I think this really shows that the Warden is meant to be evaded, not fought. Full Netherite with good enchants plus a bunch of consumables is needed to kill the thing if you don't cheese it and the drops are, shall we say, less than fantastic. Killing the Warden doesn't even stop another from spawning immediately.
@@GGGmod1 Yes, if it bleeds you can kill it, but the cost/benefit for killing the Warden is really bad if you don't cheese it. It will beat up your armor. It will make you use potions and totems and gaps. And your reward will be... what exactly? Right, the point isn't that it's unbeatable. It's that you are better off NOT trying to to beat it.

Ugh. As a player who has completely maxed out gear There's NO incentive for me to explore the deep dark. There's no good loot and the warden isn't even worth defeating because it might as well drop nothing. It's like installing a Sims 4 stuff pack, playing with it for 15 minutes before never returning to it ever again. That's what the mild update feels like to me.
Mojang has to understand why some people want to kill this thing. With full protection 4 netherite armor you can survive nearly anything. With a sharpness 5 netherite sword you can kill almost any mob with no more than two hits. At that point the power kinda starts to go to your head. I’m pretty sure the only way they could prevent the player from trying to kill the warden is if they made it immune to literally every type of damage
For me, I'm just someone who likes boss fights and just sees the Warden as a superboss to challenge myself against. Mojang is misjudging its userbase. We are proud bastards.

The whole "you aren't supposed to kill the warden" was a bad idea in my opinion. The first thing I did is try to kill the warden....which I did multiple times. But, it is always a letdown because it takes a bunch of resources and I get nothing in return. I either need to burn through a stack of golden apples while fighting it or create a small army of Iron Golems first. This is how I would change it: -Keep Warden health the same -Decrease power of its hits a little bit. -Eliminate the sonic boom...or at least lessen the reach of it. If you are behind 3-4 blocks of a wall, you should be safe from the sonic boom. -Warden spawns randomly from shriekers, perhaps a 1/3 chance every time - so you are not guaranteed a warning. -Warden can BREAK BLOCKS while chasing you. Blocks slow him down, but don't stop him. That would make him possibly more terrifying than he is now, while also giving the player a chance to fight back a little bit. -Make the warden drop a ton of experience and some cool new item(s)

The fact that the gameplay of raiding the ancient city is quite intense, having to sneak all the time and be super cautious while opening chests (+ having to be afk for 30 minutes to get 3 warnings off you chest), but the moment you intend to challenge the menace in combat, the Warden really becomes the worst boss ever. I wish there wasa way to choose between killing a weaker version of the warden to continue raiding the ancient city, or use some kind of item to let the warden go full strength on you, but also drop the treasure locked in his heart, via the key to opening the ancient portal.
This dude should be the prince of beating the Warden in Minecraft. I just saw this video, and it blew me away how he did this in one shot. This is so amazing.
Sucks that mojang decided to force stealth because minecraft is meant to be a SANDBOX game and the warden is kind of a “you have to do stealth bc of all the bs we added to the warden!!!”
They should update the game and the item should be called a “Warden Heart” and it is used to make a new potion called Potion of Warden Master! (which gives you LOTS of strength, but it gives you blindness)

Sneaking is the best way to fend off the warden because I am not that much-dared person to take the warden down. It's only the stubborn ones who fight the warden, getting ready to death. Defeating the Warden is a feat much greater than defeating the Ender Dragon.

I think that defeating it should atleast drop a placeable warden head, much like the dragon heads from the end boats. Would be a cool reward

Sneaking is the best way to fend off the warden because I am not that much-dared person to take the warden down. It's only the stubborn ones who fight the warden, getting ready to death. I'm not kidding, this is just crazy! It's more than a challenge and I don't appreciate that! Why don't they take the warden away? It's insane to have a thing in minecraft that manages to take us down in seconds even we fight!
Not many battles in Minecraft require this amount of heavy resources
This is a good example of the side quest being harder then the final main quest. This or the battle frontier from pokemon emerald lol.
