That is a great method. You should explain why it works. Correct me if I am wrong, but if the 4th does not work, moving it up 1 half step makes it the 7th, helping you find the new key.

This little story may come as something a bit curious from the other side of the world. About 15 years ago, more or less, i bought a guitar magazine with some tracks from "guitarist of the year" . Among all the material on the cd that came with it I've heard this interesting blend of reggae and rock, a tune with very cool ideas. It got stuck in my ear for about a year and then decided to learn it. After a while I was demonstrating that riff and melody to my own students, trying to dare them to play and write something that mixes styles, as a little departure from the comfort zone. That song was "crab racing" by you Simon. I always wondered what became of you, and why I never found a proper album with more original music from you. For whatever is worth, "crab racing" is being taught to some students in the remote country of Chile, in South America. Sometimes we write music and have no control on how it will affect people. Crab racing is a song that i keep coming back to for teaching and just for the pure fun of playing it. Well done man!

I saw a lot of videos about the GT-100 programming. I was about to give up because of the poor sound I got from it. No really tried yed, but I will definetly do it when I go home. I'm sure it will works fine, addins an IR's could be even more realistic! Thx you!

Seriously, in 2023 if I went to an event and a 3 piece band came out of the gates like this I think my head would explode! No backing tracks, no auto-tune, just 3 genuinely talent people who have put in the hours and are ripping it up. Sure, its an electric kit but that's the way the venues are nowadays with sound levels etc. but I don't care, this is so kick ass, I f*cking love it!
