Although I'm not a fan of mainstream Shojo manga, I make an exception for Sailor Moon and its predecessor, Codename Sailor V. I really enjoy this genre about strong heroines battling evil forces, girl empowerment, vitality, and comedy. I have fond memories of the DIC tv series(dubbed) in the mid 90s, but I'd prefer to watch the original Japanese version, English subtitled. As it should be seen. Special thanks to Naoko Takeuchi for making her dream a reality for her readers worldwide. If I could meet this renowned mangaka, I'd say, "Domo Arigato Gosaimas!" 🥰😺😸👍👍❤

UPDATE : One punch Man season 3 is being produced and will hopefully be released this year. A promo video was also released some time back by JC Staff and animation does look better compared to the second season! Here's hoping it will be as great as Season 1!

jc staffs good at run of the mill manga adaptions like low budget style isekais, but mangas lik opm are drawn too well for them to adapt...

Actualy the Toei part they met her and her publisher and told her if you make it a "sentai" we... make it an anime... it was Toei who asked her to add more characters.. because Toei wanted it to be like the "Super Sentai" tokusatsu series

I remember watching Sailor Moon back in 96 on USA network. I didn’t really like it (or I didn’t have an opinion on it? I don’t remember) as I was just 9-10 year old boy who disliked “girlie” things. But when it came to Toonami, I would watch it and I enjoyed it. At that time, I became fascinated with anime and I was desperate to watch any anime (as we didn’t have hi-speed internet yet so no video websites). I also watched it because it came on before DBZ. But yea, Sailor Moon is such a great series. Love it.

Not sure if you picked this up since your video released, but when Power was killed the contract Denji had with Pochita was broken, therefore Denji died and Pochita took his true form(the super powerful chainsaw man). Pochitas true form is what Makima kept referring to when talking about "the chainsaw man". Pochita went to eat a burger and go on a date to find reasons for Denji to keep on living. Since that didnt work Pochita asked Power to save Denji, and she essentially brought him back to life. This man has masterful writing underneath all the chaos

Fun Fact: The late Citypop singer Yukiko Okada also liked the manga Rose of Versailles. It still hurts thinking about Yukiko's passing even if it was all the way back in 1986. I think what Naoko Takeuchi created was a Masterpiece, regardless the Original Sailor Moon Dub had it’s ups and downs, the Live Action one from 2003 was only Season 1 based (Happy 20th Anniversary to PGSM from 2003 BTW 🥳🎉🌙). And Viz definitely had an improvement on the voice actors, and getting the lost episodes and the Season 5 Dub for the Original 90s Sailor Moon out in the Early 2010s, plus doing a Reboot Series that was shorter and 8n higher quality animation. So Thank You Naoko Takeuchi for creating Sailor Moon, an anime that would change the World that was a Masterpiece by all means, and Happy 31st Birthday/Anniversary to Usagi Tsukino/Sailor Moon in 2023 this year 🥳🎉🌙, and Happy 20th Anniversary to PGSM as well 🥳🎉🌙. May Sailor Moon live on as a Legendary Anime in History, Thank You Naoko Takeuchi for creating this Masterpiece 😌🙏🌙🌹

When it comes to anime my number 1 favorite is Sailor Moon 🌙

In Germany, it first aired in 1995. They only changed Usagi's name to Bunny, the other cast , including Usagi's family name, stayed the same. They did say that Haruka and Michiru were cousins, but did not censor out love so it felt as if both of them were trying to camouflage in front of others(as in of fear of backlash of friends) and not to censor out LGBT. Ever since the first episode, it was my dream to live in Japan - and I am living here today ! Speaking of fighting for your dreams! (oh, no erased Japanese on shops, flags etc. as well)
