Pro Guitar Tips No 37 How to Use an E Bow

I thought I'd introduce you to the E Bow. It's a gadget I've been meaning to try for decades! I quite like it. You can get some nice spooky, haunting sounds from it. It gives a similar effect to the Sustainer pickup that Steve Vai uses but of course you can use it on any guitar. The downsides are that it's pretty cumbersome and requires a bit of skill to make it work. Not easy to use halfway through a song either. Fun to play with though!
