  • I'm calling this meter "The Easy A" because multimeter repair doesn't get much easier then this. Admittedly, I couldn't have gotten much luckier, either.
After taking a shot in the dark and purchasing an eBay meter being sold "for parts" (but claimed to have "no issues" by the seller), I received this Greenlee 210A/Brymen 252S with what seemed like no response from the input jacks. Seems like a good opportunity to dig in and make a repair!
After a careful inspection the main problem turns out to be an easily fixable trace that looked to be blown out from a gross overload. With that solved, it gets a little more interesting as a second issue rears its head. When I replaced the milliamps fuse, the input jack error warning immediately flashes. Electrical gremlins like this can be a pain to track down at times, but my luck held up once again and a simple solder bridge repair on the mA jack proved to be the solution.
I think I'll use this meter for a while and then make a review of it to let everyone know if it turned out as handy as I think it will.
As always, thanks for watching, and if you like these kinds of things, be sure to subscribe and share!

I think he measured mains while it was plugged on amps and he ignored "Iner" beep message . Great video thanks !

It's possible, I would hope the fuse would have blown before damaging the meter. But crazier things have happened. Thanks for the good feedback!
