Purely clickbait topic. There is no "value", both are unfinished ships in unfinished game. Armour, hull penetration, components health, engineering are simply nonexistent. Any of these features by itself can make ship OP or worthless.

Paladin. Less crew, more nimble better combat, less versatility. Best it looks like a big brother Valkyrie

i believe since the paladin has a larger entrance elevator and lots of open space it can store a lot of un-grid storage this is more pirate friendly

Whatever the TAC brings to the table, the Paladin makes up for in size; y'all think bigger is better, until you're apart of a group, and that size becomes your luxurious coffin.

Man all these new ships are just reworked old designs and not actually new designed ships. Basically no design. Such dissapointment.

I’m pretty sure I will end up with a problem. Because I don’t think CIG takes a lot of things into account especially other ships. If you go to star jump pull up the MSR then pull up the Paladin make sure to send the MSR to the back, look at the size of the ship the MSR is bigger a good amount bigger. The MSR is also thick much like the Paladin. The MSR is civilian and the Paladin is military. In all aspects the Paladin should be faster, and handle better than the MSR. Unless CIG tells us the MSR is like a hot rod spaceship. And was made with speed and handling in. You have a lot of guns onthe Paladin but a lot of hi tech equipment on the MSR. Also if you look at many other ships in the size range of the Paladin I am thinking they are going to make the Paladin way to slow with subpar maneuverability. The third thing they will probably do is mess with the speed of the Tourette’s as far as how fast they move and rotate. CIG loves to sell mediocre ships. They have now thought of multiple tears of the same ships. I personally believe people buying from the pledge store should not have been purchasing the lowest tier in other words if there’s a five tier system purchasing in game would be the lowest tier. Purchasing on the pledge Store would be either one or two tier better from the bottom, which would set up in game earnings of the two to three highest tiers. I think the Tac is a very nice spect ship but I don’t want that big of a ship. The Paladin, Should run rings around the Tac. Because the Paladin is much smaller and military grade. The Tac is a very well rounded ship as far as doing many things and having a nice crew to run with friends.

Love the dual gatling turret on the heartseeker. Just wish gatlings were actually useful ingame. Don't think I can give up my F7A but I really do like the heartseeker. Hope the A can mount that turret. Slight correction though: Hornet series are Medium fighters, not heavy.

This comparison doesn't make sense to me. It's the same as comparing the carrack with the polaris. Regardless of size and price, these ships have different purposes/roles, so it's unfair to make a comparison between the two. Peace ✌🏻

How sure are you, that the pilot can controle the guns on the side?

Problem with these two ships is they serve very different roles. Pure combat, whether defensive or offensive the Paladin is great, simplified and ready to brawl. If you want versatility and a fuller roleplay, multi crew experience the TAC is excellent. For me personally the value is in the intended gameplay.

The Paladin is pretty expensive for it's size and loadout. I'm not sure what it is supposed to be good at, especially with the Super Hornet Mk 2 loadout.

Love the Heartseeker design! Bet she will be warbound 200 (220 non). Load her with four attritions and the stock top gatlings for some epic DPS. Now she isn't that overpowered as the gatlings will run hot so more for burst fire and that ammo will go quick too. Great design making the turret locked to avoid power creep. That extra shield looks great but she doesn't have the extra power to make it that effective beyond a shield sponge but won't regen very fast. She will be a great PvE ship but the F7A Hornet II and F8C Lighting will still be the PvP Kings. Lastly that 2nd seat make a great spot to ferry players looking for ride without worrying about getting shot. Be awesome if it could haul a bounty like the original designed SH MK I.

Magnificent. Such simple changes to lines and angles make the MKII look so much better than the MKIs.

This doesn't really apply to the hornet, it could maybe. but I've really been liking the Lightstrike laser cannon paired with the Broadsword ballistic cannons as a combo. not top dps but projectile speed makes them easy to hit with.

That's practically a S5 gun lol it's going to get nerfed after sales.

If you go to ERKUL switch to 4.01, you can see the differences 3x s1 Shields 1 size 2 Power Plant, this will push it to an effective ballistic platform! ALSO BARE IN MIND THE dps is without the turret weapon, which I believe isn't finalised yet!

It’s a medium fighter that has the firepower of a heavy fighter…which is why we expect it to get nerf after the sale is over.

I don't like how the guns sit under the wings. they look was too fragile.

I think they should have left the LTI in for the WBs, I get many will disagree but really just makes the WB worth it for made up insurance.
