Hmm I have a C8 with non NPP exhaust but recently picked up a factory Z51 exhaust. So far my research tells me that I cant just bolt it on and expect it to work like a Z51 car. So I am looking to manually switch my retrofitted Z51 exhaust and wondering what it will take to do that. As far as I can tell no one has done this and posted how they did it. Do you have any recommendations?

Looking for how to do this on a 2014 C7 which does not have the stealth setting. When driving mode is in sport or track the exhaust valves are open and i am looking to wire a switch to close them, but cant do what you have because in mine the circuit is open. Any suggestions?

Any chance you saw a gromet or access point to get into the cabin from the frunk? looking to run an accessory and trying to get as much info as possible.

Thanks so much for this video! Doing my dash replacements today. Both sides started to delaminate a couple months ago within a few days of each other. Just got the airbag swapped over, which was a pain. Now for the re-assembly. This would have been much, much harder without your video.

Burn outs are a waste of tires, hard on the drive train and generally performed by less mature enthusiasts. I prefer the car that hooks hard and flat out rips. Just my 2 cents worth. Just took delivery of my new 2024 Z06 HTC and that car absolutely rips. So fun to drive and you don’t need speeds that will land you in prison. I Love It. I enjoy your channel, especially the technical how to’s. Thanks.

I’m not sure if it was mentioned in the video or not, but to my knowledge, the AFM cylinder deactivation and the AFM exhaust valves only applies to cars with automatic transmissions. If I recall correctly, I saw this in my 2023 Camaro owner’s manual or the performance supplement. As a side note, I have a Chevy 1500 with the 5.3L 6speed trans. and my practice for deactivating AFM is to shift to manual 5. I use this setting for in town driving at speeds generally under 55mph. Otherwise, on the highway, I just put it in drive and live with it.

I am brining my C08 into the dealer as the "P"arking button does not spring out correctly and the bottom temperature control button needs to be replaced. How long of a job do you think this should take? GM sent brand new parts for both issues and thankfully it is all under warrantee. Do you think 2 days is reasonable time to fix? Thanks for the amazing video. What state do you work out of?

I did mine on my C8 today and it stuck but it also show the whole area that the glue was spreaded. Suck but it looks better then bubbles I suppose

that is a functioning USB port (not just a charging port) in the storage behind the screen. I have a USB in there now that plays my music.

Stock C8 has an even spacing around all 4 tires. They look good. Lowering will create an uneven spacing around the tires which cannot be considered as good looking.

The center section behind the display do you think it's possible to get to the 7 bolts by taking the upper dash apart then lifting the and poping clips and not taking glove box apart and so on?

Have been looking at a 2019 Zo6 c7 manual or a c8 3lt. I think a zo6 is way cooler, especially being a manual. Sure, the c8 is more capable, but it has a lot more nanny, tec. They are about the same, 75k. If money was no option, sure, the 160k c8 zo6 would be cool. Or the even better c8 Zr1 when it comes out. But for 75k a 2019 manual c7 zo6 seems pretty cool.

You need to compare apples to apples. I’d rather have a c7 z06 than a c8 . But I’d rather have a C8 Z06 ( and I do ) than a C7 Z06

Hey, very much appreciate this video and the detail you go into - very helpful! I respectfully want to correct some terminology. Corvettes have not had a front-engine layout since 1962. Since the C2, they have all been mid-engined. There is front-mid-engine and rear-mid-engine, which means the engine is between the axles and either in front of or behind the occupants. C8 has the first production rear-mid-engine layout. Front-engine and rear-engine layouts have the engine above axles and biased more toward the end of the vehicle, giving it a wider moment of inertia and less responsive handling. Holley put out a really good article on this and I hope everybody will read it. It's titled: Don't Call the C8 Corvette "Mid-Engined"
