  • Today's installment of the JG Aurora repair is going to be pretty straightforward, we'll be reassembling the machine and doing a basic motion test. In the next episode things will get a lot more....... interesting, as another problem makes itself known.

    Do you know how to fix an x- axis not responding?

      @@anabeastish is it not moving at all, or will it move sometimes? Was it working at one time? Is the machine or firmware modified in any way?

      @@bebsrepairbench5074 it was working and then I tried to replace the nozzle and now it will only move to the right but not the left. Everything else seems to work fine. No mods or updates

      @@anabeastish it sounds like the home switch may be stuck. The machine would think that the x axis is as far left as it could go and would only allow it to move away from the switch. I got rid of the A5 a long time ago and don't remember exactly how it's set up, but that would be the first thing I check.
