Hey there! I know it must be so frustrating, how slowwwwww the healing is going and the idea of eating little micro-meals more often. Especially when your stomach is like "uh, I don't think so." Still, you look good, and this long road of healing is still healing! Also, it occurred to me that there's a lot of room in between where you are now and feeling "normal" one day. I'm guessing somewhere in the middle of that, you'll be plenty good to go back to work. That's what I'm praying for. One day at a time, one bite at a time. You're doing great!

Is it common to have trouble eating after this kind of surgery?

Good to see you! You look good, but I know it's super frustrating to not be able to get back to work as soon as you wanted. Think of how freaking happy your co-workers are going to be once you DO get back!! Glad the immunotherapy is going well. Thinking of you and still praying for you, even though I've been in paper-grading quicksand. Haha.

Brett, my husband had all of his stomach removed a little over a year ago and he is still not eating really good but it is getting better. Praying that yours will be better soon we used to go to church with your mom and dad and love them a lot .keep the faith.

😊Surprise, Surprise!! Didn’t expect an update, BUT good to see you and hear your voice!! You are a “trooper” for tolerating all the prep and clean-up required for that feeding tube, in addition to being chained to it for such a long time each day, , BUT thankful for a way to get your nutrition when you cannot eat enough calories. You have been/are an awesome person to be able to handle all of this for all these months! Keep trying and you WILL make it with prayers from your friends and family and God’s healing touch. No words are adequate enough to express how very much I love you, Brett. Call if you need us!!! Mom 🌻🙏🏻

Thanks for the video. I for one would like more, it doesn't have to be something new, just let us know that you're ok and hanging in there. I know it seems never ending but it won't last forever. My g-grandson is 6 Weeks old today and still in the hospital. But it seems kike things have turned around. If nothing else happens hell probably get to go home next week. PTL. I'm still praying for you and I know there are many others who are also. Love you. Keep your positive attitude, that really helps with healing. 💜🙏😍

I had a big Senior Moment, and forgot your dad's birthday. I even called your mom three days before it to be sure I had the correct date, and then I forgot it! I felt so bad and the tears were rolling down my face. Lynn said to let it go. Roger knows we love him. We just spent an afternoon with them, as Lynn helped your dad put together a new piece of furniture. I took a picture of them working together to put in his birthday card, the one that never was sent! I hope someone came and mowed your yard for you. Hello lovely man. Immunotherapy should attack the naughty cells using your own body. Clever stuff. So glad you were able to go ahead. Ye hah indeed for the scan results. Reflux is flipping rotten but it will improve I promise. The yacking is unpleasant but not as bad as a stomach flu. Once the offending food or drink has reappeared you feel better. Chicken is the worst for digestion, that's why you can't zap it in a blender and get a smooth result. Main thing i yack!!!
