I bought the hand gun, swivel, and orifice per the recommendations on this video and was very satisfied with everything. I didn't buy the hose because I figured the one I had was sufficient as it was 50'. First use I fought with the hose for a long time and got frustrated. Ordering that next. Great video!
Finally got shaving cream foam on my Telluride. Thanks so much! After watching videos on you tube, especially your channel, I upgraded from a power washer setup and followed your advice. I picked up a Karcher 1700 on sale and went with some of your recommended upgrades: , Mckillans Gun, Flexzilla 50' hose and quick connects. man... I just watched this video and it motivated me to drag my 5 yr old Harbor Freight pressure washer out of storage. I bought the hose, gun, Mingle foam cannon, and 1.1 orifice and am simply amazed at the results... thanks!
Your videos helped me completely upgrade my inexpensive pressure washer to something that is awesome. Your videos are very well done and helpful for guys like me who want to learn detailing. Thanks for your videos!
I bought a pressure washer today and I have never seen a hose get so kinked up in my life. WTF I was pulling my hair out trying to untangle it. I am so freaking happy you made this video I pray the hose you recommended is better than this nightmare. Thanks!!😁👍
I added to your upgrades by getting an inline ball valve shut off for switching guns on the fly and a reel to wind up my 50' hose. Great video and thanks for the upgrades!
I agree 100% about the hose upgrade. I have a petrol/gas, 2600 psi, pressure washer with the standard 6mtr or 19 (ish) foot hose. Disappointingly the hose is rated at only 3200 psi. So it kinks. I bought an extension of 20mts. So over 60ft & rated at 5800 psi. No kinks or even drop in flow, which is amazing. But the best part is that I can park it at 1 corner of the house & clean it only with one pass of foam, and one pass with a 30 degree tip. (40 is too wide & 15, too aggressive). Then move it to the opposite cnr once & do it again. A once a year job done in an hour or less.
Just ordered the quick connects, wand, and blue hose from your links as well as some extra quick connects to convert my normal garden hoses and sprayers. Looking forward to trying it all out.
Just ordered the “kit” based on the vid and the foam cannon square off- used the foam cannon to wash my entire store front and side walk- looked like a blizzard just hit San Francisco- thanks for the hard work.
A very long story, but... my wifes 2017 Soul Red Mazda 6 was not washed for 3.5 years; not even a drive-through wash tunnel. I say pure laziness, oh well! I finally gave in and washed, decontamited, applied a cleaner sealant, and topped it with TW Ice Seal n Shine and TW Ice Spray Wax. A great turnaround indeed. Although it has the same issue with minor clearcoat etching on the hood. The mirrors are faded. I would swear they were never clearcoated at the factory. I am sure your friend and his parents are happy with the finished product.
You are spot on with these upgrades. Especially the factory hoses that come with the pressure washer. I bought a champion gas pressure washer and I swear that the hose was made out of a plastic bumper material. No flex just huge coils..used 1 time before replacement. As for foam cannons, I brought some cheap ass Amazon cannon for $20 bucks. With the pressure from my gas powered Champion unit and Chemical guys foam wash, I get 4 inch thick shaving cream. So save your money on the foam cannon and buy a better pressure washer with more power.
Thats true. Most foam cannons are rated for higher psi and gom to work properly. My issue is noise when im at a customers house so i always opt for an electric pressure washer and then do the mod for the foam cannon
What such valuable/ game changer this video is. Things are gonna be such a big difference in terms of efficiency and stuff like that. Really appreciate this and love this video
Late to the party here but I upgraded to the quick connects and to the UberFlex hose. And what a difference the quick connects makes in the ease of set up and take down for my pressure washer. The hose is great as I can put my pressure washer in a convenient place and I have plenty of hose to walk all the way around my truck with the added bonus of it not getting all squirrelly (technical term) on me. Next up is the new nozzle and foam cannon!
Well I took Josh's advise and got the hose, foam cannon, quick disconnect & short handle wand and I agree with Him all of these products really do make detailing Your car enjoyable. I got the 30 hose and it works fine for Me as I am only working on 1 car at a time.
