The design reminds me so much of Zenonia, which I really like.
Pick a title
I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks 4 ruined the franchise and don't get me started on 76 I pretend it doesn't exist and isn't cannon
The institute's ideology is just "eugh,, you woulddnt understand, peasant, you're just a backwards savage" Vs caesar or house from new vegas with clear goals motivations and methods with somewhat concrete reasoning behind them
if only this game had wifi battles...
LOL the opening sentences of this video are already revising history and pure nonsense - that should be good.
My biggest gripe with Civ 6 that has kept me from playing it for more than an hour or two in total... It's too god damn complicated. Civ V took me long enough to get into, but admittedly when I finally did get into it, I poured over 2,000 hours into it subsequently thereafter. With Civ VI, it just feels like an utter mess of tacked on features that drag the gameplay out unnecessarily to an already long game. I'm going to take another stab at it today but I don't have high hopes for it.
Happy happy birthday bro
I don't know man, having one of your top guys be suceptible to *checks notes* someone saying a couple of words doesnt seem to me like a stupid thing to want to prevent
28:07 unexpected SD reference.
You can even re-watch hxh without any problems and jojo too they are great and unique every arc was best
Ps5 player here: im done with this game, i love the concept and premise behind it, game style, art style is awesome, but i am constantly dying even on easy or very easy, im getting hit by enemies i cannot see where they are or where the attack is coming from, and im a seasoned gamer who can take on some pretty hard games, this game seems so cool, but its needlessly hard and you can never get enough ammo, the guns are all so weak, and even the so called low level enemies take dozens of bullets, and yes i am hitting them, the companions are pretty much useless, codsworth runs away more than he even attempts to help. this game was an awesome concept but i cannot express just how let down i am at this game. i am currently at level 4 and i have high strength and high stamina, in fact im 2 stars away from being max in those areas. still this game is extremely hard its not even fun. and i play COD games, the outer worlds on medium and hard levels as well as other games that are considered my most to be quite difficult and intense at times.
9:55 When I was younger I finished fighting Kellogg, and when I ran outside I didn’t see or hear the brotherhood. I just ran off and fast travelled to finish the story
I love how the west coast has 2 major factions with governments and their own currency and trade routes and one has close to pre war living 200+ years after the bombs meanwhile fo4 has raiders still scavenging a super mart 210 years after the bombs fell
Man MHA and Spiderman have very similar characters 😭
Far harbor is peak, and i will not tolerate hate, the best part of fallout 4
Liked the video as soon as I heard the soundtrack at starting. Its one of my favourites.
I bought the game super cheap 2 weeks ago and I'm already 30 hours in 😂 might not seem like a lot to more hard-core gamer but I work 😂😂
Favorite 4th wall break, mine is when Eliza said they live in a consol in my case it was a Nintendo switch
YES YES YES YES YES
I don't know. I bought it on summer sale without the dlcs and tested it over the last two days. I can see what they tried and the potential but it feels... restrictive and like work? I mean it somehow is fun but it also feels annoying and tiring. Suddenly 7 turns feel like eternity compared to civ5 and the whole mechanics don't seem... thought trough? Like the district thing: Yeah, it is somehow an interesting idea and adds more strategy but at the same time it conflicts with the map generation, making it purely a thing based on luck. The whole game is based on science for you to win every other victory so you will always need the campus in every city, therefore already losing one tile (if you are a small island of 7-8 tiles it is a problem). And if you don't have mountains or jungles around, you get worse output compared to other civs who are lucky. Same with production: I had basically zero production since having only two hills near my city so I needed the factory disctrict next to the two hills. However, this lead to the problem that I couldn't build other districts since I needed the other tiles for farms for food. You see the problem? While the district idea is nice on paper in reality it is pretty restrictive, forcing you to design your city in the way the map tells you, even if it is not the playstyle you are heading for. The worst thing is, that you can't even remove the districts or relocate them so you are stuck with them even if you don't need them anymore. And the district idea is not new either. It actually existed in civ5 already, where specialists could build their unique buildings like academies, factories etc etc on tiles outside the city. I think this system was way better since it allowed you to enhance modernisations like mines and other things and you could remove them if not needed anymore. It was more flexible. Also, I don't like the idea of workers in civ6. Their "exhaustion" is just so annoying, forcing you to produce them all the time instead of working on real projects, not to mention that you can't build roads anymore, leaving it to the merchant. This is actually a problem too since it forces you to use them between your own cities and with every other city outside to create a network, which doesn't work with limited units like 1 in the beginning or 7 in the late game... And I won't start with the agendas... shit, this is just childish and annoying. Like I give a crap if China likes it if I produce much or hating me for building wonders...
