r6 and then the zx10 was restricted in 2011 and up. The gsxr1000 started getting restricted starting 2017 and up. It sucks, truly does, but it keeps me in business I guess. Kind of a double edged sword 🤔
Should have made more power unless this dyno is a bit of a heart breaker. The MT-10's (first and second generation) typically put down between 152-157whp and 78-80tq with a cat delete and flash/tune, just like this one has as can be seen in the video. The OEM header flows just as well as the Graves header. This has been tested by others online which showed no power improvement between the OEM header and the Graves.
@jeremylescalleet7356 usually we make high 150s. The black widow exhaust is highly restrictive... I'll make a video showing this because clearly people aren't understanding this lol
@@provenpowercycles Ah, I thought you were referring to the OEM header as the restrictive portion. A video explaining why the Black Widow is a poor choice would be great!
@jeremylescalleet7356 yeah I guess I missed the point in the short. It would have been beneficial for me to go over WHY power wasn't what it should have been. But hindsight is always 20/20 lol
@@provenpowercycles It's all clear now!
@jeremylescalleet7356 no worries man lol there is so much that goes on day to day that I forget to include the audience in a lot of it! Hard to film and work all the time haha
Greetings, As always another excellent detailed video production 🇺🇲🍾🎉🇺🇲 Did you have to adjust the chain after lowering. Thank you so much for assisting me and keep producing more videos about the HAYABUSA
@@rosarioroberto5823 I don't remember on this one. I'd say always check chain slack when making chassis changes 👍👍 and we got a pretty cool busa vid coming up!
Thank you for the quick response, can't wait to see it @@provenpowercycles
Ive ridden nearly every bike ever made ranging from the M1000RR/Fireblade RR-R to the V8 cammed Boss Hoss and everything in between. To me, the GSXR750 is the worlds best sportbike. Lighter than 90% of the 600s, while being nearly as fast as the mid 2000s liter bikes. Dead reliable, no electronic BS, affordable, and exceptionally balanced.
@jordanjoestar8839 it's funny you are saying this because I tell people all the time the 750 is one of my favorite bikes due to the overall balance, weight, power, etc. Such a fun bike to go thrash on! 💪
Hows the exhaust restrictive? I have austin racing gpr on my 24 and it only made 145 hp
It's not restrictive. The most popular exhaust combination for these bikes (and the R1's) is the OEM header with a 3/4 system just like what's shown in this video. They usually make upwards of 150whp with this exhaust setup and a flash/tune.
@delilahzx10r47 A/R is not restrictive. The black widow exhaust is. The header flows great. The slip on, however, has a reducer in it, causing a weaker power band in higher rpm.
I just cut my breadbox leaving the catalytic and installed a fake akrapovic exhaust and I'm amazed with the sound aside from too much backfire in it. How to get rid of the backfire pls?
Install block off plates for the pair valve assembly. That will help it out a good amount 🤙
nice video, I am a bit confused EU model bone stock are more powerful ? because I am confused. Nice video A+++
@@andreaskostis9828 EU models aren't as restricted as the US based models.
I am not impressed with the sprint air filters. They don't do a really good job at the filter part.
@moorepower13 eh I agree with your point. We plan on keeping a diverse array of filters in stock. Mainly sprint and DNA
What color are the over size bearings?
What tune did you use ??, was it Stock with just pipe & Filter ??
@elithegreat6463 I utilize woolich racing to do most of my tuning/ecu flashing. Stock motor, just the exhaust and air filter were only mods installed on this one 🤙
158 hp thats it
Great video! Those are nice gains on the mods that it has on it. Are you tuning on 93 octane?
@alwaysboosting9764 yes this was tuned on 93 pump gas 👍
“Bone stock” does not equal full exhaust
@@daytonasayswhat9333 bone stock VS full exhaust.
@ sorry about that.
