  • I've had a lot of people message/asking me how to do this. Please keep in mind, this is a fairly/semi difficult task and you must be extremely careful if you do this. I do not condone it to be honest, but this is how to get wires into he engine bay from the passenger compartment on a C8 Corvette. Enjoy.

Truly, that was extremely helpful. And I will be running the wires as what you say the right way. I am thinking about getting them along the wiring harness by using a small fiberglass rod which is thin enough but still pretty stiff to then push it through and then pull the wires back from the engine side front into the cabin. And yes I am working with a Z51. And you are right we want to be able to control and enhance the engine bay with red LED's along the fenders. We live just outside Gatlinburg, TN, it's a tourist town and we drive through town almost every weekend. I have never seen a car getting more attention then the C8 does and the folks like to look in and see the engine. Again, thanks for the help, it's much appreciated.

Your videos are truly helpful!! Question : For the small trim piece next to the waterfall speaker grill that your press down on at 32:06 ? Are there clips above the carpet? Mine is currently out of alignment after a dealer tech replaced a speaker and im hoping i can fix it without going back to the dealership. Thank you in advance for your help!!

I am thinking of removing the bottom tunnel panel, running fused wires from the battery straight to the engine compartment. Wires in a loom for abrasion protection. That way all is isolated from the vehicle electronics and is fused at the battery if anything shorts.
