Happy New Year, Richard. You know I was thinking about calling you Rocket Richard, because of the decals on your Spyder... but that name was taken almost 80 years ago by someone else from Quebec, in 1945, the first 50-goal scorer in the NHL 🏒 Bonne Année mon ami !!!

Way to go Wayne!!!! That retirement home that you are looking for down south is going to have to have a three car garage!! I’ve heard really good reviews on that bike and they are affordable. Looking forward to hearing about your thoughts and experiences! Happy new year
The regular MSRP is well below all its competitors, and this dealer had two left from 2022, so they discounted it over 30% to get them sold, couldn't resist. Year-end deals are wonderful.. The reviews on it are very good. The features this thing has are amazing, including a 2-year warranty. Pipes sounds great. It's not a rocket, but it has more power than this old fart will ever need. It'll be fun fun fun. Happy New Year Pete, all the best in 2024. Hope to be riding with you !! 😄☺️😁👍👍
We've had a mild February, and 2 weeks into retirement I've been able to get a bunch of rides in on the new toy, have to keep it under 4000 RPM for the 600 mile (1000 km) break-in. It'll be broken-in and the 1st service done by spring (late March) and will be ready to fully enjoy the fun it offers. This summer is going to be filled with retirement riding and travels that I've only been able to dream of... until now 😊😅 Thanks, Roger 😁👍
Congratulations on the new bike and the upcoming retirement!!! That ADV bike should be a lot of fun!! I think you have all the areas covered now. Maybe a snowmobile next, too??
Haha, well many years ago, I certainly loved all the winter activities, especially hockey... but now that I'm older and wiser, I prefer the same weather that the bikes prefer 🌞 Thanks Scott, and Happy 2024 👊😎👍
Wow! That's a pretty dang nice retirement gift! Congrats on the new bike and on your retirement... On behalf of us previously retired folks... Welcome to the club!🤠👍
It will be great if the 3 of us can ride together. I feel like I've known Patrick a couple of years... so I'm looking forward to meeting him for the first time. I'm pretty sure that will happen in 2024. 😁👍
Hey three is better than two in my books lol good on you man .... Very nice bike buddy and I think you will enjoy it very much... And why not get some more toys as it helps pass the time and changers up things a bit. All the very best in the new year to you and your family and catch you on the next one.
Right on, and you betcha 😁 Prior to 2022, I never thought about owning more than 1 bike. It's really a treat now to step into the garage... and go... Eeny, meeny, miny, moe 🙄🤔😁😄👍 Happy 2024 to you and your family, Roland !!
Hello Spyder Wayne, I am still working my way through your videos, very nice bike there and yes I am jealous, not that i can ride two wheel anymore due to ms (er I can just right leg does not work) that's why I am a proud F3S owner with a ISCI Ride handbrake kit 😎😎
The Spyder is certainly the machine that allows us to extend our riding years well into the future. I was 60 when I bought my first Spyder in 2020. After 2 years without riding 2 wheels, I thought, hey why not do both while I'm still able. The Spyder will be my forever touring machine, along with my Mini Mate camper, but the other 2 bikes are for fun, giggles, and smiles 😊😁😆👍👍
First and foremost, congratulations for your retirement Wayne. It is definitely one of the most important (and waited) milestones in our lives. Secondly ….. the CF is really kicking out of the park and I loved the looks of the bike. I thought it was a KTM ! I can’t wait to hear about your impressions and review. Cheers 🍻 amigo
This retirement thing is kind of like learning how to swim, we only retire once... well most of us, so it's all new, gotta jump in, and hope you can swim, and enjoy the fun. 😊😁😀🤗 There's a lot of KTM influences in the CFMoto motorcycles. Thanks, Eddie 👊😎👍
Congrats on retirement and on the bike! I have never heard of that bike but you have all bases covered. Your poor car cant fit in the garage any more! So were your 43 years at the same place? What are you retiring from?
Oh yes, the car fits, a little tight, but it's a small car. As for 43 yrs, I'll try and make a long story short. I started with Goodyear Canada in 1981 (owned by Goodyear Tire). Transferred to Goodyear Tire, in Ohio, in 2001. Transferred to Goodyear-Dunlop North America in 2005 ( owned by Goodyear Tire ). The facility I'm in was acquired by Sumitomo Rubber in 2015. So, I have just under 43 yrs of service, which stayed with me through each transition, if that makes sense, retiring at the end of January 2024 😁🤪👍
That is great that all your toys and your car fit fun the garage. Thank you for sharing the info on your amazing career. It is rare to hear that someone can stay with a company for their entire career. I am in Cyber Security and gravitated towards start ups which often failed or got acquired by others so change happened without me at times. I have been in one place for the past 10 years which is unheard of in my field. I am will be living vicariously through your vlogs until I can retire someday. @@SpyderWayne
Congratulations Wayne and happy retirement! I went to look at the CFMoto lineup a few weeks ago. I wanted to have a look at the ibex but unfortunately they didn't have one in stock. That bike looks sharp and sounds great. Use it in good health.
The dealer had 1 Ibex, and it looked awesome, way more power than the Adventura, but it was almost double the price due to the heavy discount on the Adventura, and this one has more than enough power for my taste. But the Ibex was really sweet 😋. Thanks, Rich 😁👍
Enjoy the new ride and congratulations on retirement. Adventure riding looks to be pretty fun, wish I had tried it back before when I could ride two wheels easily. I grew up dirt riding and in fact my first two street bikes were scramblers (Triumph Trophy250, and a BSA 650 Firebird Scrambler) then at 18 I mainly switched to street riding at 64 switched to the Spyder because of my knee. The blessing was my wife is no longer a passenger as she Rides a 900 Ryker now. Anyway you have a nice garage of bikes, I like the Royal Enfield, I found you on Jody’s channel so I will check back for more.
Thanks Dan, as you know, Jody & Tom are very special people. I bought my first Spyder in 2020, and the Spyder will be my forever touring ride. After 2 yrs of missing 2 wheels, I brought home the Royal Enfield and call me crazy, I just wanted a little more fun in my garage so I added the Adventura. It doesn't matter what you ride, as long as you enjoy the ride. The Spyder, & Ryker makes it possible for those of 'senior' riders to continue riding into the sunset for years to come 👊😎👍
Bob said it's more like a mid-life crisis bike lol. It is beautiful. You should always come first. Congratulations on your new bike for to see videos on it
