I have a question, the foam cannon that you have, is it suited for the GPM of your machine? I ask because I have one that I use for a pressure washer made specifically to wash vehicles and the foam cannon has an orifice internally that can be replaced depending on the GPM. I believe if you use one that is for lower GPM machines, it could damage the pump. Awesome video, thanks!
I just asked for a S10+ for a holiday present and one of the biggest factors in that decision was the Dexnor case. I thought I would really enjoy the much bigger screen of the S10 Ultra, but the problem I see with it is that it is too big to hand hold, and unless you are sitting at a desk or table, there was no case that would allow you to sit with it comfortably in the lap. Most cases rely on a rear flap to hold the tablet when sitting with it in your lap and the footprint from the front of the keyboard to the rear of the unfolded flap is much bigger than with a Chromebook. This appears to have a very small footprint, and in addition, the way the screen floats above and slightly forward made this setup look like the best setup possible. I was looking at Chromebooks, but nothing really seemed to have the disply quality of the Galaxy Tab S9 or S10 models, but tablets just didn't have the same laptop like packaging. I was really excited to see the Dexnor and this pushed me from the Ultra to the Plus. While I made this decision before I saw your video, it confirms my decision was the right one.
Interesting, but totally inconclusive unless you tell us the cells.
Nah 5 yrs later and this is still helping 😂 don’t let anyone hate bro
At that point with that big ass thing you’re better off just getting the five amp power battery and charger for $70 deal
So, in a snowstorm, what if you lose power and need to recharge? Upstate New York is famous for this.
I do not like this type of keyboard because it inhibits normal tablet usage!
Dude, thank you so much! Worked perfectly!
Nice video bro
Mine are 3 years on and running like a top, I cannot say the same for the ego batteries
Communist Xcel Energy will not allow a generlink installed in colorado.
You need to test several battery packs, not just one. It's always possible you could have a defective cell. Why didn't you check each cell with a meter after it was run to down? Fuel gauges are not meters. You need to fully charge a battery and check the gauge during use. Charging it half way will give you false readings. Letting it rest and checking it later could give false readings. Always run equipment a few minutes, then check fuel gauge. I'm not saying these batteries are good, but more info is needed before trashing a product. One test with one unknown condition item is inaccurate and unfair. I would only use rapid chargers when absolutely necessary.
I just bought the ego lm2130 mower & I agree with you about the larger battery & the turbo button. the kit I bought come with 2 10 amp batteries, which is great, but no turbo button, my green works mower has the turbo button, & I use it all the time for picking up leaves & it works great. The turbo button is the one thing missing on the ego mowers. I seen new mowers for 2025 pop up on the internett showing a version with a turbo button, which would be great, but the page is now missing, so I am not sure what happened.
Still waiting for them to release one for S9 Ultra model. 🥲
Are they Lithium iron phosphate?
Can it fit S8?
There's probably a different model for that size.
For use with the Generlink, the generator must be floating neutral and NOT neutral bonded to frame. Otherwise the second ground will mess things up
i will stick to my older metal “ jerry cans” with the threaded metal caps, have lasted me so-far well over 40 years. not one failure. no “seam “ to be a problem. not even coated on the insides.just fill with at least 1 gallon of real non watered down gasoline stabilizer. then pump gas. it is still good to use up to 3 years latter. and no rust, or water in the cans. if not for the miles and time just to get real gasoline. i would only fill with that fuel and stabilizer.
Cool device but too pricey for me. Installing a 50a plug and interlock kit so i can just switch over and power what i need with a 10kw generator.
Not overheating. Read the manual. Red light indicates low voltage and a blinking red light indicates nearly depleted.
Thank you!! This is what I needed.
Great video I happened to have one but the old style built-in 2020. I just took it in to have the pump replaced. A total of $188 with labor. The mechanic said the pump usually lasts about 4 to 5 years.
I betting the issue is Turbo wasn't designed for prolong use, just temporary blasts of power. If you're using it 100% you really need to consider a 765CFM or even the upcoming 800CFM.
I should add the 765CFM 5amp battery is on the heavy side and without the arm strap which it comes with now it can be a concern. Power wise though it's great, I've never even use Turbo and can still do weak enough for leaves on bark chips.
Hi Chris, I have this exact model. I would have it run fine for about an hour, then I took a break. After the break, the unit would run for about 15 minutes then turns itself off. I'd wait for a few minutes to restart, then it would run for another 5 minutes then stops again. Each time, it gets shorter and shorter! Do you think it is because it gets too hot? Kind of strange if that is how it works. I've had this unit for about a year and this is my 2nd time using it. Any advice is greatly appreciated!
It might be a dirty carburetor. The good thing is that engine is easy to work on if you are willing to do so. Shut off the fuel and take the carburetor off to disassemble and clean. There's lots of youtube videos that shows how to do this. My advice is if you are willing to do this yourself, take pictures of how it looks like before you take it apart. These engines are not difficult to work on and are designed to be maintained.
@@Mr-Chris Thanks Chris. I let it cool off and continued to work the next day. It ran for an hour a half without turning off. Somehow, if it ran for that long time, take a 15 break and restart, then it would not stay on. Sounds like a thermal sensor or something? Thanks for your feedback Chris.
I thought generlink is only compatible up to 10,000watt generators?
@ricodeguzman5338 This is actually a 10K "running" watt generator rated for 12K "surge" watts.
