It was more the case of the machine programming, all the automatic buttonholes would come out different sizes 🤷🤷 Anyway, it's all in the past now as I've got a magical Brother machine which makes buttonholes on any fabric like there's no tomorrow 💖🥰

@Sloths.and.Orchids Bummer. You are right.Yikes, Grommets would not be a good idea😃. Not many alternatives there. I really like how you finished the sleeves and neckline. That "raw" finish is pretty neat. We have the same coloring. Naturally, the wardrobe colors are similar as well. I also think we live in similar weather conditions because your choice of staples are very relatable. I'm Seattle,WA. Rainy, gray and gloomy with an occasional sunshine.

Well that's handy, we must exchange wardrobe tips 😚 I think I have a slight olive underdone actually, even with my white skin.. English weather is pretty much the same all year around which means I'm only even sewing for one long season 😁

@Sloths.and.Orchids Its a pleasure to connect with you over sewing. A girl needs her sewing 🧵🪡village💃💃💃😄 Yes on the olive undertone, except I have brown eyes. And the olive is more prominent after getting a tan, so I do have to mind my colors for basics, that they can serve me throughout most seasons. You've done a great job though. Great balance of neutrals and colors. Something to aspire to for myself. I feel that I have been leaning towards neutrals heavily. Time to pull those colors from the stash!:)