@daytonasayswhat9333 no worries 👍
Like the color on the gixxer, nice gains and exhaust, another good one guys👍🏻
@@tbrowning9643 thank you sir🙌🙏
The exhaust is a beauty😊
Also where y’all located
They are located in St. Petersburg, Florida
@@ChrisSmith-bc7mh Saint Petersburg, FL
Have a 07 zx14 what exhaust would you recommend I have a dual Coffman exhaust on it looking to do a full exhaust
Brocks
@ChrisSmith-bc7mh brocks is really dominant in the bigger displacement engines. They produce good numbers and are one of the cleanest looking systems for those bikes.
Love your team commodity. Great video 💪🏿
@antownemercer7552 thank you 🤙
With a few proper mods that's going to be a sweet Gixxer. Those wheels are dope in a sea of boring black ass wheeled bikes.
@peytonhibdon7659 I agree! We tried to talk him into a few more mods but he didn't want to go too much further than what we did lol
Arrow exhaust is loud needs silencer installed
😂
SWEET COLORED ZX
They don’t allow fuels like Mr-12 in sbk competition. That’s just a street gixxer. Maybe he does track days, but no actual circuit track racer bothers with mr12. Chain should be adjusted on a stock swingarm with 1.25-1.5” of slack. Period. It’s not about opinion, it’s about mechanical correct slack for full suspension articulation. 🫡🤜🤛👍
Looks and sounds SO much better - that's a brilliant shaped curve 👍🏻
@@nickrider5220 thank you for the compliment 🤙🙌
you have the same shoes as me
@lilcheesecracker9480 😅😅 good observation
GSXR 1000 is such good machine too bad is so uncomfortable for any long ride.
Actually it the most comfortable sportbike made... one that isn't is the BMW 1000rr.
Thanks for taking of me guys she ripping it pretty hard now
@talasain3210 hell yeah man! We appreciate you coming in and choosing us 🙏 🙌
Love them Gixers 👍
Very impressed with your shop and quality work. Question, do you guys work on Ducati V4s?
@SierraOperator I haven't gotten the chance to tune one yet but as far as mechanical work goes, we don't work on ducatis.
Hey i ride with that bike 🫡🫡. Great tune! Cant wait to bring you guys my bike 👀
Dang! 160mph in 4th!
Anytime I take my motorcycle to the shop I make sure it is spotless. My bike has never had that much dirt on it ever
I run mine slightly looser than recommended. As long as I don’t hear it bouncing on the bumps. Too tight can stress parts of bike not good
How much horsepower
180hp at 13.6k rpm
Looks like 179 point something. Not a ton for a tuned r1
Wow made the same hp as a GSXR 750 😅😅😅
It's the exhaust. Unfortunately it is highly restrictive on this engine.
This is the same combination which everyone runs on the MT-10's and it typically yields 5-10whp more than this one made. Not sure what you believe is highly restrictive in terms of the exhaust here.
@jeremylescalleet7356 no it's not actually. I've tuned quiet a few mt-10s and this is the first time I've done one with a black widow slip on system. There is a point on the exhaust right by muffler where it steps down to basically a 40mm opening. That will cause a lot of back pressure and lack in power up top.
@provenpowercycles By "same setup" I'm referring to the OEM header with a cat delete or 3/4 system. When you said the exhaust was highly restrictive, I took that to mean the remaining OEM portion, not the aftermarket portion. No that its clear what you meant, it makes more sense.
@jeremylescalleet7356 no worries I should have explained better I'm the short. Just hard to do so in 60seconds haha
Better show us if it will gain for changing stock chain to lightweght 3DZ chain
Hey I have a zx10 that I’ve been wanting to get tuned by you guys, but I’ve also heard that a lot of Kawasaki have a problem with the quick shifter/auto blip after the tune can you explain this? Plz thx 🙏 and how do you guys come back this? Do you guys keep the DSL stock would it be considered that as a solution I’m just wondering
Can you test aluminum sprocket vs steel? On the dyno
I just replaced my headers for the delkevic headers. The diameter is smaller on the delkevic than the stock headers.
Dynojet is has always been too rich, even their carb kits are complete junk. I don't get the love for their horrible kits.
Manufacturers recommend to clean and lube chains every 600 miles