It really is fr a good game and worth money to buy
the one fucking thing i HATE about rpgs are it's leveling systems and how they're PAINFULLY dull. even in the most acclaimed ones like witcher 3 i cannot fucking stand these arbitrary numbers. nothing about some werewolf being higher level than me and being unbeatable no matter how skillfully i fight it is immersive or roleplaying to me. outward is THE way rpgs should be and i fucking love it so fucking much
I'm surprised you didn't mention anything about the Minutemen
I bought Civ 6, complete, for $20 in late 2024. It's my first experience with the franchise. I'm playing it, and it's fun, but I definitely won't be back for 7. I think that's just fine. Play the version of the game you like. They'll always make a new version and change something you love, so just play the game you like and try a new franchise next time. That's how I ended up here. And I'll end up somewhere else when I get tired of this game. It's a buyer's market. We have all the power. They desperately need your dollars. Don't give them any. Make them prove that they're worthy. Bottom line is this. You'll never have enough time to play all the games you want to play. Never spend 1 second of your life playing a game that sucks.
Tbh I just started playing FO4 and I am a bit disappointed
I think my biggest issue with Fallout 4 is the lack of original weapons, and that lack of being good or evil. Hear me out, every faction has great goals and downsides. I didn’t actually like any of the factions, and wish I could get rid of them all. The armors kinda suck. And I wish I I could have the original dialogue menu knowing what I’m going to say. Last thing, the comedy and wild encounters were barely existing. Fallout 3 and New Vegas were filled with comedy, 4 just felt like comedy was forced by writers that weren’t funny.
Ⓜ️id
Wait... did I miss it somewhere? I don't recall you discussing The Minutemen. Also come on xD Why wouldn't you finish Nuka World? It's goofy as hell!
Fantastic video. I bought Fable the day it was released, a rarity at the time because my financial situation was not good. I lost myself in that game from beginning to end, also, casting lightning while playing on a dolby 5.1 system is STILL something to experience. I loved how fluidly you could swing a sword around and then flip lightning or fire at a more distant enemy. I loved how your character ages as you spend your experience. I loved how dying resulted in you getting scarred, I loved how celery resulted in instant weight loss, I loved "it's chicken chaser, you chase chickens!" I have never understood how mad people get at Peter Molyneux. He clearly got really excited about his projects and at times over-promised, and yes, sometimes he would come up with an idea on the spot, much to the chagrin of the devs working for him, but he rarely ever under-delivered, even if some ideas had to be scrapped. We're talking about the guy who gave us populus, syndicate, black and white, and fable.
Spidey is the goat
Bro the anime is confusing too
The only reason why Nintendo isn't suing his company for ripping off Pokemon is because the game didn't make a whole bunch of money like pol word
Do they have e a pole can’t I meant doesn’t have a Pokémon center a place you heal your Pokémon
I've been playing Fallout 4 since it came out. I love the Fallout world (from a gaming point of view) it grips me from the moment i start each game. FO1 was excellent, loved the game. FO2 i am still playing it and from what i am seeing, its top notch for sure. FO3 i have just started another playthough, my first in over 7 years and i am loving it, just forgot just how good it was. FONV was awesome, one of the best of the franchise. FO4 Though, was a huge let down. For me it just feels like a different game compared to the others. As an adventurer game its pretty good, but for me and many others i have heard, as soon as you clear an area of raiders, less than a few days later its full again , its like none stop, this kinda gets a bit boring after a while, if it was say a month before re populated with raiders again, then that would of been accepted, but not just after a few days. Another thing that was kinda boring was the dialog system, this was kinda lame tbh, compare this to FONV, the dialog in that game was awesome. Building settlements for the Minutemen was the most stupid faction i have ever played in. Last time i joined the minutemen was way back in 2018. i have never joined them again. You join this group and eventually become the GENERAL. Yet Preston Garvey is constantly giving you orders to help this area or that area, " another settlement needs our help" go and save them. It should be you, the general who should be giving Preston orders not him. And then there's Building settlements, that bore's me stupid. Yr the General, It should be the settlers who build the settlements. You go away do some quests then come back to see the settlement slowly getting into shape, that would be great, but NO, its all down to you. Yr the Farmer, Builder, making houses, furniture, windows, fences, planting crops, digging wells for water supply, even telling settlers what to do and where to sleep, my god, its endless. These are not settlers, they are fucking zombies. That's why i don't build settlements anymore or join any faction. I play this game only for the adventure, That's it. I keep well away from factions and the main story which is garbage. As well as any other area's or people that rewards you to build their settlement. In FO1 and FO2 you see settlements all over the place, yet here in the Boston commonwealth, everyone is waiting for you to build their settlement, its just so fucking lame. Like i said i play FO4 just for enjoyment of the adventure of wiping out Raiders, Ghouls, Supermutants, those atom freaks and Gunners that's it. The other fallout games had a story to follow a good one that was interesting to follow, FO4 didn't, the main story was so lame and boring and i hate it. Anyway that's enough of me rambling on.
