I narrowed my fleet down to basically just the Reclaimer for salvaging, the MOLE for mining, the Starlancer MAX for hauling and all-rounder/daily driver and a Zeus ES for my run around ship. That's basically all I need.
I kind of picked my fleet base on ship synergy and role. I listened to your other video you were interest in base building I think. y not switch the galaxy to a starlancer build. your polaris have 500 scu of cargo and the medical bay without the need of modules. also bigger hangar, it is a straight upgrade to the galaxy. so polaris + hornet + vulture, for combat and combat salvage. I think both polaris and iron clade is fine. polaris if you want safe transport. iron clade if you just want to get it done fast. also iron clad can be used for ship transport. my last recommendation, is a starfarer. I think hydrogen is probably used to fuel the generator at base. also, starfarer have the onboard refinery. so you can refine your rare materials. for daily driver. I would say you can just daily drive the polaris. ai blade will be in game soon. honestly, I want to daily drive my most expensive ship. Polaris + hornet + vulture for combat salvage, exploration, gathering resources. BLD(galaxy) + crucible + ironclad +starfarer for base building, cargo transferring, ship repairing, material refine for crafting or refueling. also you have the vulture, so you can repair your capital ship for free at base. al
Ironclade has a huge potentiel in money making. I bouht with Store credit a10 year Ironclade to try it and got a CCU from my Corsair if i like it I also bought a F8C instead of Guardian. I also would look after the Vanguard Warbringer for a Heavy fighter with a bed and good firepower (she was a loan ship with Perseus) I spent 60 USD for an intrepid package And 250 USD for a Stralancer max 10 minutes ago ^^
I bought CCUs this IAE... All I ever buy. But several of my chains are at the point where they basically can't be improved and it just more about choosing what direction I want to take them closer to 1.0. My fleet, excluding LTI tokens, is basically a Corsair and a Cutter. The Corsair is obviously on the chopping block now but I kind of don't want to commit to a Taurus, Andromeda, or Aquilla as the replacement yet (obviously I could just go to the Taurus for now and upgrade in future though it would unoptimized my chain a little). I also enjoy the Buccaneer loaner that comes with the Corsair. What I am considering doing is applying CCUs to a few LTI ships, just up to good jumping off points, while leaving as much flexibility as possible... For example most my best chains go through a Prospector at some point so applying to one and stopping there is pretty safe move. I have one of the "retaliator bomber" to eclipse CCUs (that now applies to regular "Retaliator") so going up to a retaliator or Eclipse may be a no brainer for now ~ even though it looks like torps won't be in the meta based on 4.0 pricing. 😆 I also have a good path to any of the Connies that goes through a Vulture which I have $35 off of from when the ship was Concept. So go up to a vulture? The extra details: My Corsair is actually an upgraded part of my 2013 LTI 300i starter pack with Squadron 42 but I have confirmed with support that the package is eligible for buy-back if I do melt it. The Corsair also wasn't purchased with a CCU chain. I went straight from a 300i to a Cutlass and then to a concept Corsair, not saving nearly as much money as I could these days, so when they messed with the Corsair it really became tempting. But I imagine the package my not remain eligible for buyback once squadron comes out? (They probably don't want people to play squadron and then melt it when they are done.) My Concierge is from after the cut-off when Squadron was included... Though actually maybe I get it as a veteran backer reward I know it says "squadron 42 mission disk" in my hanger though I don't really remember what that is. (I believe it's S42 episodes 1 and/or 2 for people who backed before 5 or 6 million and is separate from the game package?? 🤔)
Really good topic here, with the changing prices it really locks in some CCU chains, I would say the vulture is really easy to get in-game ( you can rent it now) and I would go retaliator over eclipse. Keep the sq42 game pack for now, as I'm not sure what they will plan to do for release.
@@ZyvhurStudios Yep, if prices resemble anything like today for 1.0 the vulture doesn't make sense as a website purchase UEC/$ ratio wise (plus we'll be getting more salvage ships coming). The vulture does sort of make sense in my chains as I wait and decide which Connie size ship ($10 can make a Taurus or $20 an Andromeda). If the vulture remains one of the best legal money making routes (I honestly hope it doesn't... Give higher payouts to the higher risk professions.) I would be temped to turn the Corsair into one and just buy the Taurus in game, but then as soon I do upgrade that vulture I would lose my fighter and I have no intentions of buying a fighter with real money until balance is much more finalized. For now I might just sit on the Corsair and just buy the cheap vulture in game.