Getting ready to try my hand at detailing. I’m a hyper-fixator and your videos are the exact beginner technical level content i’ve been looking for. Thank you!
Im glad a found this video. I received a pressure washer from my neighbor and ended up ordering damn near everything in your list. Whats best is it was a fraction of the price vs the stuff I had in my cart from Obsessed Garage. This is more my speed anyway. Im just an average Joe. So thanks again for this video and the others you have posted.
Another excellent vid, the Sun Joe uses a 15mm. I am looking forward to the day when we have cordless and hoseless pressure washers...the latter is probably many years away.
I upgraded my Harbor Freight Braun PW. I used the Flexzilla hose (agree, the OEM hose is junk) and a quick connection set (Amazon). Added a foam cannon and I've got a car cleaning machine now!
Great video and tips! I never knew what I was missing with the larger office that came in my foam cannon. Just ordered the smaller 1.1mm and most all of the other parts to make my SunJoe pressure washer work like a pro!
So i’m watching this at 1.5x speed and man let me tell you i’m sure glad you clarified it was a PNS because that is NOT what i heard the first time 😂😂😂 but to be fair, in my line of work we have a key that’s shaped as such so that’s what it gets called
These upgrades definitely make detailing more enjoyable. Great tips Josh! I wish I had found your channel 6 years ago when I first started. My setup would’ve been so much more cleaner. Keep up the great work👍🏼
So I had my first go with my new Ryobi 1800psi pressure washer, foam blaster and 18v leaf blower today for a quick wash. Quick connects are an absolute necessity for quickly setting up and tidying up after, so they're in my cart right now. I'll definitely get the 50ft hose - moving the pressure washer around is ok, but not ideal, shorter wand and a decent foam cannon too, the Ryobi one doesn't make that thick, clingy foam with Mr Pink.
Good stuff, I used a pressure washer on my 17 year old Mazda for the first time last week. Based on your other video, I ordered the 1.1mm orifice from Amazon. The upgraded hose will be my next purchase.
Hey Josh, thanks for all the time and effort you put into giving us all the info ! Based on your reviews I was able to set -up a wash station in my garage and love it. I got the everything you suggested including the Ryobi pressure washer, uberflex hose, gun & soap cannon and all other related components. Thanks again !
Thanks for all the tips and advice. Here are some products I bought because of your videos. McKillans Swivel Gun Black Max 35' UberFlex Hose (Made in USA) Ryobi 1900 PSI Pressure Washer Armor All Foam Canon (Made in USA) Meguiar's Gold Class Soap
upgraded my budget gun to mtm hydro with swivel and it changed my life. upgrading my budget foam cannon to mjcc pro game changer as well. didn't get the flexible hose but got a 50 ft with quick connects. also got a all in one tip for the gun that allows you to choose the degree by turning. i have to tell you though getting tire guides for the hose is my favorite upgrade. i guess it is related as it helps the hose glide around the car.
Awesome! What pressure washer are you using? The only issue with the all in one tip is that the orifice may be larger that what was standard for the pressure washer so you might lose some psi.
"The number one upgrade - quick connects!" "The number one upgrade - upgraded hose!" haha nothing wrong with two number ones! Great video and thanks for the budget-conscious links.
@ 4:55 - being HONEST, when i bought my pressure washer, the only things i had on my mind were my driveway, walkways and stucco walls of my new house. It wasn’t until I was watching reviews of pressure washers on your channel that I realized I could also use it to wash my car…🤷♂️
Great video. Exactly the information I have been looking for to upgrade my mobile detailing pressure washer without breaking the bank. Keep up the great work.
