So today, we are working with a brand new ZX10r that came in completely stock. Our goal is obviously to make more power out of this bike, so here is what we did. After doing some base pulls, we tore the tank off, we removed the zx10r airbox and swapped out the exhaust with an M4 exhaust. In the airbox, we swapped out the stock filter for a p08 sprint filter. Another thing we did is install brocks block off plates and removed the unnecessary items we don't need anymore. Also, we show a little tip of how to remove zx10r air box. Once everything was installed and updated on this motorcycle, we throw it on the dyno for a custom dyno tune. As always, we're able to show how much power a M4 exhaust can produce and then compare it to the horsepower numbers after a custom tune specific to the bike. Again, custom tuning your motorcycle on the dyno will allow us to make small changes to ensure the BEST performance out of YOUR bike. Every motorcycle is a little different which means a basic mail in ECU flash won't give you the best results you could get. Very very impressive. I want to hear more about this making the valves run hot.? I haven’t 636. I flashed the ECU and I’ve done the marble. Is there any danger of hurting my engine with this modification? any help or advice from anyone would be very appreciated

I bought a ‘24 ZX10R KRT back in March. I put the exact same exhaust on mine last week and just dropped in a P08 yesterday. My plan was to get all the mods done that I could do myself before I have it tuned and flashed. I love this bike. It’s handling and performance is awesome. But I gotta say the 188HP in the video was a little disappointing. I hope to get closer to 200 hp. Thank you for the video.

@@aRe6ixno, not my bike in the video. I was referring to the gains on the bike in the video and how I have the same mods on mine except I haven’t had a flash yet. I’m wondering if velocity stacks would be worth the money to squeeze out more power and get more in the 200hp ballpark when it does get flashed and tuned.
@jaygill3658 yeah we were hoping for a tad more. *Normally* we see around 190-193whp for similar mods. Who knows maybe rings need to settle more 🤷🏾♂️
Do a cam install video with dyno numbers on a stock cam vs krt or some other aftermarket cam.

Only problem is at 13-14000 rpm in first gear is 100mph so when will you ever be at top rpm in 2nd through 6th ???

Would there be away to get the check engine light off?
@davidallen3406 there are no check wngine lights once I'm finished. They only trip during the tuning process since front wheel isn't spinning. The wheel speed sensors trip and freaks the ecu out.

what's the max you've got from a zx10r..??
210whp on a stock motor so far. It was tuned on MR12 not pump gas.

@AST4EVER the project bike laid out 201whp on pump and didn't tune yet on mr12. Waiting on some stuff but going back up on dyno soon to check and make sure it's good to go 🤙

Hrp? I have gotten 201whp on my zx10r. Has a 2022 motor in it but we did make 201 whp on 93 pump gas 👍

What more really can u do to gain more power
Filter, Exhaust, Stacks are the only real ways to increase power.
Once that's done. You're left with E85/MR12, and reduce weight.
After that? Gotta break into engine and use better components to either increase displacement OR increase Revs.
Why do you dyno bikes in 4th gear?
@user-qh5cz6fc4n we do 4th and 5th gear dyno runs. It depends on gearing and setup of the bike. Basically you want to find which gear is closest to 1:1 ratio. The reason for that is when you fo the mapping the tune will be close all in all per gear since the ratios are all different. Different loads cause mapping to be slightly different per gear. 👍👍
188 is low.. they can easily make 197hp!
With the right dyno anything is possible.