My wheelhouse is combat so I'll examine it for that. Polaris as your General Purpose Big Deal Warship and heavy transport. Galaxy to do the intermediate hauling, away vessel with spawn points, making ammo, missiles, torps. Vulture to get cash and get lots of ship goo store in the Polaris to fix damage, feed the hangar repair gear. Fighter lives in the Polaris. Spirit and Zeus for GP ships. 600i seems unnecessary. Starlancers into Ironclad and Guardian sounds reasonable and useful. I run a dedicated battle fleet. Polaris for Capital/Mother Ship, Perseus as heavy attack craft, Paladin as daily driver/mobile battle apartment, Galaxy for support/misc, F7AM2 primary fighter, Hawk special purpose light fighter. Gonna put them all at the org's disposal. Firepower for every situation. The rest can be bought in game, though eventually there will be a shuffle or more purchases to include the Endeavor as a FOB.
The only reason I still have my 600i explorer is because of the amount of useful features the golden pass is adding, such as a t2 med bed and tank garage. Other than that, a medium salvage ship is a good idea for a trade should it release before then.
Yea, same here. My 600i sits mostly idle, waiting for the overhaul. I am hoping it will blossom into a nice multi-roll explorer if I am patient enough.
@@joemichaud5704 Emphasis on "patient", sad that we still have no news on when its coming. However its going from a 2 storey ship to a 3 storey, no other ship has done that so who knows how long it will take.
My only selling point for the Ironclad is that it should be able to fit a Prospector, which could mean that it may fit a Prospector and Fortune. Making it a carrier for those and other combat craft. The Vulture should be too tall according to the shared specs.
💯. I had Vulture concerns with the Odyssey (Vulture seems too long) and I'm hoping the Fortune is Prospector-sized like they teased so I've got peace of mind it will fit. I wish the Vulture conformed to small size hangar metrics, it's a bit of a wildcard for ship fitment.
@ I definitely wish the Vulture would fit into more ships but it’s design is counter productive to that. If the Odyssey has a similar hangar to the Polaris it should be good. However, I am having an issue in 4.0 eptu with the Vulture not staying in my Polaris
@@Guardian_Templar That sucks, hopefully they can fix that soon. Is there a lot of room in the hangar with the Vulture in there? I know the Odyssey hangar is tall based on the greybox they showed, but the length of the Vulture could be the most problematic factor. Who knows though, lots could change.
nice request, if posted on spectrum i would have responded there. as for building and crafting ect. the galaxy module will be delayed to some time far after the pioneer is released. as it wasnt initially an idea for ship building, and was a mistake on the 2023 presentations. however the ship team lead said that due to many purchases of the ship for this specific reasons they will build a building module. however it is not currently in concept let alone productions. where the galaxy and its cargo, medical, and refinery modules are in productions. as the ship it self is past gray box and clost to evo testing, and the modules are past white box i believe, and should be hitting gary box soon in the next couple of months. with that being said and coming of ship insurance reflectively taking 4-10 days for capital reclamations and 1-4 days for large. having a 2nd galaxy or 2nd polaris is not a bad idea. where upgrading the 400i to 600i for component crafting ect, is also a really good idea. however medium ship hauling is balanced around the raft now with 96scu. the spirit c1 is below that line, and the zuse mk2 cl is above that line. meanwhile some things slightly larger like the rsi tarus is 196scu. so getting the 600i for exploration+crafting+passenger... GJ (I would keep it!!! as it flys as good as a constellation and better after rework +tier bonuses down the line. as 1 of few ships that fills 3 rolls) getting the starlancer max x2 for cargo+shop sales... also GJ BUT... yes,.. the starlancer max going to ironclad is also a good idea with the 1500scu of cargo being about 200 more then a hullc but capable of landing on the ground for direct deliveries. as large and capital combat ships needing double for insurance and reclamations is mostly for combat roll ships. so if you upgrade 1 of the starlancer max's to an ironclad. then you dont need the 2nd one for fleet command. so the 2nd starlancer max is your upgrade ship, not the 600I. where if you keep the 600i and have an ironclad. you also dont need an E1 spirit, C1 spirit, nor the zuse mk2 cl. so... #1 I would upgrade the zuse mk2 cl to a zuse mk2 MR, which is doable at time of release. then you have bounty+interdictions for fleetcommand. #2 I would consider upgrading the C1 spirit to a prospector, as the prospector is still the best miner in game at the moment, if you change its bags. then you have bounty zusemk2mr, interdiction zusemk2mr, cargo ironclad, market ironclad, exploration 600i, passenger 600i, crafting 600i, refinery galaxy, mining prospector, salvage vulture. also zuse has fuel efficacy of a small ship, but with 2 bispoke medium/large hydrogen tanks