I agree I have all that stuff 50ft uberflex mjjc cannon quick connect the gun and the surface cleaner for the driveway just a note i bought a longer wand to use with the disc to save my back lol these items make using the pw more like fun than work
Hey Josh, wanted to say thanks for all your helpful tips. I recently started watching your videos and purchased several of your recommended upgrades. We have an older Generac 2700 gasser and I hated working with that thing. Leaked like crazy and the short wand (I'm 6'-2") made it hard on my back. Well no more! For detailing my truck, I purchased the gun along with a 2000 PSI Greenworks electric washer from Costco. They had them going for $149, $50 off. It also came with a 25' Uberflex hose. I got the quick disconnect kit so now I can use the hose on both machines. I got some o-rings to stop the leaks and a 30" extension wand. Now I can stand straight up when I'm working on the driveway and it also makes overhead cleaning (gutters) much easier. I can't believe I waited this long to do these upgrades. 50' hose will be next! So thanks again, my pressure washing duties aren't half bad now! 👍
Got the hose, connectors and the snub nose ( non swivel ) and I am very happy with the decision to do so. Much easier to swap between the Ryobi wand and snub nose and the hose is a significant upgrade from Ryobi's.
There's really no need for an actual swivel attachment when the quick connect adaptors themselves act as swivels at their connection points. However, the swivel joint is a worthwhile purchase when there are no quick connects being used
I just recently discovered your RUclips channel and have become a follower. That said, I am now going farther into debt because of your reviews. Thanks. Keep up the great job!
Found a Ryobi 1600/1.2 cheap on Marketplace… ordered the Uberflex, quick connects, McKillan gun, Mr Pink soap… just need to decide on a foam cannon and I’m good to go. Thanks for all the tips
I just used the McKillans with Swivel, Uberflex hose, quick disconnects for high pressure and garden hose plus garden hose shutoff for the 1st time today. What a joy. No fighting the short (22') stiff stock hose or moving the unit with the hose connected. Thanks for all the suggestions Josh!
I have the same washer, used it about 1/2 a dozen times in 2 years and the wand just imploded on me and is leaking like a sieve. But the washer itself is damn good. Thanks for the suggestions.
Thanks for the advice! I'm new to pressure washing, just got my first unit, and upgraded to the quick connects and Flexzilla hose... Love it! ***Quick note for others like me: If your pressure washer is a Master Force brand (sold at Menard's stores in the Midwest US), it also requires M22-15 connectors or adaptors... I had to figure this out the hard way, because the spec is not mentioned in the manual or on the website... In fact, exactly zero of the replacement hoses sold by Menards will work on their own brand of machines! Makes one wonder if Menard's knows what they're selling... Well they might know now, I sent a lengthy email to corporate explaining their incompetence to them.
Hi Josh! Yet another cool and informative video from you, though I'm 3 years late seeing it.😮💨 Anyway, I bought the Suds Lab F1 Professional Foam Cannon. It holds 32 oz and works great! I changed the orifice to a 1.1mm and it foams fabulously. It fits better with my budget than the MJJC. However, I did get a 50 ft Flexilla hose for my Simpson Pressure Washer. It's not a high-end pressure washer, but it works well and does an awesome job for my needs. I'm not a pro detailer, simply a lady who likes to keep her ride clean, shiny, and pristine. Thanks for posting this video and for taking the time to explain the numerous products you showcase. You're GREAT!!!
Great video and recommendations ! I Just purchased the gun and hose you mentioned. I am a home owner using Ryobi 1900 psi that you reviewed not to long ago. Thanks again!
When using a foam cannon, should u apply ur foam to a dry vehicle or should I rinse my vehicle with water first? Also how long do u let ur foam sit? Sorry for all the questions! 😅 Great video, just bought a new wand with ur link 🙂
I always rinse the vehicle before I use my foam cannon. It removes loose dirt and dust before you foam cannon the car. Regarding the time you leave it on...by the time I am done using the cannon, it has sat long enough. Use your microfiber mit to start going over the car and then rinse.
Hi, congratulation for the excellent video. I have the AR Blue Clean 383. Do you have any kit available for the upgrade of the hose, fun cannon and gun?
I found a working (without the wand/gun) order model Craftsman electric PW 1700psi @ the rubbish dump. Luckily I had a gun from a previous electric PW to use. Thanks for the tips on this video 🤙🏽
Josh, Thank you for your reviews. Based on your reviews I just purchased a Ryobi 2700 electric for general house, deck and driveway cleaning. I also purchased a Flexzilla 50 ft hose and fillting adapter kit. The Ryobi is great but I am a little disappointed in the Flexzilla. It is not as flexible as I imagined. By all means better than the stock hose but not as flexable as I would like. Just FYI. Keep up the good work eviews.
