I bet that doesn't happen often by my last ride this year I was behind my ridding buddy on his 2 month old CAN AM SPYDER RT when he it a deer that ran out in front of him. He was shook up but had no damage and no injuries to himself. God was watching over him much like he was watching out for you.

Hey Spyder Wayne, I just purchased a 23 RT limited and a mini mate camper. I weighed it empty with spare tire and got a total weight of 345 lbs. I have pretty much the same equipment that you have and come up with a total weight of 540 lbs. Do you think the Spyder can handle that much weight? I’m planning a cross country trip in July.

Cool discovery. 😊 I have an e-bike but you’re a lot better at riding yours. I had the seat lowered and handlebars adjusted. Hopefully next spring I’ll improve. I crashed once. Just over a curb into a yard. Of course the owner was in her yard. Oh! And thanks to you & your videos I have a Mini Mate arriving Monday! Really excited about THAT! Winter now in MI and I’ll have to adventure through RUclips. 103 days until spring! 💕

Sorry for the crash, i had been through crashes with other ebikes so i know how hurt it was. Please get better helmet, and full gloves and some knee pads . Ebikes injury is very similar to motorcycle when crash. No joke. Best wishes from Florida. Please take care.

Great review, i have FW11S and pretty much same reasons why you bought it! Can not beat how it fit inside backseat of a car! I have over 1000 miles , it is amazing ebike. Thanks for sharing

The 2025s have redesigned keys with guess what? 😊 Its great that they FINALLY did something about this but in my opinion that key needs to go the way of the dinosaurs please allow me to explain. "What if" you lose your key on a trip and you didn't bring your spare? Here you are 500 miles from home in the middle of nowhere Alabama where the locals have never even seen a Spyder before. Most bike manufacturers using keyless start have a procedure to start your bike WITHOUT the key my 22 GW does and I know for a fact the newer Indians and HDs do. C'mon Brp elevate your game and when your done fixing that can we talk about shaft drives on ALL models and doing away with that corny startup procedure? Thanks for the post kind sir. 😊

I just watched your video with the Bouge RV 30 qt cooler. I’m not sure if you’re still using it but if you are what power station do you power it with? Do you hook it up to your bike while traveling? If so, what would the process be? Sorry for all the questions….

You faired much better than I did, I didn't have a single faring left on the front half of the bike, hood and mirrors gone too, laptop that was in the frunk was also mangled. Looks like you had time to brake, I caught mine at full highway speed.

DO NOT BUY THIS EBIKE ! I bought this ebike based on some reviews. Unfortunately, I am very disappointed with both: the ebike and the company. the design is really slick and this product might be great if it is working. Unfortunately, my ebike came with a defect. The left pedal does not align, making my foot slip out. Initially I was sent new pedals, then crank arm for replacement. Despite replacing, it did not fix the problem. I requested an exchange and the seller/vendor kept asking for images, videos, suggesting sending ebike to the bike shop etc. I waited 2 weeks for the replacement parts. Finally, when I decided to return it and asked for a refund, AMAZON 30-day return window has ended. At some point the PEDAL ASSIS stopped working, then after few days it worked again. The steel cargo rack is already rusting after one month. I reported all the problems but the vendor kept sending all kind of wired requests delaying the return. It seems like they did everything possible not to allow me to send this ebike back. Weirdly, on Amazon this ebike is sold for $650 + $200 shipping. On their website, you can buy one directly for $850 - super wired policy. They asked to send the bike only if it has no more than 10 miles, and obviously testing it after the pert replacement would take more than 10 miles riding all together. I ended up with the defective ebike and short of around $900. IT seems the bike has a defective crank shaft, but so far no replacement parts for that. Still negotiating with the vendor and it is super frustrating talking to people who pretend to be helpful, but they are doing everything possible to get rid of the customer. Asking the same questions over and over again. If you are looking for peace of mind, I recommend going with a different product. Especially if your bike will have any issues. Do not trust reviewers, as they only care to make a commission on your purchase and will not tell you anything negative (or true). WILDEWAY is certainly not the brand to go with :-(

Oh dear me Wayne, I am so sorry to hear this, I am glad you wear a helmet, so many do not on those bikes. Geesh what a guy, not watching what he was doing, or where he was going. LOVE the video, the falls are amazing!!

Sorry to hear/see bike accident. Even if the other bike was not at fault they should have stopped and checked on you. Hope you are well. Hopefully, we'll meet some day and talk sypder.

Wow, Wayne, I'm so glad you weren't hurt worse. I recently had a mishap on the motorcycle and you are correct, the adrenalin got me home but the following weeks with a cracked rib and bruised chest was not good! Godspeed on your recovery.

Poor way to end a beautiful ride. So glad you’re ok, considering. At our age, we don’t bounce back as easy as we used to buddy. Might have to go to a full face helmet riding the e-bike.

From the thumbnail pic, you look like a tough mobster from the movies, and I would have hated to see what the other guy looked like. 🥊 Seriously though, I'm glad you are ok and were wearing a helmet. Most people don't when riding ebikes, it seems. So cool to be able to ride it from your home to the falls, too.

Mention was made of getting some additional lighting up higher due to a trailer, yet when you separated the harness under the passenger seat I did not notice a wiring harness for trailer lights. My question is, do the installation instructions make mention of what to do if you have a previously installed trailer harness in the location of where the top case lights are supposed to plug in? In other words is there room to tuck away both a top case lights harness and a trailer harness?
