- From the ashes of Gryphon Hall rises the reboot... Gryphon Manor. The overall goal is the same, but this time I will integrate the things I learned from the first series to produce something that is bigger, better, and more permanent. I hope you will join me on this little adventure.

This seems like an exciting new series, can't wait to watch them all!
Thank you! I hope you enjoy it. Feel free to post any feedback you might have... both good and bad. It all helps!
Just finding out this series exists, my new study series!
I am jazzed you found it. I hope you enjoy it!
I've had to drop terralith as well. It's a lovely mod but it has compatibility issues with a few smaller biome mods as well. I've also swapped out Biomes O plenty with regions unexplored along with tectonic for core world gen.
I really liked Regions Unexplored, but at the time, there wasn't anything I could do with all that wood except for the most vanilla of vanilla uses. I've stuck with BoP because it has become common enough that a lot of mods and datapack have built in compatibility.
But yeah, I love the look of Regions Unexplored. It is vibrant.
@@worldbuilder248 It also seems to be a lot more performant which in my monstrously bloated pack is essential..
So say we all! So many mods... so little CPU.
@@worldbuilder248 Alas, my restraint regarding these matters is weak. On a somewhat more uplifting note, newer versions of the game seem to be a lot more stable and willing to take on a larger workload. My hardware limit is around 640ish until I run into RAM troubles.
Holy moly! 640 mods?!?!?! I thought I was bad with around 260... but apparently, I am a lightweight!
I am close to finalizing the mix for my new series. FPS is great, the variety of mods is great. Everything is great... almost. At the moment, I am having periods of single player latency... the game acts like it does when you are playing on a server and your Internet connection is bad... I can move in the world but the elements of the world are frozen or unresponsive, then I suddenly go back in time several seconds and all the stuff I did was undone.
I have investigated, and my ticks show the problem... my transmit ticks (TX) are hovering around 10 while my receiving ticks (RX) are in the hundreds... and when I hit that unresponsive stage, F3 is reporting that it is creating a chunk.
So... how I got here... I started using Distant Horizons... and I love it. But I had problems. One by one, I ditched my perf mods for chunks... and I think I am down to just Noisium... and the problems with Distant Horizons are gone... but now I have this latency problem.
My guess is that I need to experiment with some of those chunk-related mods to see if I can find a mix that still improves performance without screwing up distant horizons. Any thoughts?
