HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 27 мар 2024
- We are going over the steps to fix the common window 1/4" bounce issue for the S550 Mustang. Sadly, some of the Mustang have a factory defect in which the passenger window will jump up and down (about 1/4") randomly. The solution in this video is not 100% guaranteed, however it has had positive results.

You’re an absolute life saver! I have only had my GT for a month and my window started to freak out on me. Looked at many forums, etc…saw everything from replacing motor to control module, but I followed what you did step by step and it worked! Thank you 🙏🏻
THAT'S AWESOME!!!! KUDOS. I'm very glad it helped
It worked for my 2016 convertible! Thanks for posting your explanation was very clear and made the whole thing hassle free. I’m sure my local mechanic would have tried to install a new motor and new wiring harness 😂!
That's awesome. Kudos!!!
A VERY well done EXPLANATION and DETAILED VIDEO. One of the BEST I've seen. Keep up the GREAT work, you're a god send to us Mustang owners. 👍👍👍👍👍
Thank you very much
Sir! Thank you very much, have same problem on my 2 mustangs. Did not try your method yet, but I think it will work! Dealer/stealer talks only about change, replace controller and motor! Thank you again!
Thank you. Let me know if it fixes the Mustangs.
@mcgurrentertainment hi. Did as described on one , fixed. Stopped moving. Will drive car today and see if it is ok. Thank you again!
Nice!!!! Kudos
Thenks 🇵🇱
Thanks, my 2017 started doing this 9 months ago. It happens randomly so the dealership couldn’t fix it because they didn’t see the issue when I brought it in.
Anytime. Let me know how it turns out
My 2015 GT just started doing this a couple days ago. Thank you so much for posting this video!! I did everything you did and voila! Problem solved! What's interesting is that I saw a tiny bit of blue corrosion on one of the small male pins. Cleaned them all with a q-tip dipped in rubbing alcohol, now all the pins look new. Thanks again, great video!!
That is fantastic!!!! I'm very glad it worked. Thank you very much for the positive feedback.
Awesome video and steps involved, thank you!
Great information! My 2020 GT Premium started doing this randomly about 4 months ago. Now I know what to do. Thanks.
Excellent. I noticed the window seal has a small gap at the front, allowing water to drain into the door at a location near to the electrical socket. I have popped a bit of grease into the gap to act as a seal.
Good to know and look out for. So far my 2015 hasn’t shown this symptom yet. Side note: it looks like the factory speakers aren’t paper. That’s pretty nice.
Paso a paso ..es increíble.. gracias me ayudaste a solucionar este problema en mi mustang gt 2016🎉
Thank you for the support
You are my life saver, my Mustang 2020 got the same issue
Thank you. I'm noticing it's special for that year (2020). Let me know how it turns out.
Thank you so much! I'm going to try it on both windows.
Let me know how it goes
Very informative video, I believe you can also apply grease to the door module connection too.
Thank you
Good video. I was getting ready to replace the latch acuator. I figured the problem would be there since that's what tells the system when the door is open or closed. But this will be much easier than replacing the acuator. I'll try this first and go from there.
Thanks
Let me know how it goes. Quick question: What year is your Mustang?
@@mcgurrentertainment 2016 gt
Gotcha. Thank you
That fixed it. Thanks for the info.
That's awesome. Thank you for sharing
Great video, got same problem. Will tackle mine later in the week. By the way, you haven’t had any problems with your climate control actuator have you?
Thank you. So far, there are no issues with the climate control [Crossing Fingers]
this would have been a good opportunity to upgrade your speakers and add some sound deadening material
Good call
Out of curiosity, since your the king of instructional videos on mustang :-) I have a set of Knight Rider lights on my 2015 mustang. I currently have them hooked straight to the battery, but every so often they turn them self's on (without pressing the remote to turn them on) Do you know of a fuse under the hood panel that is a Key on fuse? I've looked around online and have not seen anything showing the underhood panel
Nice. Well, off the top of my head, I know the fuse for the BCM Module (in the car). However under the hood, I had to pull the manual. It seems fuses F53 & F54 should energize once the vehicle has turned on. Also found a forum with the same conclusion:
www.mustang6g.com/forums/threads/2020-accessory-power-fuse-number.158259/
According to your 2015 owner's manual (www.fordservicecontent.com/Ford_Content/Catalog/owner_information/2015-Mustang-Owners-Manual-version-3_om_EN-US_03_2015.pdf), F53 is the Cigar lighter and F54 is the Auxiliary power point. Both are 20A M-case fuses.
Hope this helps.
@@mcgurrentertainment Thank you for the reply. I will try these ones out.
Same problem with my 2019 EcoBoost. Guess what I'll be doing this weekend? - Thank you
Thank you, Let me know how it goes.
Could you give me the link for the screen you put on the Altima
Threw me off for a min...saw this comment on a Mustang Video.

Why would you not want dielectric grease on the pins? That's what it is designed for.
Application should be done very carefully, as the grease will cut off the flow of electricity through the connection if some of it is left between the mating surfaces.
@@mcgurrentertainment it is made to go directly on the metal pins so they are not exposed to moisture or elements. Pack it in there and you will be good.
Hey, great video. I wanted to point you to ruclips.net/video/WYPdy9f6iv8/видео.html for another possible cause of the shorting which causes the bounce. This poster documents a loose wire in the regulator connector which leads to the short, which I think it's probably worth covering/adding to your already-excellent video!
Good stuff. Thank you for sharing!!! This is also very helpful.
