    Started running these Corsa Pros tubeless on my road bike a couple months ago and completely agree with your description. They aren’t quite as snappy, but they roll very well at speed and I love how comfortable they are on our Swiss cheese roads.

      Also, Silca sealant is the only product I’ll run for road tires/pressures.

    I’m with you, tubeless does lack the snap and does seemingly take a pedal stroke or 2 more to bring a bike up to speed

    Bro...I'm still running 28mm with tubes on my TCR ....little hesitant to run tubeless....I do run tubeless on my Roscoe 8.....was down at the Columbia Trail in Hunterdon Co for a chill ride

      They are comfortable and feel better than butyl and a clincher. Latex is next best and you not too far behind

      TCR came with some off brand road tyres ...I'm considering doing Conti Gatorskins with latex tubes....was contemplating the Conti 5000....I like the puncture resistance on the Gatorskins tho ...thoughts? @@addictcyclist

      Conti 5000 have great flat protection, gator skins ride hard, latex won’t even help them

      @@addictcyclistgator skins are also not good in the wet if you ride in those conditions. Ask me how I know?? 🤕🤕🤕

    the thing with sealant is that it doesnt last a lot. Especially if you dare to use a CO2 cartridge.
    It is worth it in a bike you use a lot ( road is not my thing but braking tires is sadly) In a bike that you are not using much, its really not a good idea since. you have to move the wheel from time to time and also you need to replace it.

      True. I use a micro pump in my Jersey pocket. I won’t use a co2

    Found they run a little slower than GP5000 TLS, and a bit twitchier in the descents. Fixed that by dropping 5 psi vs the SRAM tyre guide recommendation. Definitely a "silkier" ride.

    How do you fill the tires with silca sealant? do you have to unbead the tires every time?

    • @addictcyclist
      @addictcyclist  4 месяца назад

      First install bead has to be u done, after that you can use the Silca refresher through the valve
