I don’t understand, why you keep focusing on carbon when you are not using the sworks. Ostro is equivalent to sworks not pro. Sworks pain job is as good as factor. By the way I can build for anyone an sworks tarmac sl8 with duraace for 10k. Anyone can do the same as well.
I didnt delete anything. And I was comparing retail vs retail. Yes I can also build s works for 10k. I had an s works and pro model bikes before. I can’t tell difference and a friend that had both either. Difference was on the scale and in the bank account.
Hi! I have the same sl8 pro frame and I just bought a roval rapide cockpit, but the spacers that I have are for sl7 stem, you bought the spacer for the roval cockpit separately or do they came with the frame?
let me add something here that might be important for especially the resale side of things. everyone knows s-works and everyone knows red bull bora. factor is nothing compared to that. their frames are nearly impossible to resale because they are not as established and they dont have a world tour team. people want to ride bikes that win races (at least outside of your chris miller bubble).
Factor quality ain't that great. There are numerous posts regarding creaking BB due to sizing off from the factory. All these bikes are made in China where quality control is not a top priority. Btw, the Sworks that the pro peloton ride are not made from the same factory as the sworks that sell to mass consumer.
Why aren't you comparing the S-Works SL-8 with the 12R layup and more premium paintwork to the Ostro Vam? The Tarmac SL-8 with the 10R layup is literally $2K cheaper than the S-Works and the Factor.
Paintwork has nothing to do with the layup. I had an s works epic, same shit. Quality control was not as on par as factor. Mass produced is mass produced. Yes s works has better paint options that are better that pro.
I don’t disagree, but the sl8 is the first specialized carbon road bike that ever appealed to me and it’s exceeded my expectations so far. May end up back on a factor next go around. We will see.
@addictcyclist you got a shoutout on the 12/24 nero show podcast. and I have your old systemsix.
Haha nice! Still enjoying it up in Canada!? Yea I saw the mention and thanked Jesse
Did I hear that right? You sold your Factor? You're a mad man
There is something bi-polar about seeing an SL8 and a Mustang in the same garage 😆
Not any ol mystang 🫣😝
I don't care if I'm changing it every week, I'm putting white bar tape on that SL8 😅
🤣
These Freds out here thinking their factor will take them from their solo 17.2 AVG to 22 MPH..

X 100.
@@petersouthernboy6327 challenge me. You pay I will build you any color beside bora/ Roglic.
@@petersouthernboy6327 looks like he deleted my post. I will don’t better I will
Make a video on my channel telling everyone how to do it.

@@bencyclingarageI’d be interested. I am currently looking for that.
Aeroad, Ostro, Foil and new Teammachine are the sexiest bikes out there. Surprised you'd replace the Ostro!
Idk about the rest but the ostro is damn sexy. I don’t keep bikes forever! Sl8 is damn impressive. It’s not sexy tho lol
I just want to Know , Do you plan to keep this bike longer than the other bikes you have owned? at least until the sL9 or somthing like that
I’ll keep until sl9. dogma F always intrigued me as well but hard to give up the comfort of the new tarmac
he’s already selling it 😂
See that’s why resale value matters hahah I got a deal on s works sl8 I can’t pass up! Stay tuned

The spacers came with the frame in the accessory box to run the sl7 stem or the Roval integrated bars
@@addictcyclist thanks! I’ll take a look!
This is jabba cat approved
Is there ANYTHING that loses it's value faster than a carbon fiber roadracing bicycle? Especially when they're made in China/

Factor is 1000 times better in every respect! In comparison to specialized!
