well made bottle cages but I find them to grip way too tight on standard bottles. I prefer the cheaper SWORKS cages I had on my previous bike. its hard to get the bottle in and out while going fast on the Arundel ones
The Arundel are stiff but easy to re holster. I had a works cages and lost a few bottles trying to holster them 😂
I'm thinking about getting an S5, and I'm coming from a Venge... Any comparison? From what I've seen and read, it's probably the same sort of ride in terms of stiffness.
I only rode a venge vias. The cervelo feels just like it except the cervelo is not as harsh. It absorbs road buzz, chatter and actually pretty compliant for a deep tube frame
Just got it today. Excited to go for a ride! Cheers
Regarding your comments with regards to feeling every bump and road surface imperfection, what pressure were you running your tyres ? (apologies as I know this is 2 years old.)
Hey, I had latex and 25mm tires and 25mm tubeless and ran between 75-85psi
Dude you have a strange foit shape. Wide in the middle.
Yea it suxks
Those tubeless tires are just too heavy. That's why I run michalin power cup clinchers 28c (31wam) with tpu tubes.
I'm expecting the updated 242 today which if all goes well will replace my Bonts. I quite like the look of the 242.
weirdly enough, your voice is very soothing, i sleep listening to your videos reviewing shoes 😂, you earned my subscription. i am waiting for my cx332
My bike - Factor. Wife bike - Cervelo. RUclips is amazing.
Nice!
I've had an issue where the headset feels loose. Which screw do I tighten to adjust the headset tension?
Look me up on IG so we can chat and send pics easier
Do you think the sidi shot 2 is better than the shimano 903 . Tried the lakes and S Works torch and too much heel lift in them. .
I have had the best luck with Sidi Shot due to my foot shape.
Headset adjustment is also important... Any mis adjustments will effect handling ... Stem length, short is skid ish long is slower and more controllable . It's definitely not a pleasant experience.
I am actually standing before the decision between and Epic Evo or Spark Team right now. This helps, thanks mate.
If it feels better you may perform better regardless of data
I'm running Ridenow 19g TPU's in my 28mm GP 5000 clinchers on Reserve 40/44's. I really want to try the Corsa Pro's
Please for them, to charge anohter $200 for a poorly engineered item instead of replacement /fix at no charge to the customer is a slap in the face
I had a faulty Stages unit. Stages went out of business. 4iiii replaced the Stages unit for 200 bucks. I disputed my credit card on the stages order and got my money back. So only paid 200 for the power meter.
Fizik VENTO OMNA WIDE Saved my legs!
Thank you for the nice review!
the 4iii on my cannondale never worked , because water gets into the battery cover and messed it up . thats why I just rely on my assioma pedals which I swop between my 4 bicycles.
They revised the housing.
Went to the bike shop set on a Fizik and the owner told me to try this one first. Not only is it cheaper but just as comfortable. Didn't have my bibs with me so i tested it out in regular shorts and even then it felt good. Great buy.
I don’t have a fit comment. My question, is the bike comfortable on gravel?. I’ve seen reviews saying it’s super stiff and non compliant. Curious your opinion/experience, thanks.
I find it comfortable as hell. Most comfortable frame I ever rode besides my Scott addict team issue. I would steer totally the gravel frame as the fork is different as well as the seatpost which is designed for more flex.
@@addictcyclist Thank you, very much appreciate the feedback!
What size are the hub bearings in the rear ?
What’s the size?

Absolutely understand your standpoint. Everybody has to decide what he wants from a tire. I ride on rough roads and therefore tubeless is a no brainer.
Age old debate. Weight or rotating resistance. iirc Orange seal recommends 1-2oz of sealant. Weight weenies use 1oz. 280 g for tire + 35g for 1 oz sealant = 315 vs 280g for regular tire with TPU. Seems negligible either way. Can 35 grams be felt spinning up?
On my Ostro running a 250g gp5 clincher + 25g TPU. 275g total. Gp5 st r 280g + 35 for 1 oz, 70 for 2oz. I run 2 oz. I can feel that. Not at speed, but at initial acceleration. Feels muted and less responsive. All personal preference.
@@addictcyclist I've often wondered what effects the sealant sloshing around adds to watts or also to handling dynamics at high speeds. My understanding is that rolling resistance tests tests tires dry. But maybe I'm wrong there.
@@richcole3931 I think BRR test with 20ml of sealant, which is effectively dry.
@@kpizzle1985 good to know, tks
You are wrong boy, rolling resistance doesn't come from weight. It does come from elasticity of materials. Latex is the material with less rolling resistance which is in par with some tubeless setups.
I’m not here to debate. Stay tuned for follow up video clarifying some data and experience.