Thank you for this video. I ended up buying that hose and the short wand with swivel and it had changed my detailing experience. I still had the stock hose that came with my Green Works Electric pressure washer and it was awesome what a difference the hose made.
Hey Josh, I hope that you or perhaps your those that follow you like I do can help me out with a dilemma when I upgraded my hose and went with the MJJC Foam Cannon Pro. My electric pressure washer that I am starting to regret is the Stihl RE 90. True to just about all Stihl, they purposefully make it hard to use anything but their products or service department who are generally not the most helpful when it comes to somebody who wants to fix or modify a Stihl product. Anyways, the OEM hose on it is a POS, and after getting the 50’ UBERFLEX from you I am trying everything in my power to every going back to that hose again. Of course the M22 x 14 on the UBERFLEX does not secure the hose on the pressure outlet of the Stihl that has the sides of the threads shaved or ground off which makes it somewhere in the 20-21mm size. I got the kits you mention but they are for “normal” washers and obviously not what the Stihl RE 90 is. I’m about ready to buy that Ryobi you have because I am tired of buying adapters that do not fit. Is there anyway you know or in your profession someone that can give me a clue on what to get next. It’s not a bad washer, but the crappy hose and gun are no match to the UBERFLEX hose and the stubby gun that I ordered as well. If there is any help or advice, and yes option #2 is the Ryobi, can you please let me know. Thanks so much.
Thank you so much Josh for this video. I was so stoked after I ordered my MJJC Pro V2 from you and when it came it was a let down to not be able to use it due to my Stihl RE 90 pressure washer. You read my mind with this video as I was going to ask you if you could recommend an upgrade to the crappy accessories that came with the RE 90. It’s a quality washer, no problems in 3 years, but the hose, spray gun and connections are just the worst. I didn’t want to buy the adaptor for the Stihl because the hose is just the worst one to kink and it’s stiff. I’ll be setting my self up nicely with the links that you provided below as it is not easy to try to figure out what is needed. That 14mm and 15mm is tricky but I’m doing it right and thank you very much for the info. If you know or any of the subscribers know if the RE 90 is a 14 or a 15mm at the pump I would appreciate it. I will not be using the Stihl sprayer now that you’ve shown me the one to get.
This is gonna blow up for new viewers/subscribers haha. Can you also do a video on the products you use on the body, windows, tires after you wash a car? Or let me know if you already have a video that covers this. Or do you just use a microfiber towel to dry off? Thanks!
Thanks for the wand swivel and quick connect tips. I already changed the hose and I use quick connects for the water hose but I wondered about the pressure hose.
Very helpful video thanks! Definitely will be upgrading my hose and adding quick connectors. Currently have a SunJoe Mod: SPX2598-MAX and not sure if I need the 15 to 14mm adapter or not?
Not sure whether you're still watching this one or not, but I'd really like to know if sticking that foam cannon on the end of a 24' extension wand connected to a 2.5 gpm 3300 psi Simpson pressure washer, works well and if so, what cleaner would you suggest for use on vinyl siding?

Well I took Josh's advise and got the hose, foam cannon, quick disconnect & short handle wand and I agree with Him all of these products really do make detailing Your car enjoyable. I got the 30 hose and it works fine for Me as I am only working on 1 car at a time.
Awesome and happy to hear!
30 seconds into this clip…..I already subscribed! Thanks homie! Love the info
Me too 😂😂😂

I stayed to see the Ford back there. I used to own a 69 Fairlane 500. Thanks for th3 content.
Absolutely beautiful car it is..😍😍
The paint job is awesome.
Keep up the great work👍🏼
Thanks Omar
So I had my first go with my new Ryobi 1800psi pressure washer, foam blaster and 18v leaf blower today for a quick wash.
Quick connects are an absolute necessity for quickly setting up and tidying up after, so they're in my cart right now.
