- Pretty regular update with a short story added. Suggested by Stef… one of my dearest friends… about how we met. Cool story that could have been MUCH longer! Hope ya like the update and my rambling version of a cool story. Thanks for stopping by!

She is actually English originally then moved to Australia after she met Dean, her husband.
Hey there. I got lucky twice really. I met Dan in London NYE 1998. He was going skiing in Austria in February 1999 and invited me along. We left the snow a day early and travelled to Salzburg (remember The Sound of Music movie?) He proposed on a a famous bridge there 6 weeks after we met.
After he died in July 2000 I tried to stay in our London home but I was in bad shape. I moved a few hours South around mid 2001 and bought an apartment in a new but small complex. Visited NY and LI for Bridget's wedding (one of the friends in the picture Brett shared) and then returned to the UK. I was at Windows on the World twice a few weeks before 9/11. Also sat in the Virgin Atlantic cockpit for landing back in the London 😮. There's a story there too. Bizarre really.
Dean moved into the same complex and we got chatting and had drinks. He'd been in a 15yr relationship which had ended about a year prior. He'd never wanted to get married or have children, but I made it clear I wanted kids. Also told him I was moving to Australia (and there's a MASSIVE back story to this involving my late husband), and he said he'd always thought about emigrating there. He proposed 9 days later which put his friends and family into utter shock. We had a small intimate wedding in Mauritius October 2002 and Jed was born end of September 2003. We emigrated to Perth in March 2005 when I was 28wks pregnant with Finn. Jamie arrived in Feb 2007 They are now 19 (doing a 4 year course in Electrotechnology) 18 (at Uni doing BSc Cybersecurity) and 16 (Yr.11 at school and hoping to to go to Uni to study Architecture and Design). Dean and I will celebrate our 21st Wedding Anniversary this year. I don't know what fates brought the most caring Brett into my life, but I'm sure there was a reason as he's always been in my thoughts. Oh and I can be a cynic around people as life throws a few lessons now and then, but Brett is a good'un as we say. Much love from Australia. Happy to connect with anyone on FB.
