This is my outlet to explore and examine my obsessive/compulsive behavior for the benefit and/or entertainment of others. By nature, I would probably have been one of those guys that would convert every square inch of free space in my house into a magnificent model railroading setup... except that I grew up in the digital age and can do all that and more in a virtual/digital environment... which saves me a lot of money and my marriage.
With that said, I think it is fair to say that the chances are pretty good that few other people play builder/sandbox computer games in the same way or scale that I do. However, My obsessive/compulsive nature can be interesting to others and the end results and the ways I achieve those results may be of practical or entertainment value to others.

I LOVE the Create mod and in fact, I am working on a script for it… but it is HUGE compared to the other mods I have covered and so the video will be the biggest scripted project I have ever done. It is so big that I can’t just focus on it or else it might be a month or two until my next video. So I work on it at least one day per week and one day… you will see it here.

"not a weapons platform" clearly you have not seen what the Ukrainians are doing with drones, some grunts and crafts stuff going on over there.
The drone in the mod is certainly not a weapons platform.
i also recommend an add-on for this mod, it's called "Man of many Planes". fits in well and adds a few extra planes. Still great video, and you got a subscriber!

8:26 You can chop down any tree almost instantly with a mechanical saw from create and powering it with a handcrank. It will drop the logs and sapplings as normally does too
Be careful with the really tall trees though... it drops them in a line heading away from you... so the bits from the tall trees get really distributed.
And pack LOTS of food. ;-)

I respect this mod's existence for all the builders out there, but I can't stand it. It's in basically every modpack, it adds 40 or so pages to JEI and the blocks are always incompatible with other mods.
I understand. With the mod mix I normally run, there are literally hundreds of pages on my JEI. I had to get used using search or die of thirst and hunger before I found what I was looking for by browsing.

I don't really play games these days or watch people that do very often, but this is very touching to see. The internet was supposed to be all about having the tools to make your own thing, but instead everyone feels the need to all make the same one thing it seems. Whether or not you find "success" doing this, you are doing what many successful creators cannot, and that is doing exactly what you want to do the way you want to do it. I wish you the best!

RUclips recommended this to me and I am glad I found this channel! One of my favorite things about Minecraft is watching someone plan out and build something elaborate. You should give livestreaming a try because it combines elements of a lets play and a podcast, especially if you have multiple people on stream. I'm sure there are a lot of people who would be interesting in watching big projects in motion with discussions about random things.
I would love to livestream... but with modded Minecraft... or at least my particular mix in my homebrew modpack, my machine is barely able to keep is smooth and playable enough. Doing the live stream on top of that will bring it all crashing down. However, I do agree... and I hope that at some point, I will be able to upgrade my current machine to something much MUCH beefier... and then I would very much like to livestream. Unfortunately, that might be a while with things going on in my life... so I am seriously thinking of doing some long play videos... as I am already doing all of that anyway, and it is where I get a lot of my footage in my regular videos. The problem is that doing the longplays before the actual video might take some of the "gee whiz" and surprise factors out... so... I think I will probably post the longplays of an episode AFTER that episode is released. I will have to wait and see how folks react. My research shows that there are plenty of videos like this out there already and they seem to be popular enough... and once I start posting those, I would love for folks to watch them and then kick off beefy conversations in the comments about style, technique, planning and design... and all that rich goodness.
Also this way you implemented the camera panning throughout your world was mesmerizing and I think complemented your audible thoughts very well.
I really hoped that it would help. I think Minecraft worlds can be amazingly beautiful places to explore... and if you run with shaders, the beauty is amplified by an order of magnitude. Add to that some ambient sound mods and a bit of roadbuilding and landscaping... and you have yourself a pleasant "drive". But that is the kind of vibe/effect I am trying to achieve in this world... so I am REALLY jazzed that it touched you in that way. Thank YOU!!!
