K-Pop obsession with looks is scary, and it’s a cultural thing, not just K-Pop and it’s only gotten worse (especially when most idols dress and have the same haircolor/hairstyle, I actually have to try and figure out who’s who). But him comparing Le Sserafim and BlackPink just proves they made them to be BlackPink (which is funny and also messed up, because while BP definitely hasn’t really grown, mostly due to mismanagement, the girls were talented from day one). And if I were to be nasty like that CEO is, TXT feels like the BlackPink to 2NE1 with BTS (as in they feel like they were made to be the same kind of group, but with “Korean beauty Ideals” at the forefront, a big thing in 3 Gen K-Pop). But how he talks about NewJeans not only worries me, but confuses me…like isn’t that your group (and most successful by the way, am I wrong?) ? It feels like since they aren’t the main label’s group, they don’t like them, despite they aren’t only selling well, but are seemingly the most talented (I’m not judging talent, because idols nowadays don’t give raw performances anyways) group and have the most wide appeal overall. Even their concept has inspired the whole industry…their other groups feel like the exception. I don’t what this “terminate Hyoyoung’s contract” thing is all about, because she stayed with F-VE Dolls until disbandment. Actually, Chanmi got the short end of that stick, because she was forced to leave/kicked out, because there was a rumor going around she was a bully. I think HwaYoung likely was bullied, but not in a way that was to the point that could have be fixed in some sort of way (but it’s an opinion, not a statement)

I agree with those who said the CEO should've spoken up when it mattered, not now when everyone involved has taken a huge hit to their careers regardless if they were the perpetrators or not. Sorry but now this whole story makes sense, The CEO terminated the contract and left HwaYoung and her sister to go freely , and he said those were the bullies, why no legal consequences? You are a second generation kpop fan. That EXPLAINS A LOT. As a kpop hater I can see that the worst part of kpop is the fans. Nothing has changed. What does it say to you? A celebration is indeed appropriate for his turning a new leaf as a solo artist. But his latest number is mediocre. Unless there is a full album telling me I am wrong, I think his best days are behind him. TOP on the other hand, may be a blooming actor and his best days may be ahead. Especially now that he has cut ties with Big Bang, YG, and the kpop industry. I am rooting for him. His performance in Squid Game 2 looks great from the trailers that I have seen.