and 2 bispoke medium/large quantum tanks. so you dont need a starter ship at all of you have a zuse. which means you can even upgrade the intrepid and the F7c hornet mk2 if you desired to something a bit more fun, like a base line saber stealth stealth fighters, less mass then an arrow + best spherical cross section which could get better in future tiers. and the 2nd is... legionnarie a boarding ship with hacking capabilities and drop ship. then you can add light fighter stealth, hacking and troop deployment to list of possible rolls. also if you upgrade the 2nd starlancer max to a 2nd galaxy. the galaxy has a command deck and will be much cheeper to run fleet command then using the polaris. but i do not recommend this. and here is why... you forgot 1 ship on your ship list. assuming you have sq42... if you have all the ships listed above, then when you complete sq42 you get a free F8m lightning valued at 295. and just like citizen con tokens, referal rewards, other achievements and promotional claims. such as the syth, the hoverquad, the dragonfly stinger or dragonfly black. you cant crunch them, but you can ccu upgrade them. where by the time the galaxy builder module is ready to release, it is probable you might have beaten sq42 for the F8m achievement already. and could then warbond upgrade the F8m to a galaxy+builder for 35 dollars. and that would be my suggested 2nd galaxy for you. 1 as refinery, 1 as builder. always having a sub capital fleet command ship, as well as versital rolls for the galaxy, because modulation will not be swapable in game, till after full release. beta 1.0 and on is not full release. as active live release 1.5 is when they are do to pickup the ship modification shop feature, which include in game swapping of ship modules. so that wont be an in game feature till like 2029/2030. so you can still upgrade the 2nd starlancer max to something else. maybe even an 2nd ironclad. then instead of 1500scu of storage, you have 3000 with fleet command when flying with one of your galaxy. those are my recommendations.
oh and if you do get a legionnarie... dont worry about if it fits in the ironclad, or if it fits in the polaris, or if it fits in the galaxy. its a boarding ship. once docked onto a docking collar it becomes a parasite and goes whereever the host ship does. so the legionnarie could even dock with a zuse, and the zuse could fly around with it and warp with it on the hip. which will be important for transporting injured players and ai npcs ship to ship in deep space. and not just for breaching or ground troop deployments. even from something as small as an aurora mr
Thanks for the detailed breakdown. I'll definitely consider those suggestions, the MR, and prospector would probably be better money makers, now I have the Starlancer I don't really need that many smaller cargo ships, maybe keep one a lot to consider if I do end up like the guardian.
My suggestions…. And last time I was correct on what the BLD was gonna be and suggested the Starlancer was going to fill roles. I’m gonna foo foo the 600i. Sorry man. It’s a long time from useful. The 600i I’d swap for your Ironclad. But NOT an assault. It requires too much crew. The 2 Starlancers I’d swap for the BLD and the TAC. The BLD because the Galaxy won’t be buildy for a while and yer gonna want to build, BUT the Galaxy can handle more cargo than the MAX. The TAC can be every bit of combat you want, it’s got medical, it can run bunkers, it’s got a fighter, it still has 96 SCU cargo and can still fit vehicles. You don’t need a Nursa so you can have a STV and another wheeled vehicle. Because it’ll fit 2 Jeep sized vehicles. After that, if you got the F7A variant , apply it and that’s the only fighter you need. The rest is GTG! If a bigger salvager comes along, CCU from something, probably the C1.
Oh ok theses are really good suggestions, I also think they will drop the ironclad sooner than any 600i update, and I think the TAC or BLD was one of the other silhouettes so they would come sooner too.
I am having a hard time cutting my fleet down. I want it to sit at 8 to 10 ships. I want to do PvP, light salvage, bounty hunting, Merc. and bunk, medical, small cargo and exploration. So it’s kinda hard to cut down when I am looking to do 7 to 8 game loops. One hard call is the F7C or the F8C along with Firebird for a stealth ship, I am leaning toward the F8C for the looks, lore and firepower. The second thing is I am going to use the MSR and a C1 Spirit for the cargo, and or the MSR holds a medical Ursa for medical and I also have the medical Terrapin so two ships for that roll plus a Ursa. I have a Vulture for salvage and I would like a mid size ship for this. A Zeus SE and MR for expedition and bounty hunting. But I also have a 600i for long expedition. And the rework may have the medical bed and a lot more cargo, but when is that gonna happen? My heavy fighter is a vanguard warden, I really love the ship I bunker run in it and it holds a pulse with a cargo crate for me. For fun I bought an Intrepid and being the sick sick dreamer I seem to be I really want a Paladin gunship and that makes me mad at myself but I can’t help it. So that’s what I am looking At and that is 4 to 5 ships and vehicles above 10 ships.
