What's In Beb's Toolbag?
Просмотров 5362 года назад
Today, we're going to be taking a look at the tools I use on a daily basis to fix many of the issues that can happen at a fabrication shop. If you're a homegamer or DIYer looking for a tool loadout that can fix just about anything, I think you'll find this useful. You also don't need to get professional or "brand name" tools in fact, I recommend that people first starting out buy cheaper versio...
Hands 2 TMC2208 Driver Upgrade
Просмотров 1,8 тыс.3 года назад
Today we'll be upgrading the Tenlog Hands 2 printer to use TMC2208 Stepper Motor Drivers. This should make the printer much quieter when compared to the current A4988 drivers. The procedure will basically be the same for any Tenlog printer, but you will need to make sure you choose the proper firmware to upload. To find the Firmware Burner and Firmware Downloads go here: www.tenlog3d.com/downlo...
How to Calibrate a Tenlog Printer's Nozzle Offsets
Просмотров 8 тыс.3 года назад
This video is to help calibrate the IDEX extruders on Tenlog printers so that they work perfectly together when doing dual color prints. Although the machine should be calibrated from the factory, sometimes they made need some adjustments due to an endstop being moved, or who knows what else. Thanks for watching and I hope this helps! Click the link below if you need to download the files from ...
How to set temperature on a Tenlog Hands 2
Просмотров 3653 года назад
So I made a mistake in my previous video about the Tenlog Hands 2 printer. There is actually a way to set nozzle/bed temperature when the filament runs out. So here's a short correction video.

Today we'll take a look at the Tenlog Hands 2 3D printer, with independent dual extrusion capabilities. I have to say, I am really impressed with this machine, and will continue to use it and update viewers with how it holds up. I hope you enjoy, and thanks for watching! Cut Scene!! It's called a cut scene when you break away from the main storyline to show something else. I knew I'd get it.
BCZAMD Hardened Steel Nozzle Retrial
Просмотров 4144 года назад
Today well be taking a look at the BCZAMD Hardened Steel Nozzle. This nozzle was sent to me as a replacement for the defective one that I originally ordered. I tried using the original nozzle on several different materials and it would always fail when about halfway through the second layer, I'm happy to report the replacement nozzle doesn't have this issue, and prints very well. Thanks for wat...
Trying out Sunlu Carbon Fiber PLA
Просмотров 17 тыс.4 года назад
Today we'll be taking a look at Sunlu's Carbon Fiber PLA. This is a filament I've never tried before, and was expecting a steep learning curve. I was surprised to find that not only does it print with normal PLA settings, but it prints extremely well. My only bad experience was with a bad steel nozzle, but that has since been amended and a separate video on that should be up soon. Full disclosu...
JG Aurora A5 Repair - Part 4 - Bed Leveling and First Print
Просмотров 2364 года назад
Today is the final installment of the repair portion of the JG Aurora project. This video mostly consists of the unbelievable battle with a warped bed, although I think "distorted" is a better word for what happens when you attempt to adjust it. In the end the firmware update with manual mesh bed leveling was what saved the day, so I highly recommend you check out the following links if you're ...
JG Aurora A5 Repair- Part 3 -Assembly and Motion
Просмотров 3244 года назад
Today's installment of the JG Aurora repair is going to be pretty straightforward, we'll be reassembling the machine and doing a basic motion test. In the next episode things will get a lot more....... interesting, as another problem makes itself known. Thanks for watching, and if you like this video, make sure you check out the entire series on this project, and subscribe to my channel!
JG Aurora A5 Repair- Part 2 -Power Supply
Просмотров 5074 года назад
Today we'll knock out the first "major" repair of the JG Aurora A5 printer- the dreaded power supply failure. Dramatics aside, what makes this type of failure so bad is a: they totally kill your printer, and b: these types of PSUs fail OFTEN! Like, "keep a spare on hand to swap out" kind of often. Luckily for us, the failure is predictable enough that repairing it is trivial. If you've got a so...
JG Aurora A5 Repair- Part1 -Unboxing and Inspection
Просмотров 2534 года назад
Today we get our first look at a "new-to-me" JG Aurora A5 Printer. Much like my FL Sun printer, this one was also purchased as "broken" with very little information on the actual condition. Fortunately, this time round it looks like it will be a lot less work to get this unit back to printing! There won't be a whole lot to this unboxing, just a rough inventory of parts, a quick look at the prin...
Shop Tour

If you've ever wondered what exactly it is that I do for a living, today is your lucky day! I'll start with a little bit of history of the shop, then we'll have a look around the individual buildings. I would have loved to go into greater detail on a lot of the different equipment we use, but I think my luck is already getting pushed to i limits for the length of this video. If you'd like to kn...
Circuit Specialists Triple Output Power Supply Review

Today we'll take a look at the PPS2320A Triple Output Power Supply from Circuit Specialists. I've been using this PSU for a few months now and I find it works perfectly for what I do on the bench. While the features and specs won't exactly knock your socks off, it has proven to be a reliable workhorse that hasn't let me down. If you would like to see a teardown of this unit, or would like to kn...