I don't care what anyone says about spiderman. For me he is the greatest hero and he will always be my greatest superhero.
Ewww a Coomer
Fallout 1, 2, and NV were the best. 3 and 4 were just underwhelming. Let's not even talk about 76. Bethesda-developed Fallout games are just bad.
I would have enjoyed the game, but another settlement needed my help
GOAT
39:16 ✋ I DO like *Longfellow.* Unlike other companions (that I don't like) he's a good person and his backstory and motivations to help me are more than enough, for me. *Cait* keeps bitching about everything and dislikes me when I do something that is not stealing or taking drugs. *Danse* keeps talking to me like I'm a soldier and never consider that I'm instead an individual with my own brain (and not a slave of people with more medals on their chest) and that I'm just there to help, not to OBEY and follow orders (he's also super racist). *Piper* is tolerable, but I really don't like her attitude. *X6-88* and *Gage* are pure evil and I'm often getting myself in trouble, if I enter some settlements or hideouts with them by my side. ... and the worst of them all... *STRONG !* First of all: generic. The same voice of all other super mutants and pretty much the same lines. The character is annoying and doesn't like ANYTHING (I had to eat corpses in front of him for hours, just to reach the max companion affinity. And I couldn't DARE to use a lockpick, otherwise he would had disliked it). He doesn't have a growth arc and there isn't even any kind of "ending" for his story. He will just stay there hating everything, not dressing anything but some limited very specific armors and accepting only 2 kind of weapons. *Longfellow* is half baked as many other characters, but at least he start as a bodyguard and ends considering you a real friend and a become some kind of grumpy "father figure". And that, if you think about it, is an even bigger character arc than what they gave to *Dogmeat:* he finds you. I immediately likes you... and that's it.
Bro… imagine a character salad for dog meat? Like what if he DIDNT instantly like you and there was a quest where you help him find his former owner or bury his owners final bone and from that moment forward THEN he likes you?! Idk that would be cool and without any dialogue because he’s a dog, it would be such a great little story and instantly make me like the companion a lot more 🥲
Character ARC not salad lmfao damn autocorrect
@@SoGoodContent EXACTLY ! You got what I meant.
I’m watching it now as a first timer and this is exactly how I feel. Especially during the fight scenes, they try to explain every damn thing and i can’t make sense of it.
Good video, but I want to suggest maybe don’t roast and hyperbolically discredit any fallout 4 fans right out the gate of your video at the 1 minute mark. I myself am a fan of fallout 4, but agree with many of your criticisms of it. I personally believe New Vegas to be the best, but still appreciate 4’s exploration/looting/shooting/crafting/building loop. I’m sure in your head you intended the comment to only target a small vocal minority, but just be aware it comes across as anyone who disagrees with your previous term “it sucked” is just a “hateful fanboy who has blind rage” which is a big turnoff to people like me that enjoy fallout 4, but will justly admit its monumental faults. Maybe it’s just me, but I recommend to not outright villainize me within the first minute of your video that I was interested in just because I don’t share your total disdain of something and maybe I’ll be more willing to hear out your points.
Good feedback bro 🙏
I pity you guys. How low are your standards and expectations to actually have enjoyed Fallout 4? Mind-boggling.
@@mr.horseshoe2301 Well my all time favorites are the Half Life games, Witcher 3, Dark Souls 1 & 3, Bloodborne, Shadow of the Colossus, Super Mario Bros 3, Fallout New Vegas, Ocarina of Time/Majoras Mask, Doom 2016, and Halo's 1-3. So yeah, pretty low standards. No good games here at all. Mind boggling.
Superhero? he can´t even fight anymore!
Bethesda fans deserve Fallout 4
What got me hooked more than anything on the story was the scientist scene spoiler warning At the end of the original games final fight the scientist who mentored the villain appears before you and poses the idea that... what if your life is just some game where a child is controlling you, he explains how he was once a game character in a game, but managed to escape and took out his experimenters. it breaks the 4th wall in an undertale style of way it feels like the scientist isn't posing it to you it feels like its being posed to us not the player us the people... that what if we're in a game
0:28 very madlad move of you to use the "superhero movie" scene instead of the actual Uncle ben death instead. Incredibly underrated movie
But have you played Fallout 1 and 2?
Spider-man ❤ greatest superhero ever
Bethesda is obsessed with the past but there is no such thing as "past" in the OG trilogy fallout is a post apo game it's not about 2077 and vault with 21 century people frozen in Trust me If it were guys from Interplay who had put people from the past in the present, believe me they would have made idiots of them... Oh wait ! that's already what they did with Fallout 2 enclave
