Simon Lees Would love to see a video on Modes and your view on how best to use them. Or maybe some tutorials on the great Budgie songs... always think it’s a shame the Budgie back catalogue doesn’t get more recognition..... some incredible songs! Take care, stay safe and keep the video’s coming!

Cheers Ross - that's great feedback. It's hard to put my finger on why this sounds like me but apart from the trademark licks I fo like the John Williams approach which is as follows:- 2 notes; the 1st is a lot lower than the 2nd and probably on a thicker string. Play the 1st note and slide towards the guitar body until your hand is in line with the 2nd note and then pick that. The trick is to keep the sound continuous so you don't take your finger off the original string until you can instantly switch to the 2nd note. I love that effect.

I've known Mike De Jager for many years and when he asked me to put together the keyboard parts for this track I couldn't say no. He sent me across the album version yesterday and it's great! Looking forward to when Mike shares it with the world.
Mike and I wrote another track together about 6 or so years ago after I asked him to record him jamming for a bit. We turned it into this... ruclips.net/video/FjMhxX1yeOo/видео.html