100 SUBSCRIBERS! New Camera! Oh and Digital Multimeter Basics
Hey man, i dig the video and the info, but i gotta ask, i hear an alarm, then i hear what sounds like someone screaming for their lives. Yeah man, we could party! Lol
That's just the guys in the machine shop downstairs, screaming to be released. In all seriousness, if I remember correctly, the alarm and screaming sound is some oddly shaped parts that they were machining.
@@bebsrepairbench5074 yeah, I heard the machining after a little bit. Just thought it was funny.
Yellow fluke 83👍
Thanks, do you have schematic diagram of this display unit?
I got my 87-iii for 100$ and that’s stria deal
I have this bad boy but dont know much. How do I print duel colors
Have you downloaded the Cura slicer that comes with the printer?
Es seguro imprimir ???
That sound is annoying as hell
we cannot hear the audio
Haha just repaired my scope and ripped out the exact same pad
Many thanks! Very useful video. I got a HP 54600A from by brother-in-law about 10 years ago and it had the same issue. After replacing those two capacitors I got it finally fixed!
strange as my DM-44 is just sat on zero... no red LED ms or us just 0 on the display. nothing happens.. any ideas ???
Please check it under load.. put your Rigol scope on the input to scope while it is on, look at ripple. The power supply looks small for that scope.

the green one is a brymen rebrand
the yellow one is a t.e.s rebrand
hey beb, is there any way to contact you via chat?
is it still working ?
It is! I don't use it for soldering work much, but the hot air gun is used almost daily for a variety of things.
wow thats great it still works i bought one that is unbranded but the same hope it lasts a few years thanks for getting back to me
Are you using wristband with earth, 0DC😮
2:49 it's T15, not T10 Thank you for this video, saved mine from a landfill
thinkin of buying carbon fiber nylon for my sunlu s8 pro hpping i dont need to mod, website says it works fine no changes needed to printer, i feel like i got the biggest beat prinyer for cheapest price hah
The S8 is a great machine, I use mine with only a couple of mods to make it easier to use. I think nylon may be a challenge for it, though. An enclosure is a huge help, and glue stick on a bare glass bed usually works well for small parts. I would recommend Magigoo for larger parts. And the filament needs to be dried before printing.
Hola, se agradece el video, que multimetro de fluke u otra exelente marca se puden considerar para electrónica
you would be far better served using caig fader lube in any potentiometer. wd-40 is bad juju on those.
Esa es un copia
I have a problem on my 87v lead flushing except when the selector point in uA and Amps.
Does this beep on doide mode?
Very helpful presentation ❤❤❤❤
Hi. I'm from Portugal and I have a jgaurora A5 and I'm having a problem with slippage in printing. Would you have any way to share her behavior, to help me understand what her problem is?
What kind of slippage? Is it skipping steps during printing?
I know it’s been three years but can you link the AC adapter? I just got my hands on this oscilloscope and am trying to find a suitable cable.
Tendras alguno para vender yque este en perfecta funcion como el 260 3?
I bought the Tenlog D3 Pro. It’s my first printer. It’s not a plug-and-play machine, but tweaking it has been fun and not too hard.
Hi How important the polarization angle is? How do I determinate the polarization angle? Many thanx
Subsriber 700👌🏼
Thank you for the screen protector advice
im an old tv repairman and the high voltage lead going to the crt is the anode lead.
Hello my friend, 3 days ago I bought the same Simpson 260 Series 3 multimeter. I discovered the broken fuse, a desoldered diode. Although I fixed it and now measured, I think the previous owner moved the potentiometers. Can you help me calibrate it, because in R*100 and R*1 the measurements are not correct. I tested the resistors with a Fluke 77 tester. Best regards.
lovin how i have the exact same problem rn and that led me to dicscovering ur channel💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
spoken like a true blue "full-of-himself" American. When will it end?
i see both have 4 input ports(sorry if i used wrong word),there are less ports multi meters out there.what is better ?
Normally meters with 4 input jacks are going to be better if you need to measure very small currents. It really depends on what your needs are.
@@bebsrepairbench5074 thanks.
I am assuming Z axis calibration is same concept. My 20x20x20 block is more like 20x20x40
That sounds like it should be adjusted in the settings for "steps/mm". At those dimensions, dividing the current z axis steps/mm would be a good starting point.
Thank you for this. Exactly what I needed to get my sawmill with the Kohler 14hp up and running.
I'm glad it helped!
I found mine in like new condition and still had the sticker on the screen, picked it up at a pawn shop for $65. I tried to talk them down but they said it was just put out there. I was going to buy it anyway of course.
Foolish Goober!
@2:47 Hostel?
Just a quick question, the EXACT same thing happened to my Isobar Tripp-Lite surge protector...did you end up going with a fast blow fuse or a slow blow fuse?
I googled the part number on the fuse and got an exact replacement. I don't remember if it was slow blow or not, but the surge protector is still working fine.
Dude that’s a sweet deal. Keeping an eye out.
It's Real, The Fluke 87 V is a Very Very good tester, i love forever this Tool of Fluke,.❤️
I have the same model monitor, which developed same, blinking issue. Switched out failed caps, & problem sorted. It pays to harvest components, as the 820uF caps aren't available, from any bricks 'n mortar store, in my country. But had same value ones, in my second hand stock. Been working perfectly, for over a week. Thx for sharing.
Super work 👍👍👍👍
Let me see if I can find it.
Sir... Can i use a iPhone polarizer film to repair motorcycle display??
Very nice. I was thinking of buying a used HP 54600B Oscilloscope. So, if something is wrong with it, there is a chance I can repair it by watching this video. Years ago, I got a hold of a Heathkit HW-101 transceiver and hams suggested replacing call the electrolytic caps and testing all the tubs. So, I replaced all the electrolytics and tested all the tubes. Only 1 tube was bad. Now, the Heathkit HW-101 transceiver works and I have made contacts on the air. This will be my first oscilloscope so it can help me learn electronics theory - I not only want to build stuff - I want design stuff too. So, thanks for your video.