@ I am really trying to stay away from big ships but the Ironclad is scratching at my brain hard! I hope to keep the 600i as my biggest. And I hope they update it soon. Have a great day man take care and great content.
I got a CCU to Arrastra from Galaxy. Arrastra is probably a ways off so I'll have the Carrack then Galaxy for a bit. I'm going to CCU the Starlancer Max to the BLD and I've got my Zeus. Hopefully the BLD isn't too much more than the Max, I don't want to melt my Zeus. The Arrastra upgrade with some store credit and a 20% off coupon cost $1.50. What I'm aiming for is having ships that'll be good for base building. Arrastra would be great for building your smaller resource outposts because you can mine your own materials and carry smaller base building vehicles.
Hi.🙂 If i had your fleet i would make a couple of changes. I would upgrade the C1 to a Prospector. This because having multiple types of moneymaking ships is a good idea. If cargorunning or salvage doesnt pay much, you can swap to mining. I would also considder on a future plan to get a repairship. Aegis Vulcan or a Anvil Crucible, or other repairships that may come in the future.
I know the feeling, i like them both aswell. A ship that looks like the C1 but with the ladder entrance and cockpit view from the Zeus would be amazing.
Ended up going with the CL myself. Yes the cargo grid is a pain, but I love everything else about that ship. The interior and the ease of access with the multiple exits/entrances really sold it for me.
I would drop the 400i and tali. One isnt very good the other is very niche for a solo. Maybe add a Aquila so you have combat/exploration and a Liberator. That lib is going to be the bees knees for solos. Put your vulture and F7 on it and use it as a base. 400 scu. Maybe a vulcan or a small refuler if they ever make one lol.
Narrowed mine down to Razor EX, Buccaneer, Cutty Black, Pisces R, Nursa, Prospector, Vulture, Starlancer Max, & Polaris. I think that's where I'll sit for the foreseeable future. Don't know if that gives you any help or no. I have a couple of Merlin's, Cutter's and a Raft but I may just gift those to friends. Kinda just based on how many people in the org are around on any given day.
I was disappointed in the Starlancer. It looks great, but the cargo doesn't load particularly easy with 2 SCU tall containers due to it's low clearances, and the mail slot visibility is just bad. I'm sure it's a fun ship to travel with a small group of players - it looks like it's straight out of a movie or show - but I wouldn't use it for cargo, certainly not if you're considering the Ironclad. I think that one is going to end up the cargo king, and should be able to transport other ships possibly up as large as the Vulture. With the Vulture's limited QT range, that opens up a lot of options. The 600i I see similarly to the Starlancer: a large, nice-looking ship for a small group of players that can do multiple game loops, but isn't particularly good at any save possibly passenger transport. Like you, I am also considering the Guardian for 1) it has a bed/interior, 2) it's not a Vanguard. My big question I have for it is what kind of QT range it can get. I do believe there is an upcoming MISC salvage ship, the Fortune, which should be similarly sized to the Prospector FYI. I can't really opine on the Galaxy except for the drama on it's construction module, but I am afraid for all of you Polaris owners with the forthcoming price increase on the torpedoes. I also have the C1 Spirit, upgraded from my game package ship, in order to kick off patches with some cargo running. I like it more than the Zeus for Crusader's interior design language (not the doors) and IMO easier loading. Of course I have my Hornet Mk2 for any combat gameplay and that it's an SC icon, but I also think big ship gameplay is going to be end up more fun than little ship gameplay thanks to SC's game-y physics and master modes which I think will make tactics more important than pilot skill. I fell for the Ironclad during Invictus - that will be my primary money-maker, but also a means to transport ships and vehicles around the verse. I also got the F8C Lightning during this IAE, but it's disappointed me - it's the least maneuverable heavy fighter despite not having an interior or gimmick S7 weapon. So depending on how this Guardian turns out, the F8 will be replaced so I may better explore Pyro. Anything bigger than the Ironclad...well I'll just crew my buddy's Polaris, Idris, or Javelin. I do dream of Kraken space carrier ops, but I don't have enough friends to justify that. Anything else, like the Vulture and other future low crew-requirement ships, I'll buy in-game.
