Thank you very much for this crystal clear tutorial! Will definitely help me a lot since I'm a total newbie in the moto world. 😁 Take care and safe travels!
Woot Woot!! You are ready to hit some trails.........FUN adventures for you coming in 2024. We have a few guys that ride PanAm in the Ride for Dad, in fact they are talking about a ride for adventures bikes soon. NOW that would be cool.
Lots of patience you have - haha love the bloopers!!! I got a new tour pak too and love that the helmet fits inside. Its a bonus for sure. You have lots of room now for some travelling and can pack quite a bit of gear.
Great update to your new bike Wayne. The top case is a game changer and not only handy for trips but also when I am doing grocery shopping. After so many years riding with side and top cases I couldn’t live without them
I've been leaving the door into the house open in my last few garage videos. When Cassie hears me in the garage, she barks. Her barking is in a few of my videos. Now, she doesn't bark. She just goes in & out & in & out & in & out.... 😁😅
Thanks Chewie 😁 ... can't wait to pack stuff and go riding. It might be a while. The bike has only 19 miles on the odom, from the cold ride home from the dealer, hoping for an early spring 👊😎👍
Great job on the install, Wayne. That's great you can fit your full sized helmet in any one of the three bags. You'll be sport touring on the your new bike in no time.
The storage on the bike is really nice !!! I don't think I'll do extended trips on this bike, but it's nice to have an option to throw a tent and gear on it to take off for a few days. 2024 is looking to be a blast. Thanks, Eric 🤗😁👍
Haha, well, I enjoyed the cold ride home from the dealer. It's got a whopping 19 miles on the odom, sitting in my garage. Can't wait to ride it... who knows when, though 🥶😅👍
Hmmm, the bike is not quite ready. Crash bars are on the way from China. I hope I'll never need crash bars... but I know I'm going to need "drop" bars 😁😅👌 I had a couple more bloopers, but the video was already long enough.
The CFMoto 650 Adventura is the U.S. version of the CFMoto 650 MT. The Adventura was only offered in 2022 and 2023, but not in 2024. If you can find a new one, you should be able to get a sweetheart deal. My dealer had this 2022 Adventura still in inventory, brand new. The MSRP was only $6799. With CFMoto rebate and dealer discount, I got it for $4900 plus all the usual fees, taxes, etc, It was just over $6k, for a brand new bike !!! It's pretty much identical to the Kawasaki 650 Versys. It is fun to ride, very comfortable, 2 yr warranty, with pretty good tech on the bike, 100% LED lights including turn signals, and you can't beat the price. Comes standard with 2 hard shell cases by Shad, both cases can hold a full face helmet. Most after market parts are available on AliExpress. CFMoto USA has limited accessories. I ordered the Top Case in this video from CFMoto USA. But I had to order handguards, and engine guards (crash bars) through AliExpress, took about 2 weeks to be delivered from China. So far, I absolutely love this bike, and I think it looks great !! Thanks Rich 😁👍
@SpyderWayne I found a brand new 2022 in Florida for $4488. I've been thinking about it. I'm just not sure what I want to do for a bike. I've got too many road bikes so I was thinking of a dual sport but most ADV guys say your better off with something lighter. The other thing is that although riding off road seems attractive, I have no experience and at 70 years old, I don't want to get hurt. Everyone I know who rides off road, runs into terrain that they didn't expect and many of them have fallen, damage their bikes or themselves. Getting old sucks. Maybe I should just stick to my cross country trips and call myself lucky to be able to do those. Thanks for the good info and videos. Be well.
@HaveMotoWillTravel I'll be 65 this year, so not too far behind you, and to be honest, I may never do any major or challenging off-road riding at all. Both wheels on this bike are 17-inch wheels. For challenging off-road, you need a larger wheel up front. The stock tires are on road tires, no knobs at all. You need knobbier tires for challenging off-road rides. I wanted something that could handle light to moderate off road riding, just so that I have an option to do some off road riding if I needed to, but I also wanted something in between a dual sport and a sport touring bike that does well for travelling, but with ADV styling. This one fit perfectly for my needs. Whatever bike you decide on, it just needs to be something you will enjoy riding 😁
Good video, that case looks great and nice match for the saddle bags. I will be curious how your new bike does once you get some decent riding weather and will check back.
Spring is around the corner, the new bike has only 40 miles on it, during the break-in, (for 600 miles), I'm supposed to keep rpm under 4000, after that I can begin to really get to know the new bike, where the fun HP and Torque is at over 7000 rpm, I can wait for that, but it will be fun 😁👍
Is that top case's latch secured? It looks like someone could just come, push the latch to remove the case from the mount, and take the whole top case away.
The case has 2 latches, the top latch opens the lid, the lower latch releases the case from the rack. When you lock the case with the key, it locks and secures both latches.
Haha... It's even worse when you take stuff apart off your bike, and then seeing those "extra" nuts/bolts/washers leftover after you put your bike back together... don't ask me how I know that 😳🙄😫😭
Thank you very much for this crystal clear tutorial! Will definitely help me a lot since I'm a total newbie in the moto world. 😁 Take care and safe travels!

