  • Today we get our first look at a "new-to-me" JG Aurora A5 Printer. Much like my FL Sun printer, this one was also purchased as "broken" with very little information on the actual condition. Fortunately, this time round it looks like it will be a lot less work to get this unit back to printing!
There won't be a whole lot to this unboxing, just a rough inventory of parts, a quick look at the printer for obvious damage, and an attempted power-on.
In the next episode, we'll get the power issue fixed and talk a little about the plan for that fire hazard of a heated bed connector.
Since I didn't get a chance to talk about my Instagram account, you should go follow me @bebsrepairbench!
Thanks for watching, be sure to subscribe to see the rest of this rebuild!

    "Absolutely nothing!" Love it 😂
Well, there's nothing worse than a repair bench with nothing to repair!

Exactly! How is a person supposed to learn if everything works out of the box? There's no fun if there's no mystery issue.

Thanks! I've been debating actually designing and building one entirely from scratch. That way i know exactly what's in the machine. But that's a very long term project.
