- It always seems like a good time for an update when tests, medicine bag changes, and new drain dressings coincide. As usual it was the perfect storm of medical things to keep me awake long enough to just stay awake. Currently catching up on pain meds so that won’t last long. Hope you enjoy!

You're doing amazingly well 😊 Looking and sounding stronger all the time. Clear fluids next? Be great if they allowed you some bone broth - like a consomme. You can buy it, or make it super easily. It was on my list after stomach surgery a fews yrs back. Extremely nutritious xxx
Well I had several jars of bone broth I had made to bring, but since I didn’t get out of ICU before Mom and Dad headed back home I had them take it with them back home. I tried! My last stay here makes me nervous with the things they attempted to feed me. Well, we shall see in a bit. Right now, my pain meds are finally catching up to where I need them to be and typing is getting tough… more laterz! 😜👍❤️❤️❤️