Stop using metric and imperial. Choose one or the other! Talking about grams and then lbs, gtfo with that nonsense
What brand of Tpu tubes are using, I’m using the Pirelli ones and no issues but expensive.

feelz vs. rolling resistance data?
No debate from me on the data. Lighter spins up faster. 110g for oz sealant vs 50g in TPU
ruclips.net/video/a664L_Mc9o4/видео.htmlsi=u1-Vz-LLccD_OFoL
The Corsa Pro are great racing tyres but aren’t very robust for training……they are easily punctured and wear quickly, good luck. Not sure why you find TPU more responsive, the science begs to differ……
Tpu is lighter and less rotating weight. 25g tube vs 80 2oz sealant per tire. Unsprung weight matters when looking to spin up and feel punchy. Tubeless may be less rolling resistance per the science. Science also proves less rotating weight at outer most part of the circumference is faster to spin up.
sorry, guy: CF bikes cost the Earth to buy, but lose a massive amount in the second hand market. Those offers were probably about right.
They are decent offers, just not enough to pull trigger.
Knowing good & well you don’t want to sell that Bike! Plus big Bro, folks be *hella cheap. You present a good deal, they want a better deal, 😒 *SideNote: TeamTubeless, 🙌🏾😆 #RobbArmstrong
Glad you kept it!
Need to give it more time. Coming off the system six to the Factor Ostro, ostro is fast, light, and punchy. The s5 truely is a fast machine that likes to be pushed. Just not as snappy but makes up for it in overall speed. Can close gaps easier but not as fast and punchy like ostro. But can close gaps with less power.
What tires do you like using on the Ostro? Which have you found to be the easiest to mount on the Black Inc wheels?
I have GP5000 28mm clincher on Ostro with TPU tunes since they are light and have good puncture protection. All tires mount easy when you have this tool!! www.amazon.com/dp/B0BN8MS3C1/ref=cm_sw_r_as_gl_api_gl_i_Z9V47XS20NT5YNDJ568D?linkCode=ml2&tag=addictcyclist-20
@@addictcyclist Thanks for the suggestions!
two more tan lines :D
Been good lol I’m out and back before the sun takes a beating on me lol
Hi! I have a question. my feet are wide and typical flat duck feet. my biggest problem right now is hot spots. would be specialized footbed recomended for you? (also, I have tested at the specialized shop and I've got blue. what makes me still undecided about buying still not sure and also the price).
Hi, this is an older video. I only use Solestar Kontrol (red) in all my road and mtb shoes. Absolutely amazing. I have a discount code with them and they have a 6 week trial. Addictcyclist20off
I’ve been using Ridenow TPU TUBES for 6 months with my Continental 5000, beautiful combination, they roll beautiful, great puncture resistant and they stay inflated for a good 4-5 days , just a little air loss. Also I’m able to carry two TPU tubes in my saddle bag along with 2 Co2 cartridge. Never going back to regular tubes
How have these challenge latex tubes hold so far? I've been using the Vittoria ones and with a pair of GP5000s never had a puncture after 7000+kms, have been considering the challenge ones for the same reason and also they're a few grams lighter than the vittoria ones.
They are good. I like Silca the best actually due to the fact they come with fresh valve extenders if you buy that pack.
My neighbor went back to butyl tubes because the tpu would lose air over time and went flat
I inflate every ride no matter that. Tpu holds air pretty well.
Hi, had the same scenario happen a few weeks ago on a descent at 35mph on a Lauf. This is probably the smoothest most stable bike I have owned. Like you said it was terifying!!
So crazy! Just a perfect storm of conditions. Wind, speed, road conditions
After reading many comments I believe different things attribute to it. I had about 5-10 wobbles always around 50 or more km/h and sidewinds in the last months on my new Canyon Aeroad SLX. I swapped the rims from 62 to Shimano C50 but that seemed to have been an unhelpful decision. Just yesterday at a grand fondo I had to brake and my friend crashed into me. Resulting in broken bones, a lot of pain and many months to come to recover. This years summer riding is over. It’s very sad. And every time I get more afraid to ride. In my opinion the manufacturers are not taking this issue serious enough.
Oh wow! So sorry to hear about the accident. Hope you all recover fast!
Hi! I ride on paved forest paths with an electric bike. Currently on the front I have: Maxxis Minion DHF, 3C, Maxterra, EXO+, TR, 29" x 2.5" WT and Maxxis Minion DHR II, 3C, Maxterra, EXO+, TR, 29" x 2.4" WT. I think this tire is too aggressive for my routes. I'm thinking about changing to Vittoria Mezcal 2.35 or PIRELLI SCORPION 2.4. Do you think these tires will be suitable for eMTB on forest paths?
Hey your current tires are pretty aggressive lol but the Scorpions are a little too racy for an e bike. Maybe the Pirelli scorpion M
Great video. Is it possible to install the delta/look road type cleat on the tiger 2?
Thanks. Not to the tiger 2. Need the shot 2 to install the look delta cleats since it’s a road shoe.
shimming effect...easy to solve, ride faster!
Not so clever I would say... these black particles are already in the wax before you put a chain in for the first time. That's why the wax has a black color. These particles ensure that the chain runs smoothly. If you fish out these particles, you can also use normal candle wax :D
People have said this before. It is clever. Pour a fresh bag in and use a magnet. Magnet is clean and no particles. Wax a few chains and use the magnet, filled with particles. Same particles after a degreaser rinse and what’s left at the bottom of the jar. Hit that with the magnet, same particles.
Good video. I wear a New Balance 860 size 9EEEE (X-wide) running shoe. Both my Sidi Dominator and S-Pro Mega 43.5's fit well enough and my feet feel ok after a 2-3 hour ride. PS my foot circumference at the widest point (ball to ball) is 10.5" and would recommend the Mega's for anyone with a wide toe box. I've been using Sidi's since the early 90''s but now that other manufactures are starting to make actual wide sizes (and not just shoes that fit wide) I might try something new for my next pair.
Thanks for the video. Really great job covering the fit details and adjustability features
Do you think you can change the internal crown to a star ratchet, like the DT swiss LN upgrade kit offers? From your video the internals look the same as the 3 pal DT 350 hubs.
Great Information!