I agree that sometimes it can get annoying when u hit the roof constantly, however for as long as cargo doesn't really damage your ship off grid too much right now, you can use pretty much all the off grid area in the max including the catwalk to fit around 400 scu in the starlancer max!
If you are an org player you are fine, if you are a solo player you need to think really a hard about those big ships. Repair ,re-arm and re-fuel are going be expensive to be are never going into be cheap. Ai Blades and NPC crew while functional are also money sinks.
I love the idea of the Liberator. Melted my Galaxy and Vanguard for it. 400I has never felt worth it for me personally but the 600I rework could be massive. I may pick up the Hornet again I love it but that back tail spoiler bugs me and it too high lol. I love the Starlancers and how you changed your fleet. I’d add an Anvil Paladin even if it gets nerfed for a two man defensive brawler ship if you’re into brawling combat.
I think passenger gameplay is a real elephant in the room for that 600i. Since NPCs are now post-1.0, I can't see us getting passenger gameplay until after that sometime. It might be worth considering an upgrade from the 600 into the Ironclad. Especially if you think you might not use the exploration module. The extra Starlancer and C1 are in a good position to be upgrade candidates to your future salvage and heavy fighter. I think that might be the most cost-effective way to get everything. You can keep the intrepid or melt it if needed (credit to boost the C1 to the heavy fighter perhaps). If you think you might want to do any scouting, that intrepid can turn into a 315p easily. You could even go for the Cutter Scout and throw the spare credit elsewhere.
Yeah I think the ironclad will end up being the real money maker, and I want to make a in-game fleet video that would certainly include something like the scout :)
I sit on a lot of CCUs, and only a few ships. Personally I am shifting to more small crew vessels 2-3 and away from anything with 4+. Holding a BMM as ship and an Arrastra CCU chain, everything else is Connie and smaller. I do not trust CIG with engineering implementation.
Yeah I think so too, love the 600i but that ironclad is gonna be a real money maker, I also want to make an in-game ship fleet video, that I think would certainly include something like the scout :)
My thought on your c1 vs your zeus causes some redundancy there is nothing the c1 can do that the Zeus can’t you really don’t need both the Zeus would make an excellent daily of up ccu that cu probably to become the guardian
i feel like your missing a quality missile boat firebird or phoenix or MIS or shrike or the improved gladiator your also missing all these must haves C8R and nursa should be in every fleet missing medical like endeavor or apollo missing a ship that can dampen like the blue or zues mr or mantis missing a ship that can emp like the warlock or centennial or MR missing Data and hacking ships like herold or MSR or carrack missing a vulture that can fuel and repair missing stealth like a ghost or firebird dont really need exploration because all ships can explore to some degree but if you want the the games king tier explorer you need the carrack imagine if you traded your polaris for a percius!! you still have a command ship but you can have a loaner polaris! and with savings try to get an endeavor? see how some of these ships overlap making them more valuable?
Well my plan with medical is the galaxy, other than that I think my fleets biggest other weakness is probably a mining ship, if I want to do more crafting
Stop messing around with tiny entry level cargo ship lol get a ccu chain to a hull d!!! It's only $50 more then hull c. And the loaner for it is an arrow c2 hercules and a hull c!!!! And when it drops you will be able to move 20,000 scu making you real money to buy all those small ships. I got mine from a chain I started this iae and still saved $225 Think of the videos you can make with a c2 and hull c right now
If you do go for the ironclad, you'll already be going for a the entry of big cargo ships. If you like it, I'd go for the Hull C. Hull D? You'll need dedicated loaders with you and some serious escorts, otherwise you'll be pirated without mercy.