I'll definitely get the 50ft hose - moving the pressure washer around is ok, but not ideal, shorter wand and a decent foam cannon too, the Ryobi one doesn't make that thick, clingy foam with Mr Pink.
From the video content to the links in the description, this guy knows how to create a high quality video. Kudos!!
Good stuff, I used a pressure washer on my 17 year old Mazda for the first time last week. Based on your other video, I ordered the 1.1mm orifice from Amazon. The upgraded hose will be my next purchase.
Yes i did this to my harbor freight pressure washer a few years ago love it.
McKillans Swivel Gun
Black Max 35' UberFlex Hose (Made in USA)
Ryobi 1900 PSI Pressure Washer
Armor All Foam Canon (Made in USA)
Meguiar's Gold Class Soap
upgraded my budget gun to mtm hydro with swivel and it changed my life. upgrading my budget foam cannon to mjcc pro game changer as well. didn't get the flexible hose but got a 50 ft with quick connects. also got a all in one tip for the gun that allows you to choose the degree by turning. i have to tell you though getting tire guides for the hose is my favorite upgrade. i guess it is related as it helps the hose glide around the car.
Awesome! What pressure washer are you using? The only issue with the all in one tip is that the orifice may be larger that what was standard for the pressure washer so you might lose some psi.
@@imjoshv harbor freight Portland 1750. Ya i got lucky on the Amazon adjustable. Works well enough i don't use the colored coded ones.
"The number one upgrade - quick connects!"
"The number one upgrade - upgraded hose!"
haha nothing wrong with two number ones! Great video and thanks for the budget-conscious links.
Very useful upgrades. I actually needed all of these. Just got an electric Ryobi 2300psi PW. I am just a weekend warrior.
I agree I have all that stuff 50ft uberflex mjjc cannon quick connect the gun and the surface cleaner for the driveway just a note i bought a longer wand to use with the disc to save my back lol these items make using the pw more like fun than work
Thanks for the straight, no BS recommendations with cheaper options, which misers like me are always thinking about! 😜
However, the swivel joint is a worthwhile purchase when there are no quick connects being used
Ordered a uberflex 50tf gets here tuesday. Ty for the recomendati9 s
Just ordered all these accessories. Thank you so much for the advice and great videos.
Great video, Josh. I just got the hose and it makes using the pressure washer so much easier. Highly recommended.
Thanks for all the videos, upgraded to the Uberflex hose and quick connects and love it. Great upgrades Thanks.
I just recently discovered your RUclips channel and have become a follower. That said, I am now going farther into debt because of your reviews. Thanks. Keep up the great job!
Haha I know sorry about that! But thanks for watching!!
Found a Ryobi 1600/1.2 cheap on Marketplace… ordered the Uberflex, quick connects, McKillan gun, Mr Pink soap… just need to decide on a foam cannon and I’m good to go. Thanks for all the tips
Awesome!
You bet! Glad you like the set up
I have the same washer, used it about 1/2 a dozen times in 2 years and the wand just imploded on me and is leaking like a sieve. But the washer itself is damn good. Thanks for the suggestions.
You sold me on both items will be buying now! I have the 20 ft factory and it is a pain ! And the long wand
Great video! These tips will definitely make detailing more enjoyable. Thank you!
You should do a video on pressure washer tips for mud..what's the best on gas and electric washers.
Great videos. FYI the link for the wand w/ swivel goes to a wand without a swivel (found out after it arrived)
Great video and recommendations ! I Just purchased the gun and hose you mentioned. I am a home owner using Ryobi 1900 psi that you reviewed not to long ago. Thanks again!
I don’t see the 50 foot hose available?
When using a foam cannon, should u apply ur foam to a dry vehicle or should I rinse my vehicle with water first? Also how long do u let ur foam sit? Sorry for all the questions! 😅 Great video, just bought a new wand with ur link 🙂
I always rinse the vehicle before I use my foam cannon. It removes loose dirt and dust before you foam cannon the car. Regarding the time you leave it on...by the time I am done using the cannon, it has sat long enough. Use your microfiber mit to start going over the car and then rinse.
What Jon said is correct!
