Just got this brand new. Won’t start. So unbelievably frustrating
I purchased this washer in the summer of 2021 but never took it out of the box until a few days ago. It started easily and performed admirably... for about 30 minutes. Then, it shut itself down and would not start back up. It was as if someone flipped the ON/OFF switch to the OFF position or as if it ran completely out of gas. But, neither of those things happened. It just shut down. I let it cool down for about 30 minutes and started it back up. if performed like a champ for all of 6 minutes before it shut down again. I put it away for a couple of days and took it out today to see if I would have better luck. But, the exact same thing. Ran for half an hour and shut down. It's a shame. When it's running it does a great job. If I can't find a solution online somewhere, it's going back to Costco.
I bought mine in the fall of 2021 at Costco and will be using it today for the first time since buying it. I plan to follow the directions from this video. Did you put enough oil in? Also I thought we couldn’t return this after a year? Warranty is gone right? If we can, then I need to find the receipt.
Our pressure washer jumps around and does not stay in one position. Is there anything we can do to keep it in one place? Thanks

I was hoping you did a live demo of it turning off because I don’t like how it violently shakes when it’s down to the last gas in the carburetor? Should I let it turn off even though it’s shaking like that? My gut instinct is to turn the pressure washer off. I don’t like how it shakes when it’s running out of gas using the fuel off switch versus turning off knob.
It's normal, my gas.mower does the same thing. The reving and shaking is from the engine burning through the last but of gas. So long that you don't let the water pump run dry, it's safe. By turning it off by just the knob and not the gas... the left over gas can gunk up the carburetor making it difficult to start the engine the next time you use it. If old gas is left long enough, you'll have to disassemble and thoroughly clean the whole carburetor. Shutting off the gas greatly reduces the chance of the carburetor getting gunked up. Especially with regular ethanol gasoline from the gas station which is known to go bad quickly in small engines.
@@Mr-ChrisCan you clarify exactly what you mean by don't let the pump run dry? (I did observe and understand you pulled trigger 4x while after you shut off the gas)
Just brought one. Did a half of house and it cut off. Wouldn't restart. Plugs were burnt black. What could be the problem?
Can you explain the purpose behind holding the trigger while pulling the cord? I've never seen that done before.
It helps make it easier to start by relieving pressure and resistance from the water pump.

Very good video thanks. I own one of these. My only issue is that to pull the chord is very hard. One I am able to give it a long hard pull it starts right away. Any suggestions on this ?

How is the other pressure washer from yoir videis a couple years ago holding up? Thinking pf getting one.
I used my new one yesterday, but today after starting it, it died after a minute and the choke won’t pull back to the start position. It’s stuck in the middle. Not sure ưhy it can’t be moved all the way to cold. There is still oil…halfway left, but I doubt that is issue.
So to make carburetor last longer, you should turn off the fuel or push the fuel lever to the left when you’re done using the pressure washer and let the engine run out when gas is used and empty. Then you can turn off the engine. Is that right? I thought engine actually turns off if you pull fuel lever to the left.
Yes that's correct, turning off fuel will burn through most of the remaining gas in the carburetor before turning itself off reducing the risk of it getting gunked up.
Bought ours 2 days ago. Tried to use it yesterday and it has no pressure. Can't figure out the issue
So brand new there is not a lot of fresher and adjustable nozzle leaks at the connection pressure is low water coming out of the hose is on high and get pressure