when are you going to trade your C1 for a black???? i know the black is ugly but its the goat for a reason!!!! 4 pilot guns! bigger cargo space for larger ships!!! like put a nursa with wheels in a black or an nursa with no wheels in a c1 lol. and a black is cheaper for its much better gameplay!!! the 600i is a internal beauty i think the exterior is ugly and its not a terrible ship but its luxury tax is mind numbingly to high it like going to the grocery store and paying for milk 18 dollars because it came from a happy cow!!!! lol i have over $10,000 dollars in this game and even i dont have a 600 i because its like a statement! i sniff my farts and everyone likes it!!! if you want me to think you have a lambo in the mansion and a new only fans model over every night then yes keep your 600i lol 600i is a capable ship but look at any ship that it competes with can out perform it it in every way!!! like a phoenix would beat a 6001 in every aspect! and save a lot of money!!! an corsair can beat it in every way... i can pit any ship against an 600 i and you would outperform the 600i i would bump your 600i to a ironclad!!! i think it is absolutely wrong melt an endeavor... the endeavor will be day 1s MVP the first print you find you can research... it will take months of asset acquisition to build a ground base and for massive orgs you will need massive rent cost for shields and org to build a space station months later but people with 2 or 3 endeavors have all the space station they need.... the endeavor may gain valu of about 1000 dollars upon release as it will be a million more time useful than a pioneer especially since you have a galaxy!!! later in game when you find yourself with a real base you wont need a endeavor anymore and you can sell it for 20 million credits to go toward your next best ship!!! bump your starlancer max to a phoenix!!! upgrade your F7C to a ghost and put all the same weapons on and get a boost to stealth? upgrade your zeus cl to an MR!!! upgrade your intrepid to a gradian.... i think you would get more use out of a stealth ship like firebird!!! i think the gradian will cume up short from the hype i dont think the garian will be in the 200s maybe close to a hornet cost or rather than guardian try the paladin? hold onto your intrepid because it has a game package did you know every additional game package you get gets you a NPC loaner blade... because we have to wait 4 years for NPCs every NPC you have will get you a loaner blade!!! the ither advantage to having game packages is you are granted a NPC with max reputation these NPCs will start day 1 super shitty skill but a dedicated NPC can learn up to 3 skills to max level if you invest in enough time and training into them... NPCs you hire in game will cost you based on a scale and be better day 1 but they never improve!!! if you want to improve them then you use your reputation to get access to higher quality NPCs. NPCs dedicated to you, you pay for insurance and they are ready to meet you in your ship! if NPC is hired in game and dies you must go to the location to hire NPC and find a new NPC and pay the new contract fee!!! its hard to say how much to pay your dedicated NPCs because it has to be enough to keep the reputation up or if to low the rep might diminish and start neglecting duties..... i have 13 game packages and 5 accounts this means i have 12 dedicated NPCs and 4 possible trustees to inherit my empire in case of death of space man is some way a thing i know i could just have 1 account but i hear the death space man will be a heafty cost but rumor is with an alternative account the penalty might be less.. not confirmed or denied... i also want to give 2 accounts away to my brother and my nephew...
I narrowed my fleet down to basically just the Reclaimer for salvaging, the MOLE for mining, the Starlancer MAX for hauling and all-rounder/daily driver and a Zeus ES for my run around ship. That's basically all I need.
Ngl I’m jealous of that lineup. Wish I started earlier so I could start CCUing 1-2 years ago. Aren’t you missing a good fighter in your fleet tho?
@Not_Zulu that's probably the last piece I need.
The look of your fleet and fleet decisions you have made are solid. Good job.
I think its a great combo. you can do bounty and salvage, thats 500 scu worth on salvage. plus you will have the polaris to guard your vulture while salaging. when ai blade comes in you wont think about the heavy fighter, you have the polaris.
if you are interested in base building, say you get the BLD or galaxy with module. BLD will build large building. Galaxy will be less, maybe slower or smaller. but CIG say it will not be as good as a BLD. lets say you can build a large hanger but not a XL. you need to service your polaris. why not a crucible. crucible is large you can store it in the hanger. but polaris is XL, you might need the pioneer to build that. if you store your loot at your base. you need a ship to move it.
I bouht with Store credit a10 year Ironclade to try it and got a CCU from my Corsair if i like it
I also bought a F8C instead of Guardian.
I also would look after the Vanguard Warbringer for a Heavy fighter with a bed and good firepower (she was a loan ship with Perseus)
I spent 60 USD for an intrepid package
And 250 USD for a Stralancer max 10 minutes ago ^^
Nice! I'm really enjoying the MAX I think you will too :)
@@ZyvhurStudios My goal is to try the Taurus and the Stralancer in order to choose which to keep later.
@@ZyvhurStudios Your were right, the feeling is amazing. A true mobile home

The extra details:
My Corsair is actually an upgraded part of my 2013 LTI 300i starter pack with Squadron 42 but I have confirmed with support that the package is eligible for buy-back if I do melt it.
Very nice setup!
The only reason I still have my 600i explorer is because of the amount of useful features the golden pass is adding, such as a t2 med bed and tank garage. Other than that, a medium salvage ship is a good idea for a trade should it release before then.