I have 17+ (lost count) EGO products/batteries. 2 wackers , a 3rd convertible for a rubber brush, an edger, and a tiller. Mower, my 2nd. Snowblower. 2 chainsaws and a bunch of batteries. Result: EGO customer service is a joke. Just for one malfunctioning battery I spent nearly a year going back-and-forth with their astute “customer service experts(?),” sent them all my serial #’s (why, did they suspect me of smuggling?), photo’d and video’d all products and their respective info plates and after all of that and their consistently tardy replies they denied the claim. I even arranged ALL the equipment and photo’d it. Their reason: I had gone beyond the warranty! But this is the “joke,” I exceeded the warranty with the tardy communication with them. I even called their headquarters and they pull up some 4th tier FAQ “reader’s” notes and based on that, they agreed agreed with the top notch rep and disallowed the claim. Well, roll your dice with this bunch. I won’t be, any longer.
I've only had issues with the 5 ah batteries, but it's the charger that comes with the battery that fails first and if you don't catch it quick it will mess up the battery. My first 5ah battery and charger were replaced in under a year. My 2.5ah is fine and about 4 years old. I found the 2nd 5ah battery on the charger and it was red just a few months after it was replaced. So now i only charge the 5ah battery on the bigger charger that came with my 7.5ah battery for the mower. Not A PROBLEM SINCE.
Appears to be the MHP ever glow series! We have a resort in my neck of the woods that uses tons of them!!! (Different model tho…) beautiful lamps and bro… LOVE that you upgraded to the open flame. The original coal gas open flame lamps were a bit brighter but on natural gas it’s gonna be pretty dim. That’s one advantage the mantles have over the open flame but the open flame looks cooler. Anyways, I’m thinking of getting a bevolo myself. If I ever make enough to buy a house, I may just use a few of these (as well as the bevolo) around the outside. Perhaps even a couple of mantle burners in areas that need more light. Thanks for sharing this video! Was really fun to watch!
I had one battery from snowblower fail. And like you said , they replaced no issues. I also have a 10 y old 4 amph working great... even in the mini bike.
Obviously a good time to clean your pc if you haven’t 👍
The problem we had using them in the military is the inside coating/ paint flakes and rust! That ends up clogging fuel filters, injectors and jets in carburetors. Watchout for the cans with exterior metal ridge seam that isn't recessed! The seams get banged up and rust and leak! Yikes!
Thanks for the advice, good tips... great job.
This keyboard is SO DAMN HEAVY
Thanks for the review. Used mine one season, blew the engine second season. It had clean oil, clean gas, it backfired while in use, died, and it couldn’t be resuscitated.
wonder if the Ego 4 ah battery would be fine as i will have cells that can handle the same current as the 5Ah but with less internal heat.
So you say at 4:35 to spend the money to get the Wavian or Gelg, and then at 4:41 you compare what you said earlier as a reason to not get the Gelg?
2/3 of my 5 hour battery has the same issue. I've not had issues with a 7.5 ah and a 10 ah.
Thank you for the vid. Do you have an electric water heater?
It's important that when buying accessories like a surface cleaner or a turbo nozzle you make sure to size it appropriately for your pressure washer based on PSI and GPM output. Nozzles come in all different orifice sizes and if not sized appropriately can greatly reduce pressure output. Adding a longer hose also reduces output pressure. There's nozzle sizing charts available for reference online
Nice video. I’d recommend adding to only use rec fuel. This will stop the carb gum up concerns in small engines
Rec fuel?
My experience - the dexnor keyboard is great. One of the best ones I've typed on. Can't fault it on that at all. But tge trackpad... ssssuuuccckkksss
I use the power button to shut off and its been fine for 2+ years. I only use fuel shut-off last time before winter. But listen my real question is this: when you put soap in the reservoir and your multi wand on soap setting, what do you do to stop using soap? (I unplug the soap hose from under the pump but i'm looking for a more efficient way)...thanks!
The soap reservoir is activated when you use low pressure nozzle like the "soap nozzle" on the wand, also if you don't put any nozzle on the wand, soap will still come out. The pump feels less resistance and automatically starts to siphon soap from the reservoir. When you switch to a high pressure nozzle on the wand, the soap will stop as the pump is working harder due to resistance not allowing soap to be siphoned anymore. You don't need to disconnect the soap hose. Yes there might be a little soap that may continue to
@@Mr-Chris thanks!
Great review, exactly what I was looking for :D
i just got one to but the mower dont go more that 30 min (manufacture say up to 1 hour or up to 1 acre)i have less that 1/2 acre ,the mower dont have power to pic up the clippers well .i did have high hope for this mower but 700$ and i cant cut my grass on my yard in one shot thats a no ,i like that is very quiet ,what i like, but i will go back on a gas mower have more power
Nice, right to the point
I now exclusively use generics. The quoted amp-hour value may be overstated, but they are so much cheaper than EGO's. China is good at Li-ion tech, so there is little reason to distrust most of these products. I've had similar over-heat/ dormancy issues with EGO batteries-but none with the generics. Plus, I also prefer Greenworks leafblowers, as they don't have any overheat issues (and use generic batteries as well). I won't pay more for a battery than the tool itself.
That shit won’t start , Fuck
Plastic mower deck is about the dumbest idea ever. Then to sell this as an option? Mine got a small chip on both sides approximately in the center. It has now cracked almost in half I think the motor is the only thing holding it together. This may have saved it.Best thing would've been a metal deck.
It's junk
I am always worried about my tablets safety. Would I be able to use a case with the keyboard to give protection to the sides of the tablet?
