4:09 did you say 162 ?
Omg this is a great video tutorial
Make sure yall plug n chug them ports😂
Just that easy
That’s killer. It sucks when a product you pay good money for fails, but in this case it was a blessing in disguise.
Life happens. Just rolling with the punches 👊 😎

Do you have a Corsa CAI as well?
Nice video!Could you please tell. Maybe you remember what was the size of spacers? 15/20/25mm?
25mm
@@mcgurrentertainment thank you for the answer. I do very hope that 20 mm will be enough. Yes or no?
Depends on the wheels.
@@mcgurrentertainment thanks for the replay. Yes sure. Need to check some how.
Measure the air gap between the wheel spoke and the brake caliper. If there is a large gap, you may get away with a smaller spacer. If there is a 1/8" (3mm) gap, you will need the 25mm spacers.
That is way cool.love it.
Thank you!!!
You need you to get together with 10 people that have the same car as you have someone draw up ideas for the car then everyone makes 1 part cause if you did this on your own it would be a year to be able to show off your car.
All depends on your overall goal. If you're trying to create a showroom car, then that will take time.
I love those little lizards. They do pushups to regulate their body temperature!
😁
I hope you had a mask on while you worked that MDF; that shit is NASTY and probably carcinogenic.
Yea
thanks to you I save $100
Installed the radio and everything works perfect, except none of the air controls will work. They are lit up but won’t work and they are plugged in correctly. Any idea what could have happened and how I fix it? Thanks!!
Not sure. May need to contact the manufacturer
150 ft pounds is way to much for your lug nuts. Its supposed to be 60 ft pounds.

nice where did you get the color matching bezzel for the control buttons
Same people who made the steering wheel.
How do i give my radio internet access to my phone?
Not sure what you mean. Do you want the radio to access the internet through your phone?
@mcgurrentertainment yes. So navigation wont work or google or youtube. I can make calls and spotify from my phone but thats it. Im android based.
Andriod Auto is not working?
@mcgurrentertainment I never had to use android auto but its working great now thank you. Fantastic stereo
Man you have patience, beautiful work though!
Thank you
Another one! Thank you! 💯
Wow just now learning what that part goes too, The dealership left it on the passenger floor after replacing the filter. I hadn’t realized that…I believe they messed up my electrical outlets too. I’m learning to fix small things on my car. Thank you for your video!
I'm glad the video helped ☺️
Thank you for your content!
The obd2 port that are on the current wire harnessing dont fit the port that is on the car? Its a 16 pin connector
16pin sounds right. The shape doesn't fit?
I’m trying to do a mid wing on my 98 civic and it is kind of difficult compared to this😭
Where are you having difficulties?
This speaker is really inexpensive, how do they sound?
They sound ok. Nothing special. If you have a nice radio and want great quality audio, spend a little extra. Since this is mainly a work truck (and it's small), I didn't bother throwing quality at it. Good question.
@@mcgurrentertainment Thank you for the reply and the "how to"!
Anytime 😊
Having issues with the final 1.5gsm layer not hardening. Are we supposed to put mekp in with the wax as well? It's pretty cold in the Midwest right now so currently I'm just chalking it up to temps and needing more time.
Temp plays a huge factor in the resin process. Yes, MEKP and Wax on the last layers. How long has it been curing?
@@mcgurrentertainmentWeellll crap haha. Since about Monday, solely the resin and wax. Still soft. Think I could get away with a another thin layer of glass and/or a very small batch of resin/wax/mekp?
Might have to.
@@mcgurrentertainmentThank you! I'll try it tomorrow and hope it works out haha. I'll use a higher ratio of mekp due to weather, too
Thank you 🙏🏼 pure awesomeness!
Why not make a mould from the existing part and modify the mold to move the shock tower radius. It seems like it would be much faster.
It would be easier and faster. The idea of the video was to show the process, plus the existing part was not mine to modify.
If You use estirofoam, it's more cheaper, fast and maleable for the plug
Bravo.......Reynolds mold......they have spray on mold realise magic .....for fiber glass resin ,polyurethane, silicon molds stuff......cheers
Cool
Bravo.......I use the original part and fiber glass it ........I'm lowtec......cheers
I hope I never have to do this
Ok....I won't make you.
The window bounces only if you closed full. Leave a bit open and this wont happen. Indeed needed fix but until you fix this way you can avoid battery drain
Ok
A very good video, but I think you need to go ahead and train yourself not to say go ahead every five words… 🤪😉
How would be go ahead with that?
You just need to stop behind, and then you’ll be good to…. go…. 🤪
😁
wow 🎉
We have miniature gators at our house in Fl tooooo! 🤣
About how much beside the wood do you have in all materials?
I don't recall off the top of my head.
Not to tell you what to do but seems you might as well use 2k high build primer while you’re at it. Cut down steps, less over spray and cheaper on the long haul. Less pin holes. Can be sprayed at very low air pressure to cut down over spray to non existent. Or better yet with the MEK products spray Polly upoL Reface has no flash time on recoat. Stack it as high as you want and can be sanded smooth like butter.
That's a good option.
So it takes a month to make a small part
3 days....if it's cold.
You should try ripping pieces up to 3-4 inch squares. Multidirectional will give it more strength. It will also help with corners to remove air bubbles and help keep part from being resin rich. I make 1.5 oz parts by using 2 layers of .75 matte. I like to add some chopped/milled fibers to my resin in a separate cup and make a thick slurry for those troubled right angles. Been glassing for 20 years. Mostly Star Wars helmets and such. Add a little of flex resin and you wont be able to break it.
Good to know. Thank you for sharing
Wondering how you attached the boxes to the car.
They are currently press fitted. However, if there are any issues, a small piece of velcro will work. I had to do that method in the original (heavier) set.
Finally a guy who knows how to do fiberglass the correct way! Fantastic job albeit very painstaking. There really isn't any quicker way than how you did it. Its uncanny that you did everything exactly the way I would have, its almost like we learned from the same shop!
Thank you very much. It really does mean a lot. It's was a lot of work, thats for sure.
Why elevate the truck?
It is easier to turn the wheels left to right several times. Plus, it's easier on the tread.
Here is a question: can we bleed S197 calipers without taking the wheels off?
Maybe
Thanks for detail on removing the engine cover
😊 Anytime
Dude, I watched the entire video and I must say, you did a FANTASTIC job, of course there are multiple ways to skin a cat but the way you did it was/is perfectly fine. Great job bro!
Thank you very much
Did you use halogen lights for these
Yes. It came with them
Did you have any issues with your airbag light blinking while driving ?
No. That's an odd issue
Use shop air for demold work smarter not harder 😎👍
I did. Didn't help. Sadly
Sure, but that doesn't take away from the skills displayed in your tutorial! And the new founded appreciation into what goes on building one to perfection! Well done!
Thank you very much
Great work! I won't complain about a price if I ask someone to make me a set!
Thank you very much. I need to find a way to make them faster and easier.
Hey, thank you for the video as I have the exact same truck and want to do the same. The only question I have for you is how long of a rear camera cable do I need? Mine came with a 20 foot cable however I can’t get a 33 foot or 50 foot cable if needed
That's a tough one. I recommend using 20 feet for string to see if it will reach. Sadly, I did measure the exact amount required.