Yeah, the 600i is an interesting ship that will be really nice for a lot of fleet out there. Should be quite versatile.
I feel like if I just keep Nagging CIG for one they just might actually make it
My only selling point for the Ironclad is that it should be able to fit a Prospector, which could mean that it may fit a Prospector and Fortune.
Who knows though, lots could change.
nice request, if posted on spectrum i would have responded there.
as for building and crafting ect. the galaxy module will be delayed to some time far after the pioneer is released. as it wasnt initially an idea for ship building, and was a mistake on the 2023 presentations. however the ship team lead said that due to many purchases of the ship for this specific reasons they will build a building module. however it is not currently in concept let alone productions. where the galaxy and its cargo, medical, and refinery modules are in productions. as the ship it self is past gray box and clost to evo testing, and the modules are past white box i believe, and should be hitting gary box soon in the next couple of months.
with that being said and coming of ship insurance reflectively taking 4-10 days for capital reclamations and 1-4 days for large. having a 2nd galaxy or 2nd polaris is not a bad idea. where upgrading the 400i to 600i for component crafting ect, is also a really good idea.
however medium ship hauling is balanced around the raft now with 96scu. the spirit c1 is below that line, and the zuse mk2 cl is above that line. meanwhile some things slightly larger like the rsi tarus is 196scu.
so
getting the 600i for exploration+crafting+passenger...
GJ (I would keep it!!! as it flys as good as a constellation and better after rework +tier bonuses down the line. as 1 of few ships that fills 3 rolls)
getting the starlancer max x2 for cargo+shop sales... also GJ BUT...
yes,.. the starlancer max going to ironclad is also a good idea with the 1500scu of cargo being about 200 more then a hullc but capable of landing on the ground for direct deliveries. as large and capital combat ships needing double for insurance and reclamations is mostly for combat roll ships. so if you upgrade 1 of the starlancer max's to an ironclad. then you dont need the 2nd one for fleet command. so the 2nd starlancer max is your upgrade ship, not the 600I.
where if you keep the 600i and have an ironclad. you also dont need an E1 spirit, C1 spirit, nor the zuse mk2 cl.
@@ZyvhurStudios happy to help
I feel like I'm in the same boat, I also really like your ship selection!
That sounds very good, I think base building will be every important in the game overall
The prospector is a really good suggestion honestly! thanks :)
I have personally been fighting the urge to own both a Spirit C1 and a Zeus CL. They are both awesome but there is a huge overlap in functionality.
I know the feeling, i like them both aswell. A ship that looks like the C1 but with the ladder entrance and cockpit view from the Zeus would be amazing.
I too failed fighting this same urge
Ended up going with the CL myself. Yes the cargo grid is a pain, but I love everything else about that ship. The interior and the ease of access with the multiple exits/entrances really sold it for me.
Yeah right now I like having them both but will probably keep the Zeus in the end
I would drop the 400i and tali. One isnt very good the other is very niche for a solo.
Maybe add a Aquila so you have combat/exploration and a Liberator.
That lib is going to be the bees knees for solos. Put your vulture and F7 on it and use it as a base. 400 scu. Maybe a vulcan or a small refuler if they ever make one lol.
the Lib is another really good suggestion
Narrowed mine down to Razor EX, Buccaneer, Cutty Black, Pisces R, Nursa, Prospector, Vulture, Starlancer Max, & Polaris. I think that's where I'll sit for the foreseeable future. Don't know if that gives you any help or no. I have a couple of Merlin's, Cutter's and a Raft but I may just gift those to friends. Kinda just based on how many people in the org are around on any given day.
Sounds like a pretty solid fleet you've got there! :)
Yes I'm very interesting in the guardian for the same reasons hopefully its still cheaper than the F8
I agree that sometimes it can get annoying when u hit the roof constantly, however for as long as cargo doesn't really damage your ship off grid too much right now, you can use pretty much all the off grid area in the max including the catwalk to fit around 400 scu in the starlancer max!
I really wish we got an update on the 600i rework this IAE but unfortunately I don’t think cig have it in the plans anytime soon
me too! me too
If you are an org player you are fine, if you are a solo player you need to think really a hard about those big ships.
I always read good things about the Lib, people really seem to like what it can do so that might be a real consideration
Right either you on the Lib. I went from a Mustang to a Cutlass Black straight to a Lib when it dropped.
What program are you using as a background with the ship icons??
fleet viewer, you can access it by going to hanger.link :)
I do not trust CIG with engineering implementation.
my fleet is narrowed down to just a Polaris and Perseus!