Yes, I'm looking forward to a bit of adventuring. And it is kind of nice to step into the garage and go .. eeny meeny miny moe... 🤔😃😆👌
Nice that rack was actually made for that bike!
Good job, Wayne! Lil Xtra storage is always a good thing... looks great!
Can't wait til spring so I can ride it 😂
LOL, the bloopers at the end were great. That top case looks good and more importantly, functional!
Those weren't the only bloopers, but the video was long enough already. Now, I just gotta wait for a nice day to ride again. Thanks, Jeff 😁👍
Lots of patience you have - haha love the bloopers!!! I got a new tour pak too and love that the helmet fits inside. Its a bonus for sure. You have lots of room now for some travelling and can pack quite a bit of gear.
You can't throw junk in the trunk if you don't gotta trunk, so I got me a trunk, haha. Thanks, Gloria 😁👍
Well, you did a great job and made that look easy, Wayne! Great job and awesome that your helmet fits inside!
I can't get a frunk, but I'm happy now that I can carry junk in my trunk, !!! 😊😁🤗😂
junk in your trunk sounds vaguely familiar...hmmm lol@@SpyderWayne
@@PurpleOnThree Yeah, it does sound familiar 😉🤗
Great update to your new bike Wayne. The top case is a game changer and not only handy for trips but also when I am doing grocery shopping. After so many years riding with side and top cases I couldn’t live without them
Yep, I just had to get the top case... too bad I can't add the frunk that my Spyder has 😁👍
Great install Wayne 👌
I needed a trunk to carry junk😂 Thanks, Larry 😊👍
I see you had a little helper 😉😊

she's just supervising lol@@SpyderWayne
Nice 😎👍
😁👍
Great top box mate. Well done.

@@SpyderWayne Wishing you a very short winter.

Enjoy your new ride

Gotta have some bloopers! 😁
I left out a bad blooper,, first time I tested unlatching to remove the trunk, I dropped it 😳😆
oh wow!!@@SpyderWayne
Great job and love the bloopers 😂.
Hey RJ... you gave me that idea today when I took a break from editing to watch your video 😅😊👍
Well done!! The bike looks ready to hit the trails!!!! I love the bloopers, but I would have had about an hours worth of them if I was doing this!😂😂😂
Hmmm, the bike is not quite ready. Crash bars are on the way from China. I hope I'll never need crash bars... but I know I'm going to need "drop" bars 😁😅👌 I had a couple more bloopers, but the video was already long enough.
@@SpyderWayne yes, drop bars are very important! Once you get the first drop out of the way, the rest are easier!😂🤣😂
Easy peasy chicken squeezy! 😉🤗
😊😅🤗
Thats a lot of storage, good job Wayne, are we ready to ride? this is gonna be fun!!
It sure is going to be fun JB 👊😎👌
I'm waiting on crash bars, had to order them from China.
👍👍
🤗
Nicely done Wayne great job I just installed a shad X58 top case as well on my F3S . Great video too
If that means you now have a 58 L top case, that is lots of storage 😁👍👍
Wayne, you going to add a trailer hitch?
Nicely done.
Nope, not big or powerful enough to tow, it's a 650... but it can carry a tent and camping gear 👊😁👌
Well done video, Wayne. I'm actually considering the Adventure based on your videos. Thank you.

I hate extra washers or any extra parts after my installs 😂