@@TPA_JW Is a telescope mop head better than a microfiber mitt to clean. I notice these mop head types never say "microfiber." Hmm
@@carbar3936 the one I have has a micro fiber pad/mitt on the end. I need it to get the top of my truck which is lifted 6”. I purchased it on Amazon.
@@TPA_JW Thanks, Jon.
Hi, congratulation for the excellent video.
I have the AR Blue Clean 383.
Do you have any kit available for the upgrade of the hose, fun cannon and gun?
How you been liking it
Thanks for sharing your knowledge.Definitely gonna be using some of the products that you recommended.
Karcher uses 15mm iirc...been meaning to buy that hose thanks for reviewing it.
I found a working (without the wand/gun) order model Craftsman electric PW 1700psi @ the rubbish dump. Luckily I had a gun from a previous electric PW to use. Thanks for the tips on this video 🤙🏽
Walmart sells a 35' uberflex hose for $38 - Black Max 3800 Psi 35-Foot Hose. LA's Totally Awesome All-Purpose Cleaner is
Just stumbled across your channel this weekend and have been binge watching your videos. Great content.
Just FYI. Keep up the good work
eviews.
Some of the best vids on the RUclips
Thanks so much!
Thank you for this video. I ended up buying that hose and the short wand with swivel and it had changed my detailing experience. I still had the stock hose that came with my Green Works Electric pressure washer and it was awesome what a difference the hose made.
I Appreciate you for asking.
8:56 I like how you clarified the P & S 😂 "Penis Break Buster" sounds like a crazy wrestling move though
We all liked that clarification....
This is gonna blow up for new viewers/subscribers haha.
Can you also do a video on the products you use on the body, windows, tires after you wash a car? Or let me know if you already have a video that covers this. Or do you just use a microfiber towel to dry off? Thanks!
I can! Ill try to get on that soon!
Thanks for the wand swivel and quick connect tips. I already changed the hose and I use quick connects for the water hose but I wondered about the pressure hose.
hi I'm about to upgrade too, don't you think that just quick connects between gun and hose could do the job for swiveling too ?
I never know about the contamination down a drain that's good to know thanks
Thank you! Definitely going to use your links
I got the uberflex and the Mckillan’s gun you recommended and they’re great.
Awesome
Thanks for all the info. All my questions were answered. Ordered a lot from your suggestions.
Thanks again for all your help
No problem 👍
Thanks! Been looking to upgrade the craftsmen pressure washer I bought I few weeks ago.
I bought a flexzilla air hose, not compatible with petroleum oil based products.. clean it with silicone sprays too I think... Keep that in mind. 🤷♀️
Great suggestions! Your link for the gun with swivel takes you to a McKillans but without the swivel. Can you kindly direct me to the correct gun(s).
I noticed the same thing ... also the uberflex can't be found in 50.foot only 25 ..:( sad face
OOoioioioiiioikokiiooooiookooiooioiosooiiiii
These upgrades are very helpful.
Your videos are so informative and to the point. Really appreciate all the links too. Definitely going to be picking a bunch of this up.
Awesome thanks!
Great tips, easy to understand and with a list. Way to go, comps to you, appreciate it. JD
Anytime!!
8:55 yea you cleared that up quick, fast and in a hurry
Very helpful video thanks! Definitely will be upgrading my hose and adding quick connectors. Currently have a SunJoe Mod: SPX2598-MAX and not sure if I need the 15 to 14mm adapter or not?
Any response on which is needed for the SunJoe? 15 or 14mm?
Very well presented and articulated!
Thanks for the comprehensive video.
Super helpful. Can't take my eyes off the car tho. I'm in love.
8:56 Nice!
Much appreciated. Was thinking of getting a new hose. This is confirmation 👍🏾
No problem 👍
Great video and I really like your comprehensive list of equipment and sources. Thanks!
Thanks Nicholas!
Just got the mjjc pro v2 from your site.. 1 down. Just a few more to go. Thanks!
SEMA is a great show - Lots of good stuff .
just wanted to say I bought the 1.1mm orifice just because you mention it on all foam canons