Public Speaking Tip. The Uh, and Um's need taken out. Just Pause and Think. Love the Videos!
Upgrade one of the Starlancers to the ironclad.
Yeah I think so too, love the 600i but that ironclad is gonna be a real money maker, I also want to make an in-game ship fleet video, that I think would certainly include something like the scout :)
No Reclaimer?
I still hope CIG release something in-between the reclaimer and vulture
If your generally a single player why do you have a Galaxy and Polaris?
You need to focus on ships that are manageable by a single player.
Well I plan on doing an org with the channel in the future
@ZyvhurStudios good luck then.
My thought on your c1 vs your zeus causes some redundancy there is nothing the c1 can do that the Zeus can’t you really don’t need both the Zeus would make an excellent daily of up ccu that cu probably to become the guardian
Yes It will most likely be melted for the guardian or ironclad
@ nice I like both those options
i feel like your missing a quality missile boat firebird or phoenix or MIS or shrike or the improved gladiator
your also missing all these must haves C8R and nursa should be in every fleet
missing medical like endeavor or apollo
missing a ship that can dampen like the blue or zues mr or mantis
missing a ship that can emp like the warlock or centennial or MR
missing Data and hacking ships like herold or MSR or carrack
missing a vulture that can fuel and repair
missing stealth like a ghost or firebird
dont really need exploration because all ships can explore to some degree but if you want the the games king tier explorer you need the carrack imagine if you traded your polaris for a percius!! you still have a command ship but you can have a loaner polaris! and with savings try to get an endeavor?
see how some of these ships overlap making them more valuable?
Well my plan with medical is the galaxy, other than that I think my fleets biggest other weakness is probably a mining ship, if I want to do more crafting
Stop messing around with tiny entry level cargo ship lol get a ccu chain to a hull d!!! It's only $50 more then hull c. And the loaner for it is an arrow c2 hercules and a hull c!!!! And when it drops you will be able to move 20,000 scu making you real money to buy all those small ships. I got mine from a chain I started this iae and still saved $225
Think of the videos you can make with a c2 and hull c right now
^Don’t do this. Hull D is going to be a nightmare to unload and solo. Pay attention to the video, he wants things he can more easily solo.
A big cargo ship may be in the cards but I will probably wait for now :)
4 pilot guns! bigger cargo space for larger ships!!! like put a nursa with wheels in a black or an nursa with no wheels in a c1 lol. and a black is cheaper for its much better gameplay!!!
the 600i is a internal beauty i think the exterior is ugly and its not a terrible ship but its luxury tax is mind numbingly to high it like going to the grocery store and paying for milk 18 dollars because it came from a happy cow!!!! lol i have over $10,000 dollars in this game and even i dont have a 600 i because its like a statement! i sniff my farts and everyone likes it!!! if you want me to think you have a lambo in the mansion and a new only fans model over every night then yes keep your 600i lol
600i is a capable ship but look at any ship that it competes with can out perform it it in every way!!! like a phoenix would beat a 6001 in every aspect! and save a lot of money!!! an corsair can beat it in every way... i can pit any ship against an 600 i and you would outperform the 600i
i would bump your 600i to a ironclad!!!
i think it is absolutely wrong melt an endeavor... the endeavor will be day 1s MVP the first print you find you can research... it will take months of asset acquisition to build a ground base and for massive orgs you will need massive rent cost for shields and org to build a space station months later but people with 2 or 3 endeavors have all the space station they need.... the endeavor may gain valu of about 1000 dollars upon release as it will be a million more time useful than a pioneer especially since you have a galaxy!!! later in game when you find yourself with a real base you wont need a endeavor anymore and you can sell it for 20 million credits to go toward your next best ship!!!
bump your starlancer max to a phoenix!!!
upgrade your F7C to a ghost and put all the same weapons on and get a boost to stealth?
upgrade your zeus cl to an MR!!!
upgrade your intrepid to a gradian.... i think you would get more use out of a stealth ship like firebird!!! i think the gradian will cume up short from the hype i dont think the garian will be in the 200s maybe close to a hornet cost or rather than guardian try the paladin? hold onto your intrepid because it has a game package
did you know every additional game package you get gets you a NPC loaner blade... because we have to wait 4 years for NPCs every NPC you have will get you a loaner blade!!! the ither advantage to having game packages is you are granted a NPC with max reputation these NPCs will start day 1 super shitty skill but a dedicated NPC can learn up to 3 skills to max level if you invest in enough time and training into them...
