I give a brutally honest review after a year of extensive use. This trailer is towable by small trucks and SUV's. How does it compate to an R-Pod, Grand Design, Lance, Coleman or other towable? IMO RRT are for getting into the back country to hunt, fish, hike etc. Get down some back country two track, set up for a day or two, do your thing, then move on to the next spot. I don't see these as the best option for a several day family camping vacation at a state park. Also, I have my IKamper mounted on my Colorado, I started with a cab high rack, but quickly moved to a low mount, which eliminates many of the problems stated in this video. Easily fits in the garage, I can open it and dry in there, better highway mpg, and I can set it up while standing on the ground. I take my RRT off in late Oct, and put it back on in late March. Thank you for this video, however many of the con's are easily solved.

I have to agree on alot of what you say. I sold my ram for one. Thumbs up for looks, cool factor and versatility!!! I find I do the same thing. I do the same thing when I park it, I turn around a look at it and say to myself, "Whata beauty!" Mine is the WILLYs because it's conservative. It has the jeep history and all the off road capability, yet like my personality it isn't flashy like the Rubicon. I've wanted one since the concept was first talked about, a decade ago. I'm 74 ands it's the best vehicle I have EVER bought!!!

It was my favorite vehicle and waited a long time for it to be released to get one. Got me the Rubicon with every package and everything went well until the infamous ticking noise impacting many Mopar engines. Was noticeable at 62k miles, right after the warranty expired and since it is a flaw with the engine rest assured it will happen again. Had to get rid of it, I am still sad and disappointed. 😔

Hi, I have looked at a number of travel trailers and have owned two in the past as in decades ago. One was an Avon. The other was a 23 foot terry. It weighed 4700 pounds loaded with gear less water. (Water was carried in the front and virtually all of that weight went on the tongue and rear bumper. My interest is in the smaller single axe trailers. Other than the Happier Camper HC1 Breeze, models like the Colman 17B or 17R which are minimum content light weight stick and tin trailers are what I go for. Except for the azdel walls and construction, I am of the opinion that the newer 24 model year entry level trailers are the best value for your money. And for the most part, they are assembled using most of the same parts as the higher content more expensive models. Keep it simple. A box with a comfortable bed, roomy toilet/shower, small cook top, microwave, refrigerator and lounge chair/sofa with a floating table and your golden.

Wow! DEF every 1-2k miles? That doesn't seem right. My 2017 Eco Diesel needs DEF every 8-10k. Not sure if that is a byproduct of the redesign between the two, but that is excessive for sure!

I tow my 2022 G19fbs with a 2019 Ford Ranger with factory tow package. I have never had one issue with my Geo Pro. I love it. I ordered mine the way I wanted it rather than buying off the dealer's lot. I also use a local family owned dealer and they are great. They even check with me from time to time to make sure everythng is o.k.and I am still happy with my purchase. I watched your whole video and the only thing I could think is why in the world did you buy the trailer and why are you keeping it if it is such junk.

Thank you for this video. We rented a very small cabin (Less than 400 sf) in the N. Ga mtns last fall and after getting there and unpacking our little Toyota (food, bedding, clothing changes (two compressions cubes a piece), cooler, on our first day, on the way winding through the back of the Chattahoochee forest, we saw so many RVs & campers over to the side boondocking for the night (look at me, learning the lingo!☺️) When we got settled in, we were out on the deck w the fire pit and looked at each other & said, we wouldn't have had to fight to get back before dusk (NO lighting and if you passed the turn off, you were easily driving for another good 30 minutes) if we had an RV, this would have been prime! Now, by all means, don't get us wrong about the Airbnb...but being in someone else's 'home' is still somewhat of a 'meh' factor (esp since my stick vac & cleaning wipes picked up what their cleaner apparently neglected when they said 'cleaned after every stay' 😕 I also brought my own cast irons to cook with and deconstructed easy meals for all our days/nights. We've also been increasingly disheartened with the hotel stays, esp since lockdowns have lifted. Why MUST the sticky spot on the hotel room counter seem to ALWAYS find my bag??😔 The major turn off has also been the advent of 'No daily cleaning unless requested.' (so can I also not PAY for those days 🤔) and then there's the ever popular waking up inevitably always after the U.M.B. (Unidentified Muffin Breakfast) has been depleted only to have the communal sticky-handled waffle maker as the only option left. I think I'd like a convection microwave and have the oven area as storage. Anyway, I appreciate the video. Simple and to the point. My co-worker's husband picked her up on Friday in their new (previously loved) Minnie Winnie and she's now my FAVORITE co-worker ☺️ She also said they can tow their Yaris (I have a Matrix, so it'll be great). This really beats us buying another car or truck w pymnt and having a payment on a camper. You were spot-on with the idea of being able to take more smaller trips more frequently than looking to take one or two big trips throughout the year and being relegated to the cost of the hotel, check in time, loading all your stuff up in the car, unloading all your stuff up to the room, remembering that you forgotten something down in the car only after you got an unwound and relaxed, dealing with doors slamming, etc. I also love the all encompassing idea...sort of like a turtle 🥰

I personally went with the Mojave one the Rubi because I think the appearance better than the Rubi. I am not really ever going to take my truck anywhere that would warrant needing the front locker or sway bar. And ultimately the suspension package on the Mojave means I dont need to upgrade my suspension to get the ride I want. The stock ride on the Mojave is so comfortable and capable for trail riding and road. But that's the beauty of owning a JL or JT. You can buy something that suits your needs out of the box or make it your own!

Put 100k miles on it and get back to us, absolute time bomb of an engine. Fuel parts? Not available, DPF parts? Not available. Intake fault code? Completely carboned off and jammed closed, or open. Part? Not available... Fully serviced by dealer and at 130k the crank bearings are gone due to the high grit soot in the oil.... the day it was stolen I cried with happiness . Id rather listen to a Hemi tick and enjoy the 15mpg.
