There are mistakes galore on this live performance. Below I've listed the main reasons.
    1. Since 2018 I've been unable to do regular One Man Rock shows due to other gigging commitments. This was my 4th solo show in 12 months. My other live videos show a far more polished performance because I was doing these shows every week.
    2. I'm still not used to operating the new equipment although it sounds great! I used the Neural DSP Quad Cortex as the mixer for my guitar, microphone and backing tracks. It is a phenomenal piece of kit and my guitar sound is so much better now!
    3. During lockdown I changed the type of pick I use. I've gone from 3mm to 0.6mm. This has made some lead bits tricky but I will persevere..
It's worth mentioning, my vocal level sometimes goes really quiet. This is because I was playing in a very small venue and on loud notes I was backing off the microphone. I have a very loud voice and the sound coming directly out of my mouth was sufficient to compete with the sound coming out of my speakers! Internet experts will no doubt suggest I used compression during the mixing process. I did!
Despite all this I still wanted to upload this recording as a snapshot of where I am at this moment in time. Its also been a great excuse to use my new recording software. Despite the performance issues I'm really pleased with the sound on this recording.
    Set List:
    1. 0:03 Sweet Home Alabama
    2. 5:09 Jessica
    3. 9:30 Highway to Hell

I've listened to you play a bit of master of puppets and Mr Crowley.. awesome playing, very talented. It kinda inspires me but more like makes me think put the guitar down as I'll never be that good..
